The problem with that tought is if you do it every time, you never learn something useful to reverse the situation. This case was 100% lose but come on, its not like in ranked mode where you literally get bullied by the dumbest guy on earth spamming you with all the emotes he has every 5 secs. You can make some crazy plays and watch how it works.

I was playing funglemaster this one game, went down to 3hp, 8th place at tier 5 when I found a triple bran and lots of tokens. I managed to get first with a full board of murlocs. I had a Holy Mackerel 79 137
I had similar experience with Reno and Murlocs. Got a Bran, tripled it with the power, then got a triple of one of my Murlocs, straight into a Megasaur. The rest was total domination from that point.
Pretty sure that's not achievable within one round though, which was kind of the premise in Kripps intro. Or at least to survive another round to improve the build, which was also impossible with what his opponent got.
dont give up when youre losing the early-mid game? sure, makes sense. dont give up when its 1v1 and you got absolutely annihilated in the first round and your opponent scales better than you? no thanks, id rather spend the 2 minutes waiting for the next game to start.

There was zero chance for Pyramad to even stay alive the last round with what he got. Literally 0. Not 0.1% or 0.00001%. Zero. It was stats plus divine shield refresh. Even with the best possible attacks and deathrattles, he couldn't win. He needed poisons and better refreshes specifically to beat lategame dragons.
I once lost most my life to a dragon high roller, then I found bran and a triple Murlock war leader hit megasuar and a few other murlocks. I avoided top dragon man until the end when I had triple bran and my third megasaur already played. Needless to say, I killed him. And the satisfaction was pure joy.
honestly nowadays it seems that late game giant swings are super important and it's really hard to swing to victory in the late game if you've been tying for a few turns because there's always a few high rollers whenever i roll high and get mama bear and steamroll or something i always feel like i cheated

As a mech player you have an inherent +5% chance to win any battle if your opponent just slams his face into your divine shields enough. The same cannot be said for beasts vs divine shield poisonous murlocs. In that case, just concede and move on.
well, let's say you have a full board of minions with 70/70 or something, and in the finals you meet a opponent with all murlocs having poison and divine shields. Do you really expect me to think : Oh I have a fair chance of winning this! It's better to concede and move on to the next battle and save time.

It does not. You still get double. This is why you see streamers float the copy, because they are hoping foir a triple and as long as there is one on the board, there is no need to play the other.
