+Sage Zetsu It's not really him, whole game is a damn cliffhanger. What I meant is that I can't have enough of these videos, they're so damn good. StallordD's narration is amazing.
I wonder how the Ostrons felt when the Moon suddenly popped back into existence, mostly intact as opposed to entirely destroyed.... I'm sure Onkko wasn't surprised at all, but the rest of them were probably like "Holy fuck! There must be millions of tons of cheap Orokin crap in there we can sell to Offworlders for an arm and leg!" And jumped in their little bomb balloons to go harvest the Moon....
I feel an innate frustration due to this video. I love the lore, this lore is incredibly rich and makes the Ostrons sound like such an interesting society. However, I had to come HERE to basically find that out. When you go to Cetus, there isn't a feeling of a cultured society there, it feels shallow. The only things you find are the npcs and some guy screaming prices over and over. It never tends to feel like anything particularly interesting is happening there. Completing the quest, we learn of the battle with Gara, the Unum, and the Eidolon, but even with that in mind we don't get to see the rich culture of the Ostrons. DE has such amazing lore and content, and I'm just so sick of having to leave the game to find it. I shouldn't have to go to the wiki or to youtube to learn about the game so much. I shouldn't have to break immersion in order to feel more immersed
The story is told in the thousand-year fish statuettes. The spirituality is explained by Nakak. It is not that the story was not told, you just did not come to listen. Also this is basically Dark Souls storytelling. Git gut at lore.
I would add that they probably wouldn’t eat the tower flesh because of the gold dust and to support that whenever you provide fish it’s said that it would feed ostrons because of that your standing increases
Is there an explanation for what we see in the plains of eidolon? Like the giant dead fish, or the asteroids that are visible at night like if it is some destroyed star, or such things?
What you see in the sky are the remains of the Moon (Lua), in its state before The Second Dream. Giant dead fish is just that, It's giant and dead. Happens sometimes.
Awesome video as always, I really enjoy watching your lore videos. Just want to point something out though: Cetus' placement on the on the map isn't necessarily true to the actual place of Cetus, since Mariana is in North Africa on the map. Or maybe it's not referring to the Mariana Trench is which case the mission being udnerwater doesn't really make sense in Africa.
Did anyone else get a pen and paper and write to the best of their ability "swaz do lah" because it appears as if we've been spelling it wrong and it's more "swahz do lah"
I have been following you for a while and can I just say I have enjoyed every lore video you have done to this point. This is also the first time I've commented I know you stress that Loki is your favorite but I was wondering what was your first Prime frame and what was the first frame you made?
Interesting how they still praise the Orokin as gods even if probably just by old tradition in a very neutral respectful manner when they would abuse their power so often until the end of it as the Warframes and tenno wiped them out
hey stallord ... what do you think about samodeus ? i'm really not shure about him .. on one side he's a cephalon .. means he's made out of data .. so im thinking .. what the hell does he wanna do with all the kuva we give to him ? as i know kuva is all about transferrence (and transferrence has to do with your soul)... so what the hell does a beeing made of data with an element that maipulates the soul ??? maybe he uses the kuva to transform the shards of his body (the riven mods) ... or maybe he's sitting on our ship watching us silently.... collecting all the kuva and finally hes got enough to fullfill his evil plan ?! ... idk ... but maybe you will have an idea ^^ ?
Cephalon Samodeus is supposedly going to get some info dumped in the Sacrifice, according to what the Devs said during...one of the streams a while back. Edit: I might've been thinking about prior to U19 actually--apparently his introduction was taking too long and got scrapped. Not sure if DE still plans to do anything with him or not now.
Transference is the transmission of consciousness into something else, of which only the Tenno are strong enough to undertake. What the Orokin and the Grineer Queens are doing is Continuity, which is what they used Kuva for, and it's a transfer of one's "soul" to another body. It's also the way they made Cephalons.
I'm so weirded out by the fact that ostrons eat a tower's flesh And uncomfortable that this tower has flesh .. lol I mean she is a living thing.. but at the sane time a building?
Orokin loved their genemutating They made their towers living so Sentients wouldn't asimmilate them. I am pretty sure Unum doesn't mind and actually wants them to feed their flesh and Kuva
Theory for the Sacrifice...
Konzu has to sacrifice all of his early lunches.
He just couldn't get anyone to take that on
To feed the family and the cousins too?
Consigns Kavat/Kubrow to Lotus
Konzu steals companion
“Early lunch for Konzu”
Offworlder: this kabuchi ain't half bad.
Ostrons: *rubbing hands together, maniacally* easy money!
so theyre space jews
Ferengi?
Meta Nexus yeah, kinda.
>
I smell profit!
Suddenly I want to log in and take a walk across Cetus.
Sacrifice Quest: *This* *will* *kill* *the* *whole* *family* _and_ *the* *cousins* *too* *!*
I love these
I hate when they END!
White Void IKR he always leaves you on a cliff hanger these videos are great 😁

