This is true artistry in the works..I love it when someone totally changes a song to make it their own..I've never even heard of this band, but wow..this is a great version of a great bluegrass song, and they totally OWN it...love it
They are a great local Baltimore band! There are now Stone Horses! I met the lead singer by accident a number of years ago! My company worked for him at his "day job"! It was hilarious! He left my boss a note. I was like um, That is the name of the dude in Charm City Devild! He was so funny. He was like you caught me this is my day job! He owned a construction xompany!
I love this remake. Best part about it in my ears is how pronounced the bass line is. In my opinion this remake ranks right up there with Bad Company redone by Five Finger Death Punch
As a devout fan of bluegrass, I grew up on this song, Ralph Stanley, Blue Highway, and Allison Kraus and Union Station, I love this version. It’s different, and also introduces the song to a fan base that otherwise may have not ever heard of this song. It’s also a mood thing, when I’m sad, this is the version I listen to, when I’m happy for some reason, AK and US is my go to
Heard this on the radio...I couldn't believe what I was hearing! The more I listened, the more I loved it! The Charm City Devils do this song with new creativity in a way that keeps the integrity of the song! This is great stuff!
I was just at their CD release party for their new album "Sins" and not only is this song good on the record, its also Great live!!! This is a true Rock n Roll band! IM A FAN OF CCD!!!! Ever since I saw them at CF2 I've been hooked! They are all great guys!
I love this version. My mom is neighbors with Danny Tymnski's family W Rutland VT who sang it in the movie which they dubbed into Clooney. He plays with Allison Kraus!
Who ever says that this band ruined this song or did a poor job should take there words and shove them where the sun don't shine. This is a beautiful way of re inventing a classic song into a modern piece of art. If anyone can do any better they need to show it or shut the hell up.
Charm City Devils are awesome!!! I have been a fan since they released their first album in 2009, and appeared on Crue Fest 2. I can't wait for their new album. I hope more enjoy it, because they are really underrated.
the best version of this song that has ever been made and i don't see anything better than this being made i didn't know this band existed untill i stumbled onto this remake now Charmcity Devils are in my top 10 all time favorite bands
This is Mr. Constant Sorrow's version of the best of both worlds. Somehow country music and rock music went out on a hot date with one another and this is the result, something that's good, sunyside up or down......
I agree love Johnny Cash's cover Hurt by Trent Rezenor... one of my Fav. to play and sing.... Had a chance to meet Victor of Charm City the lead guitar player we have a mutual friend.... nice guy....
Man All I listen is HIP HOP and I have to give mad props to this video, and this song...I wanna rock out to this shyt...I don't care what my friends think
This is true artistry in the works..I love it when someone totally changes a song to make it their own..I've never even heard of this band, but wow..this is a great version of a great bluegrass song, and they totally OWN it...love it

I would like for them to add the end of song with (Meet you on God Golden Shore). Karl Mc
