I imagine there would be a new sub-category called the “LDR (Least Damage Run)” where you would have to have the most amount of power whilst taking the least damage
Luna Bomber would be so busted in F-Zero 99. It effectively has the top speed of Fire Stingray (Stingray is a negligible amount faster), but it has an acceleration stat that even Golden Fox can't match. Its power slide is a bit nasty, but even in a skid, it has speed retention on par with Stingray. It hits Stingray top speed about as fast as Fox hits 437. I hope they add the Ace League to F-Zero 99, but none of the cars, especially this one.
There is a process that I following. I spend a lot of time on the first and second lap. Once I'm satisfied with the 2nd lap, I copy the inputs over for the next loop and initiate my BOT to clean it up. I know this is hard to imagine, but the "Sub Pixel" position of the car is different enough that on each lap completion, the inputs will not carry it all the way through to the end. It is a long long process.

Not going for every little bit, would mean the difference in a frame for each lap. Why? because subpixels add up to pixels. When 9 pixels are found, you have another frame! :) With so many turns, it is always easy to think that small amounts don't make a difference. Now you see the reason for me building a BOT to discover them all.

According to TCRF all of BSX' tracks have placeholders in the game.
