    The french commentators during the end of the match where saying about carlsen: "He will break the tv in morocco, France is back in the match"
    Then he threw his bottle and the commenrators were "Yes come on! break the tv!"
    It was memorable 😂😂😂

  • @Ayatron34
    @Ayatron34 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

    Whats he upset for when Magnus is the one who is all about how good the faster time controls are. And how much he wanted to face Alireza. Well now's his chance. He should be enjoying it.

    • @michaelmassaro4375
      @michaelmassaro4375 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +8

      He’s upset at himself Felt he could’ve done better and probably realized he misplayed a move or two Magnus is a perfectionist which is why he’s as good as he is the man doesn’t make many mistakes when it comes to Chess he’s the most winning GM I know of he expects more from himself it was just a bit of disappointment

    • @TheAluvisify
      @TheAluvisify 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      I think he's upset precisely because he was facing Alireza. I think people forgot how mad Magnus would get when he lost from 5+ years ago. He's lightened up a lot because he has little to prove and has beaten most of the top GMs multiple times. Alireza brings out of the old competitiveness from Magnus.

    • @Docta123
      @Docta123 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think its normal response to get bad when you lose. It's common sense.

    • @tor13128
      @tor13128 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      what u said doesn't conflict at all. he can be upset and still like faster time controls. he didn't say he's bad because he faced Alireza so he can still want to face Alireza. I don't see how any of this means he can't be mad when he loses.

    I've never seen the goat so tilted - magnus main strength (or at least one of them) is he doesn't get tilted, he normally keeps his cool, and then destroys the person. He wasn't right at all in this game, he didn't look himself from the beginning and then got worse as the match went along. Ive never seen Magnus play so poorly in so many games.

    • @adcyuumi
      @adcyuumi 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Um... no. Magnus has never been coold-headed. He tilts very easily when he doesn't understand a position... it just doesn't happen very often. As professional players go, Magnus is one of the LEAST composed. Or professional.

    • @perman07
      @perman07 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Any Norwegian knows this is untrue. Norwegian newspapers have been reporting on his tilts ever since he became WC.
      He's just become calmer and more collected as he's become older.

    • @mikesmithz
      @mikesmithz 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Everyone gets angry when they lose, that's not really getting tilted. Tilted is more when you just start playing stupid moves, when your game plan just falls to bits, and you start playing like a tit. I've watched virtually all of Carlsen's live games and he seems to get stronger when he loses (just look at his many games against Hikaru) - yes he gets angry, and some times he throws a hissy fit - but he seems to be stronger the next game, sort of like losing was an insult of some kind. That didn't happen at all here - he started off with a bad attitude (even the commentators picked up on it, but it was clear to see). Something wasn't right with him and then it just kept getting worse. He didn't come back stronger, he was just full blown tilted and things just got worse and worse. This was easily some of the worst chess I've ever seen him play.
      It will be interesting to find out the real reason he fell to bits.

    in the simul i played against and beat jan gustaffson he played Qb3 and it led to that mass liquidation and there was a moment where he had a winning combo i overlooked, to sac the exchange (bishop + pawn) then he had a crazy engine line that was like f3, and then the knight was trapped, white is +5. chess is more than a game of theoretical knowledge, it is a battle of wills.

    Thanks again for this content which I have really enjoyed 😊I've had mixed thoughts on this recent series of games between Carlsen and Firouzja, but I'll accept the results and shall process that Carlsen genuinely lost these games. Firouzja played brilliantly and showed what he's capable of, and that Carlsen can be beaten, all the while being under pressure. Moving forwards, I think the real testing of Carlsen and Firouzja is ahead when next they meet. Carlsen would know now that he made some faulty moves and that Firouzja plays excellence consistently, so, will Carlsen sharpen up and rectify his reputation?

    Magnus is angry because he knows that if he hadn’t won this game, he should have at least made the draw.
    It’s hard to fathom 🤔 why he (Magnus) didn’t take the rook when he had the opportunity.
    The sad thing is that he (Magnus) behaved just like Hans Moke Nieman !
    There was no good reason for Magnus to blow up like that 😔
    You expect Hans to behave in a juvenile manner, you don’t really expect Magnus to emulate Hans in this fashion.
    I like both players and am happy for Alireza to have won the whole tournament.

      I get it that’s the gothamchess strategy and it works but there are other brilliant players past or present, plus his games are often analysed to death in the actual broadcast so watching yet another breakdown seems redundant, other games don’t always get analysed so your analysis is something new etc

    ADDENDA - Soo...I watched the original broadcast since I hadn't seen the whole thing. The editing is misleading. The reality is less dramatic than it appears here. For example, the "punch" is given while GM Firouzja is not there. In my opinion, nothing exceeds average behavior. My excuses. // ORIGNAL - I am speechless. He should recognize that this behavior is not acceptable and get help. Honestly, it's scary. I wish him the best and he can count on our support.

    MR EPIC is not funny or alive as a human. Just speaks and speaks and speaks. A to Z all the same. Not funny or entetaining. Just saying.
