Repairing a 1200 watt 12volt anchor winch motor.

This Maxwell anchor winch has been playing up for a long time, so I'm going to pull it apart and see what I find.

That’s not an anchor winch! Where’s all the carbon dust and filth? Mine coated me and both decks of our 45 foot catamaran. Never again.

Andrew I was lucky this time, the winch had done very little work and had had a problem since new.

@@svbelisi7639 Yep. It did look pretty shiny and clean inside compared to mine.
