Imagine 1:11 happening in the deciding 35th frame of that world championship's final match...I think Mark Allen would've quit playing snooker for the rest of his life
Yeah I thought the same, but then I remembered that if the ref deems a foul to be deliberate, he can award the frame to the opponent. And let’s face it, this ref was going by the book. What Dott should have done is put Selby back in to play. A player can always do this after their opponent has fouled. The cue ball isn’t replaced, the opponent plays from where the cue ends up
Well Dott just assumed that the ref would treat it as a regular in-off and give Selby the cue ball in hand. However Dott didn’t take into account that they weren’t playing a friendly game at his local snooker club.
The shot where the cue ball jumps the object ball is a foul because the cue ball landed forward of the object ball's position. Rule 20(b) states: A jump shot is made when the cue ball passes over any part of an object ball, whether hitting it in the process or not, except; (b) when the cue ball jumps and hits an object ball, other than a touching ball, and at the moment of landing on the playing area, the cue ball is NOT on the far side of the current position of that object ball. - this is why that shot was a foul the referee was correct, a lot of referee's actually get this wrong and think once contact is made with an object or cushion jump shots are okay; which is not true. 20(a) Is in regards to jumping over a different object ball after initial contact. 20(c) Is in regards to the cue ball jumping over the struck object ball off a cushion or another object ball.

Shame on Graeme that he then took the advantage
It’s not terrible to be bald, but if your passion and energy go with your hair......😆😆😆
Samson.
Surely stopping the cue ball from going in the picket could be an advantage.
Picket 😂

Ebdon obviously got slower as he got balder lol.
Wakelins miss -> stephen Lee???
WHat Stephen Lee has to do with that shot? :|
So because Ronnie O'Sullivan played a black at the end of a frame that he didn't need, THAT is one of the "Rarest Moments" in history? Seriously?
