I love that yellow chair at the dining table. Reminds me of growing up and grabbing random extra chairs when you need another seat at the table.
yesss return of the struggle counters! i love "real" builds like this one... like, we can daydream but a lot of life is just dealing with what you have and making things better as you go. And it feels SO GOOD when you're finally able to overcome. In my games I still do cheats once in a while, but yeah, it can get booooring to have it all laid out for you.
That blue carpet is so accurate. I had blue carpet in the trailer i grew up in. My current bedroom has wood paneling

I love this! The blue carpet and the vinyl flooring is how I grew up. It feels so realistic, like home and happiness; making do with what we had.
I SOOOOOO LOVE this trailer home!! It looks amazing, amazing, AMAZING! I especially love the outside of the house, like what you did with the landscaping and the big tree and the outdoor hang out area with the water balloons and the AC (or what is it? like those things at the end of the trailer. I love it when people add stuff like that to the builds because it makes them look like real world buildings).
I 10000% agree with you on that it'd be awesome to have more dingy-looking items in the game, and perhaps also wall textures (and floors?). Like, I'd love me some dingy-looking brick. Or maybe just some stain type wall decorations to put on walls. And items, in the game they get soiled or broken but once they're broken they're like broken-broken, unusable - but I'd love just some kind of, idk,
I'd also love much more bathtubs which also have a shower head. I always want a bathtub as well as a shower but I don't want to place two bc that's excessive (where I live people tend to have just one bathroom no matter how many people are in the house, I personally think that more than one bathroom for a 4-person family is excessive! but I suppose depends on the standards you're used to... idk, I like sharing space with other people) BUT I only have like 3 bathtubs with showers, even though I have most of expansion packs (I have hardly any stuff packs, that's true, so maybe there's more of this kind of item in other packs? idk)
Lol sorry this is such a long comment! Anyway, I lovelovelove what you did with this building. It's one of my favourite speed builds I've watched like ever. And the Oasis Springs location just fits it perfectly. This lot is really like an oasis of green and watching this made my evening so nice.
I know that you say that you're not the best builder but I enjoy you're one of the only builders that I enjoy watching! The video is slow enough to follow, easy enough for beginners and helps me to know that I can get better at building so please don't stop! We fellow simmers love to see your building as well as storytelling ❤️

This is a nice starter home. I love playing where my sims start at the bottom.
I am a mom as well I have 2 boys and I swear they try to put me in the grave early. Boys are fearless and do the most outrageous things, jumping off stuff, climbing high. Lol
I loved this build so much, the vibes, I can feel them! The family that lives here has so much character, I really felt like the build encompassed that vibe so much. Keep up the great work Oshin, and never forget, I always love your builds! They’re GORGEOUS!
Oasis Springs is one of my favourite world's and this little house fits perfectly! Loved hearing about the family too. I'm a Mum to two (now YA) girls- my hubby was the one outnumbered in our house 😊

The way u build is so chill every sim u build is so pleasing or jsut chill and stunning I just want your techniques everything 7 do is aetshetic
I love this build. I wish we had more used stuff too. I wouldn't mind an entire stuff pack based around used furniture, clothes, and gameplay too. It could add a new lot type where you can start your own thrift store or visit one. They would add a feature in where clothes, items and everything started to wear down over time. You can either choose to fix the items or sell them to a thrift store and replace the item for cheaper than you paid for the original. You would basically using what you got from the thrift store for your item or clothes. I think if you have eco lifestyle they would add a feature to the wood working table to refurbish your own furniture and make it new or improve the quality even. I don't know how difficult this would be, but I'd love to see it work like that or something similar. :)

Love this 💕 and I totally relate to the all girls. We haven't had a boy in the family since my dad, daughters and nieces run everything 😭 i didn't realize a lot of people expect a mixture until seeing others gameplay and theres always at least one boy and one girl. I usually always influence the pregnancies to sway one or the other haha your progression and thought process is so nice to watch with building 💛
I have 3 boys. I want a girl so bad but I'm terrified of having four boys running around the house.

i love more lower income "lived in" builds!!! i spent many years living in kind of dingy apartments with my single mom and it just feels more realistic to me!! i'm not a great builder so i'll often download apartments and houses off the gallery and i always have to like, de-suburbanize them lmao
I love the classic feel of the interior so much. I like to use builds that don’t look new and too curated bcos it adds that coziness to my gameplay ☺️

my dad's the only guy in my household ouo it was just my mom, my sister and i growing up and my dad was the only guy - he slowly got used to it and bowed to our demands jk we love our dad and he treated us out to expensive meals like on mothers day and our birthdays and Valentines day etc. so yeah he's like 'these are my women dammit and no one messes with them' cause my dad was never an outgoing guy anyway, he understood us pretty well probably because he was out-numbered lol

I too lived in a paneled house 🏠 during this build I was thinking I really like this. Then you put the breadbox where that was the only open place to prepare a meal... the rest of the video I kept repeating ok where will she be able to get meals ready... 😀💘

I’ve never found a save file I like because I don’t own all the packs so a lot of the sims end up naked :/ but I blame ea because the base game clothes and furniture look bad too so I see why people use a lot of packs in their saves.

3 kids - boy/girl/boy - elder 2 I was a teen/young mum - 17 with the oldest, 21 & 6 weeks with my daughter. Youngest son from a second marriage. Older boy married to his childhood sweetheart & has 3 girls, daughter has boy/girl/boy! Like me the elder 2 are same dad, unlike her own father though he was a deadbeat piece of *&^&^%$£! Her younger boy is a different Dad who has adopted her elder 2 and is a wonderful Dad, husband & son in law. My younger boy is a lot younger, he's only 5 years older than my eldest grandson & is at uni with no plans to settle down for many years yet. He's also gay and unsure if he even wants kids one day. As long as he is happy with the choices he makes that's all that matters.
