Some people can have the world on a sliver platter and never be contented. We need to remember to be grateful and count our blessings that we have more than most people in many parts of the world. If you have a toilet and indoor plumbing then you've got more than Kings and Queen's had a few centuries ago. 😉 I can't believe that Paul got all of that decking done in and he did a great job to boot!
I always enjoy your video's. You give your viewers such great ideas. I'm not a big fan of orange marmalade. I'm more of Raspberry or Strawberry jam person. But, I want try your version. It looks really good. I appreciate how you keep your bedroom to a minimum, as it's yours & Paul quite haven. I need to do that to my bedroom. Too many things, make it to distracting. Hard to sleep. You inspired me to declutter. Also, your husband is doing a great job on the deck. Kudo's to him. Thank God that he was doing it on a nice warm day & that it wasn't done in the brutal heat of summer!

You appear to have a very large and beautiful home. Even at 60 and 65 we have never stayed in the same house as long as 12 years to replace a deck, good job. Will have to try the marmalade. Thanks.
I really enjoy all of your videos. And as a fellow New York State resident. I give you guys a lot of credit for being retired and trying to live on your income. Living in this state, is not a cheap way to live. I completely agree with you about the sentiment of contentment. Knowing when enough is enough, and being happy with your lot in life, goes a long way and bringing not only happiness. But also a feeling of rest and comfort. And also being content means keeping the bills to a bare minimum. Keep the good videos coming. And one thing that I would like to suggest. Is maybe doing a segment for those who live on a minimal fixed income. For those who live on Social Security, disability, Etc. Because there's going to be a lot of food insecurity that's going to be coming up in the next couple of years.

My husband and I are in our mid 30’s we have two young boys and I find we are in this weird stage of life... a lot of our friends and people our age are just buying and wanting the biggest and best and it’s so easy to get caught up in it sometimes. What simple productive day. Yes contentment is in the small routine parts of life and wonderful to experience. I make jam and use hot sterile jars and lids, add the Jam hot and seal it. As it cools, a vacuum is created which means you can keep it in the cupboard and refrigerate once opened. The sugar content is critical to help preserve, might be and old Aussie/English method. It is good to have the headboard that allows the light through and allows you to center the bed in the middle to maintain a symmetry.

What simple productive day. Yes contentment is in the small routine parts of life and wonderful to experience.
I make jam and use hot sterile jars and lids, add the Jam hot and seal it. As it cools, a vacuum is created which means you can keep it in the cupboard and refrigerate once opened. The sugar content is critical to help preserve, might be and old Aussie/English method. Cheers

Can' t wait to see the finished product. Biscuit has a Nutri-Bullet which is used to grind up kibble to mix with her special food because of her ME. Maybe, she will let me borrow it to make the marmalade? Maybe, if I give her an extra spoon of apple butter 😜. Yeah, I know we are not well, but you gotta have a sense of humor. You guys need a butter bell. Soft butter on hot toast is heavenly.
I will have to look into that. I have never heard of a butter bell lol!
@@FrugalMoneySaver a crock with an air tight water seal for room temp butter without it going rancid.
