Praise be that your dad is on the mend. And yes to those helmets! Sounds like he’s an active guy with a positive attitude and so I have zero doubt he is going to make it through this with flying colors!!! (Plus family support system never hurts ❤) Having your colors done is SO fun. I just did it and it has dramatically helped my yarn choices 😂
I'm so glad that your dad is on the mend and making such big strides in his healing! See if it can be arranged for him to get some lymphatic massage during rehab (and after too), it will speed his recovery even more and help him feel amazing. Can't wait to see what you make with the moodier green and purple yarns.😊
Glad to hear your father is doing well. looks like he's getting a new helmet for Father's Day! You've been going wild with yarn since you paid off your loans! Woo!
Omg, I am so glad your dad was wearing a helmet! I love your yarn taste, please don't let anyone tell you a color is not for you. Wear the colors you want. Rachelle in Seattle
I love the purple moody color, I think it will look beautiful textured! Sending well wishes for your Father and his recovery. Being in the hospital is cruddy, so I hope he gets home soon 🙂. Your tank looks beautiful and you might very well be able to stretch it lengthwise a bit so it takes away from the width. Stay safe from the storms and I hope you have a wonderful two weeks! 🙂
I am sorry to hear about your dad's accident. Always scary when you aren't right there to get the details first hand. I will say that I have experienced a number of inappropriate and inaccurate comments by medical technitions. "So, does cancer run in your family?" "I can't find your left kidney." "I only see a minor irregularity in your heartbeat." Always fun to be left hanging with those remarks until hearing from the doctor.
sorry to hear about your dad chelsea! my dad had a bad cycling accident in august last year - he was hit by a car. he spent a week in ICU and then about 3 months as an in patient in rehab, but he was determined to get back on his bike and he is back to riding 40-50 km a few times a week again (no longer on the road though). love all your bright yarn choices!
Oooh I love that “tweedy-scum” color 😲😆 Also, I’m so glad to hear that your dad is doing well. That must’ve been so scary for you all. Also also, I was praying for you yesterday when I heard you were under a tornado watch. I’m glad it didn’t amount to anything scary this time!
Also also also, unsolicited opinion here, but I think that the velvet colourway would make the better cabled sweater. I think the tweed would show better in stockinette with maybe a colourwork yoke.

It’s so interesting because 80% of my yarn choices were already in my color season. I was just in denial 😂

Haha, oh gosh I’ve bought so much yarn. 😂🤦🏼♀️
Praying for your safety as well as your family. So many deaths from tornadoes last evening. ❤❤❤
Thanks. It’s been a terrible season but thankfully it’s missed us all.

The woman who did my analysis was super nice and never made me feel like these were the only colors I could wear.
I love that book! The sequel is great too.
Oooo, didn’t know there was a sequel
Great Tulsa tank!
Thanks!
Run out of yarn!!! OMG, I’d would lose it!
Haha, it sucked

So glad your dad recovered well!
I'll be looking forward to seeing you at L&K!

Thank you! I’ve gotten lucky this year despite an active tornado season.
Hope that you did well with the storms last night. Kansas didn't get it as bad as OKC.
Thankfully we were spared.
HI..my guess ...you are a Summer..😊
I’m an autumn! Surprised me though.