Idk if anyone has told you this but you're the vaatividya of Warframe. It's great.

An excellent video to sip my coffee to before work. Well done once again, Stallord.

i know the feeling man

Logonon Trily the fish statuettes also tell much about cetus' culture
Aperture Puppet the *glass fragments* tell about the culture, but close enough.
Logonon Trily nope. I mean, yeah, the shards do it as well. But most of the info is within the statuettes
Been waiting for this
Even though I don't play anymore, I still love watching these.
Eyo! Thanks for another great lore video!
I would add that they probably wouldn’t eat the tower flesh because of the gold dust and to support that whenever you provide fish it’s said that it would feed ostrons because of that your standing increases
Never stop making these.
this is honestly great content
Amazing video, as per usual
You make great videos.
Damn I did not realise the amount of depth put into the world building of cetus
Re Wine: You always go pee first or near first thing after waking up. So a claim 'this wine makes you expell' is just 'hi you'll pee in the morning.'
heck yay. More lore guy video to watch!
Dah-dap, surah!
Fuarr you still make great videos

The asteroids are gonna hit tilted towers o:
I thought they hunted for whale meat but they literally harvest it from the self regenerating Unum Tower. It was quite a revelation.
the only thing I dislike about these is that they dont go on forever
Recent grandmother story changes this I guess, in her story, orokin exist alongside ostrons.
Awesome video as always, I really enjoy watching your lore videos.
Just want to point something out though:

Yeah, honestly, this game takes place so far in the future that Earth’s landmasses are radically different from anything we see now.
Did anyone else get a pen and paper and write to the best of their ability "swaz do lah" because it appears as if we've been spelling it wrong and it's more "swahz do lah"
i always enjoy these videos, keep up the good work
Ha! I knew Kasachstan would be a safehaven in case of an apocalypse!
I have been following you for a while and can I just say I have enjoyed every lore video you have done to this point. This is also the first time I've commented I know you stress that Loki is your favorite but I was wondering what was your first Prime frame and what was the first frame you made?
That they make you work your ass off for shit thats barely affordable ....thats what i learned few days after i got on warframe
See you next year
Wow! Amazing
Huh. Didn't know the Corpus could show up in Cetus.
Side question: What is the Unum? Is it the name of the neural sentry in the Orokin Tower?
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I've got the feeling we'll have more answer about this when the Sacrifice finally comes out.
I love the warframe lore
I NEED MORE LORREEEE I MUST KNOW MOREEEE
Thank you
wait up the Corpus where a section of the orkin
Interesting how they still praise the Orokin as gods even if probably just by old tradition in a very neutral respectful manner when they would abuse their power so often until the end of it as the Warframes and tenno wiped them out
I wish I could find Sigor Savah's house on Cetus
poor cetus is on a weird timezone compared to the rest of the planet

ye.... hope we get something ^^
but what do you think he (a data based beeing) will do with kuva ?
