Good video. Was last in PA 2 years ago for a health appt. I was shocked at the level of open drug use and intoxication. People passed out on the sidewalks. It was not a safe place to be. Much like Saskatoon's west side. We always used to enjoy visiting PA there are some very nice houses there. It was sad to see the changes.
Prince albert definitely has it’s challenges
Great video! I’ve lived in PA 45 years! For me it’s been a wonderful place to live and raise a family! You summed it all up very truthfully!
@@howardbutler4878 hey that’s awesome glad to hear that! Prince Albert is a beautiful city
I’ve lived in Prince Albert for the majority of my life and it can be very dangerous. There was a drive-by two houses away from me and a lot of people I know have been threatened because there are a lot of dangerous people here
Can be yeah. But not all bad there are good parts of the city too. Agree you need to navigate with caution. I did mention in the video the crime rates in prince albert. Albeit can still be a very nice city, close to all the lakes
Wow
Thanks for all these infos on Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Hey you bet, thanks for watching. What did you like best?
@@saskatchewanrealtor me I like Regina, Saskatchewan
@@jonaslaurince excellent, well happy to help however I can
It was a nice quiet city in the 90s and early 2000s to be raised in... but over the past few years crime rate and really sketchy people jumped even around some of the nicer areas like king George school area, moved to the east hill area 11 years ago it was great at first thief's, property destruction, vandalism. Nothing seems to be bringing down the crime rates I have had sketchy people approach me and I was minding my own to only get yelled at, called names and accused of being racist. I don't feel safe in the city I grew up in, but my hands are tied so I can't move.
Hey I hear you. Prince Albert is still a beautiful city, not sure what needs to be done to improve the streets there
Pa is legit . Just has all the bums from the surrounding reserves come and makes a mess
It happens, agreed prince albert is legit
Lots of white junkies too. I thought they didn't have vices them colonizers
Was there Monday. You could not go a block without seeing sketchy people doing sketchy things. What a depressing place. So unfortunate. The surrounding areas are beautiful. I'd consider it only as an option if they cleaned it up.
Some truth to this for sure. There are good areas in prince albert though too
@@saskatchewanrealtor the problem is having to shop and drive by the problem every time you venture out.
@@darcyp1602 I do not deny it
"Tobin Lake and Codette Lake"
Both nice lakes
Since when is the rural surrounding lakes and communities considered Prince Albert?
@@HappyJungleWaterfall-tk3ls it’s not considered price albert, but prince albert’s closer proximity to the lakes is one of the positive sides of the city of prince albert
I have been to PA lots of times, and it is a dangerous place to live and you do not get the friendly vibe that the rest of Saskatchewan provides. I personally would not live there.
Hey fair enough. What brought you to PA?
@@saskatchewanrealtor Work, I travel to several cities throughout the Prairie Provinces, and to be honest, PA just is not enjoyable.
Pros?
Lol. Do you live in prince abert?
Do you live in prince albert?***
@@saskatchewanrealtor nope just been there bunch. It's easily worst biggest city in sask
What a dump. If you work in PA find somewhere else to live. The commute will be worth it.
Do you live in PA? I find a lot of people live in or around PA and commute to the north to work
@@saskatchewanrealtorI unfortunately do, I’m going to be honest I’d leave if I could, it’s rough.
We have a bad drug problem, and alcohol problem, many people use in public, a joke that me and my friends have is the best thing about Prince Albert is that you can leave. But think things will get better hopefully.
@@theironcladman4272 yeah there is some strong development in the area too, which shows some promise. I often forget PA is the third largest city in saskatchewan. Definitely has pros and cons. Downtown is ghost town but PA does still have some upside too
@@saskatchewanrealtor very true, and I’m really happy that we’re getting new developments, I’m very excited for the new rink and sports centre, cause we need better facilities, and it also provides us with more options, like hosting hockey tournaments, and other games, brings more tourists which would bring in my cash flow and aid in redeveloping downtown and just making pa better, not to mention the pulp mill and the diamond mine (may or may not happen) that would bring in more workers and provide local jobs. Our shithole might become a golden turd soon lol.
Hope you have a good day.
Obviously you do not live here. Because the gang and drugs, addictions, homeless, crime rate are SKY ROCKET . Nice try though. LOL.
Nice try on what? I was explicit about not sugar coating that it does have one of the worst crime rates in the country. I’m in PA all the time lol it is what it is, there are still great things to be said about the city itself
As someone who grew up and lived here it has taken a drastic sky rocket with crimes, homeless, addictions and so much more. You just mentioned petty crimes but the 'safer' areas to live cost so much most can't afford. I live around king George school and my neighbour has been nothing but harassed but little punks all summer. They broke her window last week. A month ago there was a hole they made in her window as well. You need to live here to experience it all, not just visit every now and then. Earlier this month someone caught a whole video of someone have s3x at cornerstone! I have a friend who doesn't live to far from me I went to school with she always has something to share almost every week. It's by far the worst city to live in. In the early 2000s I was glad to live this city and even done a whole essay on its history for English class. It's one of the oldest settlements and cities, but also the worst. Sorry dude, but there has to be some complete drastic changes to improve its worth in my opinion. Once I'm able to leave I'm outtie.
"Gateway to the Methheads"
Hahaha. Well exhibition in PA is usually a good time
No. All the time. Just not during the exhibition 😅@@saskatchewanrealtor
