Well, he still has one direct advantage even if for high cost - his troops DON'T take a year to train. And money is far easier to gain as payment then reputation(fuck lazy Coalition assholes).
Towards the end disbanding national troops wouldn't cause them to be recruited by insurgents. What determines this chance? And can you then hire a replacement after firing theme? A double edged blade is no less sharp, and used wisely is absolutely worth the risk to the user.
If there's one thing that I could call the Warlord's "private militia" is that they're mercenaries, since "mercenary" is what I would accurately call the Warlord's national soldiers' "alternative mindset". Speaking of, since the Warlord's mercenary-minded national troops act much like Coalition troops (only spending money to keep them around for longer instead of reputation), perhaps future updates/mods could add mercenary troops (also known as private military contracted, or PMC, troops if you want to use a more politically correct term for these units) with the same mechanics as the Warlord's mercenary-minded troops, and which are distinct from both national and coalition troops, and redesign the Warlord to have to rely upon mercenaries from the start, and optionally unlock more regular national troops later down the military tree (whereas other governors would only unlock mercenary troops later in their tech trees)? Also, I could imagine seeing a contractor as either an advisor that gives buffs to mercenary troops (such as increased combat ability), or a governor that also has to rely upon mercenaries from the start, much like the Warlord, only has access to more monetarily-expensive traits instead of the Warlord's more unethical traits. Off-topic, but what would your thoughts be about a "dictator" governor, who's playstyle could best be summed up as "authoritarian, ruthless, and willing to take oppressive actions to bring stability to the region", with unique traits like "prison labor" (which cheaply increases construction speeds at the cost of antagonizing the insurgents, who might see the prisoners as potential recruits and/or captured friends/family), "popular mobilization" (which increases the rates at which regions align with both the player and the insurgents due to increasing political polarization), "secret police" (which act as stronger police that also increase stability at the cost of antagonizing the insurgents), "propaganda machine" (which increases support and reputation at the cost of antagonizing the insurgents), "the draft" (which greatly increases national soldier strength at the cost of reduced support), and "death penalty" (which reduces corruption and increases support at the cost of antagonizing insurgents)? Also, what would your thoughts be about a "visionary" governor, who's playstyle could best be summed up as "a wide-eyed fanatical believer of western ideals, can call on support from foreign volunteer groups": that is, not being popular with the locals (much like the Warlord), and having a more difficult time reaching out to locals, especially in remote regions (due to being seen as a bigoted infidel, and represented by higher costs), but receiving more funding with high reputation, having cheaper access to more progressive reforms (like democratic transition and universal justice) and foreign aid, and having access to "foreign revolutionary" troops (whom, save for ideology, would not be too dissimilar from terrorist groups like the Insurgents themselves), who act similar to coalition troops, only cheaper, willing to stay in the conflict for longer in exchange for money or reputation (though less than mercenary or coalition troops respectively), initially weaker, but can be upgraded to more normal combat ability (since they start out as basically untrained but eager NGO-funded warriors (as opposed to more professional soldiers or mercs) that aren't too dissimilar to the insurgents themselves), and more prone to anger locals than even coalition troops?
I got cucked by this map so much. When I get the zones to stablise, the Insurgents do their stuff and rekt me. When I get to fight them well, the people say "nah we hate ya" and suck me reputation dry. Damn it
Try getting a tank on a National soldier (and don’t let it disband). You’ll never have a problem off of the mountains again (in regards to the insurgents).

If this was actually on brutal I'm a pufferfish from the moon.
I would love if you play the new update of kaiserreich ❤ in hoi4
For everyone who’s got a hard time playing with the Warlord. Just watch my video’s. I just started this channel and I’m playing with him on every map.😁
Choose the Warlord if you'd like to pretend Rebel Inc. is taking place on Tropico instead of the middle east!
Casual play and win the game.
Me: Stare the screen so goddamn hard to find the camp and lose the game.... shit
Why do you wait on the exclamation points pravus? Like so he can see this because this is a true question I want to ask.
If it is for coalition soldiers, you can actually have them a little bit longer if you delay the exclamation points. If not coalition soldiers, then he is probably busy doing something else or talking.
Imagine they make an DLC where you can control the Russian army and they don't need to send home or anything but you need to pay them moneys to make them stay
Vodka will be enough
I was hoping for a Guide for this Mission.
But given how easy and a-Typical the situation was, it does not provide that.
God first it was the general, now the warlord is pissing me off so bad, I can't even complete it on casual..
Why do you always go for peace, DESTROY THEM.
He does peace AFTER destruction
While it is possible to win without a peace deal, peace makes the whole thing faster, which helps his score.
I also used to destroy them without peace deal.

Can someone please tell me what are Garrison's used for
They help you trap insurgents and support nearby troops.
So they prevent insurgents from going to their province right?
Only when they're retreating. They can still directly attack regions with garrisons or soldiers in them.
@@kaz998 thank you
hello buddy
Lazerbem autro
Warlord is all about being agressive with coalition and national soldiers from the start, with all the soldiers you can easily destroy the insurgent forces, very early on, then use your national soldiers to roll out initiatives as needed across the region to quickly build support
Can we win this game without upgrading it to premium in handphone
Use drones man... insurgent bases might be everywhere...
Could be called Pakistan government simulator but more soft gameplay
No homo, but you have a nice voice
