this helped me feel sm better about being lazy on the worst days of my period, i always feel guilty and others make me feel guilty abt not being productive in those times but this really helped!
I literally just started mine today, the timing is PERFECT😂 little tip: if you have painful periods and acne, talk to your dermatologist or doctor about spironolactone!! It has been LIFE CHANGING for my period and cystic acne! And when im not consistent with it (like the last few days, oops) I can definitely feel it😅
even tho I go the doc for my period cramps, they scolded me telling that a woman should be able to bear it and it's natural af (if period cramps affect your daily life, seek medical help they say in theory and look at the reality) I get cramps real hard, bed ridden for the first 2 days still cramp till 3rd day, nauseous, skipped meal etc (every month)

I started to feel horrible when seeing other period routines, and how they wake up at 7AM and workout at 8AM. I simply CANNOT. Thank you for showing us that it’s okay to be a woman and just rest.
i'm watching this on my 5th day. i've been an anemic heavy bleeder forever so i did not used to get cramps but ever since my haemoglobin has been in control and my flow has been normal to less my cramps have been so bad. hats off to tam for still being so productive on her 1st day, i didn't even have the energy to get out bed on my 1st day and I'm still asking my mum to assist me on my 5th day. this video was so comforting. also to tam and anyone else, we're not supposed to wash our hair on our periods as it makes our upper body temp colder which then forces our body metabolism to heat up the body which in turn increases cramps so it's besr to avoid hairwash within your first 4 days.
I just had my period. I've been awake since 6 a.m. and I was writhing in pain, I was vomiting, and lo and behold I slept a little now it's 12 p.m. and I'm in no more pain thank God so this video is with me. Thank you ❤

Earlier this week I had every intention of getting up early on Saturday, going to the gym and then going to a coffee shop to get some work done. I woke up this morning with horrible cramps and just wasted away in bed for a few extra hours. I got up and did SOME stuff but def not how I planned my day. Thanks for helping me not beat myself up about it!

Tam, thank you so much for this wonderful video 😊! I want to give you an advice. Instead of period plastic pads, buy fabric panties pads, they are much more comfortable, way better for the environment, and also I heard that the plastic pads are full of chemicals that increase cramps. I understand that they are more expensive, but I recommend a lot, they have helped me very much!!

You poor thing. I suffered for 35 years with extreme cramps until I had a hysterectomy. It was horrible. Same , PMS, starving, etc. I feel for you girl!! Take care.

Girls, you should try GINGER for menstrual cramps! For me this is game changer. Last period I switched my pain killers for ginger tea and ginger shots and it works perfect. I say this as a person hwo had really bad period cramps.

Loved it ❤. I have something to tell you though 😅 Actually, we shouldn't wash our hairs on our periods. As you know when somebody bleeds from nose, we put the water on their hair so scalp blood vessels shkink and stop bleeding. Hair wash do same with the period flow . So, we shouldn't do hair wash first 3 days of periods. I hope it helps.

Hey Tam. Might be worth checking your iron if you're experiencing fatigue. I recently discovered I'm anemic and the week of my period I need 10 hr sleeps at night and then a nap during the day 🙈

I was suffering from annoying cramps for a long time. I found the solution later. They literally disappeared from my life when I started eating two peeled oranges the day before my period, after dinner or before bed.

Maybe worth to check out the Ayurvedic take on menstrual cramps. If you have so much pain, it is usually a disbalance of your body in the previous cycle, so the time between this period and your last period. Wish you well ❤🙏🏾
My period cramps disappeared completely after my first pregnancy (and they were strong!). Now zero pain during periods. Just in case someone is wondering if the period pain is forever.

periods are different for everyone but i feel women should definitely be able to take 2 days off during this time to just be at home and do what they need instead of having to be forced to get to work and sit in pain and expected to complete tasks just something i feel because not all women get to take this time off as content creators to just have a slow day
