This is actually a dominant strategy in very high MMR (12k+). I have seen streamers like twelvewinshs constantly pick up pieces for this transition while playing a midrange build, and then when the time is right he would disconnect before the fight begins and reconnect with 100+ second to spare, then sell his whole board and get the engine pumping with the pieces he saved to go murlocs. It is also very popular in the Asian server unironically
twelvewinshs's dominates this strategy in NA and no one can convince me otherwise
They need to make the timer set for everyone and make them wait before allowing them into the shop like they do in league of legends. It would make it more fair. If you had a shit computer or connection you won’t be able to reconnect as fast like that.

@@billybegood466 early triple on such an early turn indeed isn't good. Especially on the minion that suck so much. Usually you want to conserve your triple potential for early 5 stars minions, not 3 stars that easy to achieve just by leveling up the tavern. The only reason why kripp goes for it is because he knew that he would get rid of that 1-star mech pretty soon, and it would be the last chance to get atleast some profit from it (that he got from awful hero power rng in the first place).
He got lucky afterwards, and was able to stabilise, indeed. But it wasn't because "he was lucky to get triple on 3rd turn"
@@Med1umentor Saying it wasn't a good thing just isn't correct. Was it optimal? No, of course not. Of course you want to try and hold a triple until you can get a five, or maybe a six. Was it better than never getting that minion tripled? Absolutely. You can't always plan around having things go optimally in a game, and you often have to take what you can get and make the best of it.
@@billybegood466 you just playing sophistry here. The point was that triple on turn three was nothing to be happy about. And it IS nothing to be happy about, it's basically discover tier 3 minion for 9 gold, which is awful.
Was it better than nothing? Yes. Was it better than 2 good minions instead - no. So kripp have every reason to be salty about so called "lucky present", that still have pieces of feces clinging to it.
At the very least, that salt nowhere near "new heights" that you described, and have quite a fair reason behind it.

@@Tenma2411 Gold Ghoul+Gold Baron. 6 damage ghoul deathrattle can be paired with bombs+apprentice for ultra bombing or Goldrinn/Spawn/Selfless+rats for huge divine shield rats. Hell you can even do Ghoul, MechEgg, MechEgg, Spawn, Selfless, Baron

Golden Khadgar + Brann + Mommabear, and play the 1/1 beast tokens. They become multiple triples with late game stats as they all gain the Bear effect, triple, and then gain it again when played. Repeat this endlessly and have all the triples you want, as the Cat tokens will slaughter most builds themselves with no other help from the board. You could quite possibly empty half the tier 6 pool yourself.

Savjs is very high ranking and has pulled this off a fair few times now recently. A while ago he pulled an interesting interaction off I would love to see again. If you double khadgar+cat token with momma bear up, all three get buffed by momma before they combine and so does the golden when you play it, so you can get four momma bear buffs on one unit. Very cool to see and oddly effective. :)
Baggurggle with 3 scouts and mackrel looks like a dad murloc and a mum murloc leading a bunch of murloclings and Brann is the creepy hunter stalking them.

Question... why does Kripp usually skip toxfin? around 13:10 he had an opportunity at end of turn to freeze and guarantee poison on his mackerel, so in future turns if he picks up the dinosaur all he really needs is divine shield. I see him pass it in most games. What's the thought behind that?

Here's a list of all the possible combinations that you can try with this meme:
1. 2 khadgar: 1 trip 1 token
2. 1 bran 1 khadgar: 1 trip 1 token
3. 1 bran 2 khadgar: 2 trip 2 token
4. 1 bran 1 golden khadgar: 2 trip
5. 1 bran 1 golden khadgar and 1 khadgar: 4 trip
6. 1 golden bran 1 golden khadgar and 1 khadgar: 6 trip
7. 1 bran 1 golden khadgar and 1 golden khadgar: 6 trip
8. 1 golden bran 1 golden khadgar: 3 trip
9. 1 golden bran 1 khadgar: 2 trip
10. 1 golden bran (1 golden khadgar) : 1 trip
11. 1 golden khadgar 1 khadgar: 2 trip
(double bran is useless and golden khadgar is worse than double khadgars so take that into consideration before combining)
Good to know Krip is finally trying this too. I am a NA top 200, 11k player and I am telling you although this is not something you have to master to get a high mmr, it certainly helps your consistency for someone who constantly get unlucky like myself. And I've seen other people at my mmr do this from time to time as well, so I disagree with Krip for the point that this is not something high mmr people would do.
You should do this when you are relatively healthy and can't find any other key cards for your build and are about to fall off, not when you are about to die (although if you think you would be certainly dead if u don't try this then you might as well). And a friendly reminder: you might need to disconnect the game before fights to buy yourself more time, which is really important, and be sure to leave 4 open slots on your board (unless you already have one of the tokens).
One last note is that usually the ultimate goal for this meme is to go for murloc builds (with mackerel ideally and taunt it (them) later to be an ultimate unbeatable motherf*****), but you can go beast with this too. Beasts are a little worse than murlocs. I would usually use beast as a middle build to keep me alive when I don't find megasaur and then ultimately go murlocs coz they are just too good. But beast build with this is certainly legit as well and if no one else are going murlocs you can certainly beat other builds (including dragons). You would need 2 pieces from above list (you do need to sell one if you have 3 generators) and a mama bear (or golden), then play cat tokens you would get a 32/32 or 77/77 or even 100+ stats cat depending on your combinations, together with Ghastcoilers it's a nasty build too. Hopefully that helps!

I saw a problem with this strategy :D Because you have only vanilla golden scouts, you can't triple anything with the discoveries from the Primalfin Lookout because you have none of the normal ones on the board.
Weird enough, I think Khadgar is the only minion whose effect gets weaker when going from double to triple. Since with two normal khadgars you get 2*2=4 times the summoning, and with a triple you get 3.
