    Thank you for your courage, so many never have this opportunity to speak these truths. Bless you. Much respect for your bravery. This is a heroic act, real “poetic” justice, stunning and awakening, may this be shared in assemblies everywhere.

    Chanel you have done a good job after the fact to say the least. You have to give yourself permission to forgive yourself. And the same goes for your sister. Know that your suffering was converted towards a greater good. It is perfectly okay to be sad without being angry you also just have to give yourself permission. Anger and intimacy cannot coexist. And to expand on that that is precisely what is wrong with the lack of unification and communication of a the people of our nation and world.

    I am not a professional, but I do see this from a personal perspective. No therapist needs to tell me. I can see looking back decades to the origin of my sense of guarding, my general lack of trust. As I was listening to this reading, probably thinking what a lot of other people think , along the lines of how can she be so traumatized, why can't she get over it? Then I realized hang on... my assault was at Age 4. I am now 70. It's not that I can't get over it. It's that it changed me. I will never know who I would have been. That's the tragedy.

    As a Man of The Most High it is deeply saddening that the victims in this perverted world is always treated with suspicion. Non millenated people feel intitled from birth over mellinated people.May Yahuah continue to restore you.

    • @MsAppassionata
      @MsAppassionata 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      KYA Beloved 🙄 What does that have to do with anything? I’m sure she didn’t write the book in order to get rich. Smh.

    • @kyabeloved84
      @kyabeloved84 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You know her personally or your just trying to sound more compassionate than me? It took 50 years to speak of my assault. Most women who are assaulted cannot speak of it. This kid reads it from a book like it's nothing. I cant hear it with out emotion. So yeah I think it's for cash. Smh

    • @MsAppassionata
      @MsAppassionata 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      KYA Beloved Everyone reacts to things differently. You don’t know her personally either and It surprises me that you would speak against her instead of giving her your support. I believe that more women should speak out against their own sexual assault instead of remaining silent, no matter how painful that is. To do otherwise gives credence to the notion that the women are somehow partially responsible for their own victimhood and that’s just wrong. I’m sure that, given the choice, she would have preferred not being attacked over being raped and making money out of it. Did it ever occur to you that one of the reasons she chose to speak out on the matter might have been because she wanted to make it easier for other victims to come forward? Honestly, I find it disheartening that you would take the time to attack her instead of the monster who raped her. Smh.

      Were you in the worlds eye getting shit on and having people around the world judging you. I'm not taking away from what happened to you but I couldn't talk about it either but it wasn't forced into the public eye where people said things about me everyday

      How dare u put someone down who speaks of her assault? She could be on 5 hits of heroin for all u know. Yet rather than supporting her and others who speak out who wanna silence her? Shame on u! U r part of the problem!

    Amy, could we please hear Brock's side of the story? No one has done that, which I feel is extremely unfair, especially because this girl is capitalizing on something she doesn't even remember. From everything that I have read about, this case, this girl never said no, does not remember a thing and those who DO remember what happened that night all say that the interaction between her and Brock was extremely amorous - and when she went to the hospital there was NO evidence that she was raped. The Swedish dudes just walked up as they were making out and made an assumption, so they called the cops and it snowballed from there.
    Chanel is playing a victim because she regrets what she did BECAUSE SHE WAS CHEATING ON HER BOYFRIEND.......I do not think she is "courageous", "strong" or anything else - she is making bank writing about something that she doesn't remember because she has to continue this charade to save face.

      in the full statements the men on bikes noticed her unconscious figure, and there was damage to her vxgina. she was drunk, and that is never, nor will it ever be consent. she may have not said no, and according to brock and brock only, she supposedly said ‘yes’ and that was it, she could not form any other sentence. legally drunk people can not give consent, so even if she said yes, it was still assault. you don’t need to believe chanel, but you will NEVER have the right to invalidate stories of survivors.

      This is Brock posting under a pseudonym right? No one else could think Brock’s side of the story hasn’t been heard numerous times and accepted as exoneration despite the fact that it doesn’t even make sense. Hint: not saying no does not equal consent. A girl should be able to go out and drink without ending up being digitally raped and then blamed for it.

    Thank you for having the courage and strength to tell your story. You ARE a shining light to those who have and who will suffer the horrors of sexual assault. Everyone involved in the offensively light sentence that monster recieved should be ashamed of themselves and never be allowed anywhere near a sexual assault case again. I hope you can find happiness in this life that will help heal some of the anguish you have suffered and that your sister let's go of the guilt that was never her burden to bear.
