Fantastic video. We followed it and it seemed to work it briefly. Bizarrely the eventual permanent solution was a line of code in a random place (we found it on a forum). This is an awesome video if for no other reason than it helped me to discover a VPS provider that has a good plan at a low price. That said, It looks like since you made this video they've added CyberPanel and WordPress to their list of free options that they will set up for you when you pay for their service.

Nice tutorial. I have a question. after you updated the dns records in namecheap advance dns, do you still need to change the customer nameserver in namecheap? I'm talking about the one with ns1 and ns1 undre customer nameservers in namecheap. Are there any changes to be done right there or not?

Yup it is the same process. Just take note that some servers block port 8090 by default. If you encounter errors installing cyberpanel, you may want to contact your host support to unblock the firewall for the port.

Got another question. If I already have a full back up of my site using ManageWP, then wouldn't it be easier and doable to login to the WP site created in Cyberpanel, add the ManageWP plugin, then restore my full site using the ManageWP 'restore'. No wp-config, no database to mess around with.. is this possible?

Hey, unfortunately I have a problem and I think it is due to the security of cyberpanel. I wanted to activate the key from the plugin Duplicator Pro, but it does not work. It says that it can not connect to the Duplicator server. Can the firewall prevent it?

Thank you for you time sharing your knowledge. I was able to migrates two sites to a different domain. But only the homepages are working fine, the rest of the pages are saying redirected you too many times.
I have the same problem
I not an expert on this, but I think that's because other pages are considered sub-domains. When installing an SSL certificate, it has to be a wildcard certificate to also apply to sub-domains. You might have to reinstall a wildcard SSL certificate on your new site. That might be why it's redirecting. Again, not an expert, but that's my best guess.
Great tutorial! Do you plan to create a complete tutorial for the Litespeed cache plugin setup? Since this is a Litespeed server and I believe that you have much experience in setting this from the previous series of videos that compares hosting.

Hi Jack. Great videos, keep up the great work. Quick one. I followed your video step by step, migrating my website to the cyber panel. The front page is working perfectly, I'm receiving 404 errors on all my other pages. Do you have any advice on how to fix it? Thanks
All sorted. It's working perfectly. What I did was channel my inner Jack Cao and fix all the issues. The main issue was the WordPress address and the site address was different. Changed it to same and it's working.

Is the SSL - self-assigned or coming from an auto SSL generator? Thanks
The SSL is from Let's encrypt, but if it can't obtain a Let's Encrypt Cert for some reason, it will be self signed. Thanks. I was able to migrate to a different domain. But only the homepage works fine, the rest of the pages give error 404.html
Please check the file sizes between the files in your current host and compare it to the files you are adding to your new host. Chances are the file sizes are different which means a lot of pages are not copied over.
Jack why did you jump to the 4th fastest host? Last week you were whole hog about A2 as they are the fastest?

I must be due to the size limit for the upload. Check how big is your batabase file, and then you want to configure the size of the database upload. I believe I've mentioned it in the video on how you can do it.
@@JackCao Issue has been solved and it worked fine 3 weeks back but now I had to change the server os and do the steps mentioned in the tutorial, everything is done but the usage of bandwidth and data base still show zero and no change in the website? Am I doing something wrong bro?
@@saibabubijja3441 which part are you stuck at? Each OS has different command to install Cyberpanel. What I have shown is basically for Unbuntu only.
@@JackCao I didn't follow anything to install cyberpanel actually I am using cent os 7 with cyberpanel and I followed steps to migrate website on to vps server, I was able to do everything as per the tutorial but the usage of database and bandwidth show 0, when I open my website I still see just another website logo, how can I fix?

What is the advantage of a VPS? It is more expensive. That is soooo complicated that one could get suicidal tendencies.
For long term use, it is much cheaper than shared hosting. Most shared hosting are expensive on renewal. Oh, and don't buy VPS from shared hosting providers. They are expensive. Buy from VPS host like UltaHost, Contabo, Digital Ocean, etc. Not from, for example, Hostinger, Scala Hosting, or BlueHost. VPS adds an additional layer of security as your sites are separated from others. Performace wise, they are similar to shared hosting.
