Here’s my thought on firing at warp speeds it’s ALWAYS possible. The issue is the stability of warp and the power drain. In the TOS and TMP era general power output and warp fields weren’t as robust as they are by TNG so for safety sake they don’t far at warp since best cause scenario you throw yourself out of warp if you fire.
im just not a big fan of the oberth, because i think other ships like the miranda did the modular ship design better. At least it's cheap and it would of been a good testing ship for stuff like fully automated systems that are slaved to a much larger ship.
Yeah, and I believe that's in the lure, as well as it was a test bed for technology. No, definitely, the Miranda is much better. But the ship is cheap.
I still wouldn't want one defending my colony or outpost in TMP era😅 Ok, ok, *maybe* the torpedo boat version would be alright.
