Great amp.own it love it.Running into greenbacks makes it even better-kind of like a modded Marshall that stays focused at gig volumes,The only amp you need once you dial it in...that's the tricky part.
I’m not usually a fan of these super high-gain amps cause although they chug, they usually don’t have personality or color. This one on the other hand has a really nice color to it. I may look into getting one. Good vid, thanks!
hey there Better Music ...great review ! any tips on how to get a nice clean tone at volume (loud) I own one of these amps and channels 2 and 3 do all my rock stuff perfect but in the clean channel when I have the volume at a gigging level it gets really muddy, ive tried turning the gain down but then I lose volume. this is with or with out pushed mode?

Do you have to press the FX loop button on the pedal board to activate/deactivate it or can you, for exemple, always have the reverb (from the FX loop) always activated on the clean channel and then deactivated automaticaly when you switch to channel 2?
sleepwalker2112 that's actually exactly how I run my Dual Rectifier. I have my effects loop assigned only to channel 1 (clean) and if I'm on channel 2 or 3 if I hit the FX button on the switch it then turns on the effect for that channel as well. Great for if you have heavy chorus/reverb on your clean but want to go to straight distortion and back with the press of only 1 button
The rehearsal studio I'm using right now happens to have Dual Rec, and I was wondering how to change the channels without relying on the foot controll. Is there any way to shange the channel on the amp itself?
Mine does sound boomy as fuck. I got this stuff with a ESP Eclipse with a sh6 distortion. In channel 2 et 3 i got bass at 9 o clock and treble in 3 o clock and it fix a bit the boomy thing

This might sound silly but can you tell me the difference between the Dual and the Triple Rectifier?
50 wats in a more gain that I am aware of
Triple is tighter and cleaner. The Triple doesn't have more gain, just more headroom in the power amp to make the sound tighter and crisper.
i see you werent using a boost....are those active pickups?

I know these at excel at metal but can you also use them as a good all around amp?

I don't know about the Marshall but the Mesa is definitely darker the the evh or 6505+.

For that you need dual rec roadster or road king
You can do that just set the loop to the specific channel you want on the back of the head.

You can use it with any amp that has an effects loop. But if you want channel switching you can add a mini gizmo via midi
