Please, let me know your opinion about the old version of Application Installer's upgrades in my case:
the Prestashop could be installed, but almost no upgrade could be done.
Besides, I created the website with CyberPanel and then had installed the most recent version of Prestashop still got errors like 500, 503, 200.
After the serie of trials, I came to the conclusion, that these errors have to do something with permits. The happens with Mautic too.
Is there any script of Application Installer somewhere?
One more question: are you planning to creat some video about Docker?

I'm not aware of any workaround for this issue. Did you definitely confirm that it was a permissions issue?
I do plan to make some videos about Docker. Look out for that in the first few months of 2021

I have installed cyberpanel on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS GCP but the SSL service do not work though Openssl is installed. Everytime I assign SSL, my website gets Self signed SSL in cyberpanel.

it does allow any number of websites, but personally found performance to be greatly lacking vs a virtualmin instance

Hello Tony. I tried Cyberpanel but i had some issues with backups. Is it possible to have individual scheduled backups for each site? I couldnt find a way out of this.

Yes, smtp works. I'm not sure if they block email ports, but if so you'll need to have DigitalOcean open them

Can i Issue the ssl certificat from let's encrypt after the website had been defined (without the ssl box ticked ?) i have the feeling the answer is no. cause whenever i try to issue the ssl certificate from the already running website 'manage" page I get a SELF-SIGNED SSL that will expire in 3649 days. I am stuck with this issue...any clue ? regards
I think you should be able to install the ssl after the fact. You would need to remove the self signed cert first though

Hi Tony, great training as usual. When Cyberpanel is configuring the wordpress installation I get 'Installation failed. Error message: [404]'. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

You will still need hosting... CyberPanel needs to be installed on a server somewhere
Hi Tony, can you make a video on how to add a paid SSL (basic and wildcard) to the server and site, when setting up the site, or after setting up. Wildcard SSL info is what I couldn’t find that I think is imperative for others...and me. 😁

Yes you can, as long as the sites aren't getting thousands of pageviews an hour
Anyone able to do this with the epik registrar? I keep getting a host not found error when trying to set the name server and their tech support keep saying it’s on my end. I followed this to the letter, only difference is the registrar
Did it end up working for you after a few days? Sometimes it takes a while for your DNS changes to propagate
How would you change your CyberPanel user name so that it is anything other than admin?

hello. i need to consult something, i had created a WP page in cyberpanel, then i moved the htaccess file, which blocked me from accessing it. I have deleted the page to create it again, but when I click on the link after installing WP again I still get error 404. :c
When you say "blocked me from accessing it", do you mean a 404 error?
I cannot get Let's Encrypt SSL to work. I get the following notification (your website) has SELF-SIGNED SSL. Your SSL will expire in 3649 days. Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Hello, I followed your tutorial step by step, unfortunatly when i wanted to install wordpress i git a 404 and the instalation failed....any suggestions ?
Could be a number of things. I would suggest starting from the beginning and trying again
I tested wordpress with cyberpanel and redis on a VPS the other day and the performance was absolutely horrid, the CPU would blow up to 100% with a simple page if requested multiple times - slowing down other connections
currently am running my webhosting on virtualmin with wordpress connected to redis in the same fashion and the performance is absolutely fine, can open hundreds of tabs of the same website on different devices and performance stays around 30%
setup is 4 cpus at 2,2 ghz and 8gb ram in both instances
This is really unexpected. If you're using the same underlying web server and the same redis settings, I would not think performance would be different by just changing a control panel. A control panel simply allows you to configure your websites...it doesn't impact any aspect of a page request
Cyberpanel (Wordpress ) or lite speed server (wordpress) on linode $5 server, which Will be good for 2 sites
It should be good as long as if they don't recieve too much traffic.

@@TonyTeachesTech after adding A Name on my domain provider when I issue an SSL it gets issued but it does't work. I face "Conection not secure" problem everytime. I tried again by deleting everything on my new VPS Server to make sure there is no residual file left of SSL and have tried many times like this but still I am not getting solution of my problem & my domain is on Porkbun.
Moreover I tried ur another method also as I have Openlitespeed Server along with Cyberpanel. But I have two websites thts y I manage from Cyberpanel. so after creating a website on Cyberpanel, on Openlitespeed i see two Virtual Host 1)Example 2)My website so can u pls make a video in this case How to Install SSL. bcoz ur SSL on Openlitespeed video if I am trying to copy it. It is saying "Does not exist or it is not a directory". I tried again by first deleting Example Virtual Host and taking my Website as a virtual but directory error again.

It is showing an 404 error.

404 means that the page you are requesting does not exist. Check the URL that you are accessing
slower than openlitespeed?
I don't think so since Cyberpanel is just a control panel that runs on top of OpenLiteSpeed
