this is so inspiring to me, i feel like move-in ready homes are more playable than super cluttered builds that were popular on simstube (all respect to those though too, they have their place in peoples' playstyles)
I don’t like a bunch of clutter either. I have one small green plant in my apartment. The thing that makes my place feel cozy is my blankets. Do you know how some people go ham with plants in their builds? If we had throw blankets in the game I’d have them everywhere lol. As far as the other home goes, maybe a reclusive writer lives there?
I think we are the same person. I'm married w 2 children (10 and 5) and I don't know what living alone would be like and this build was so refreshing I love neutrals and muted colors as well as wood tones. I also only decorate with plants and candles. Very minimalistic. Glad I came across your channel.
This was so fun and chill. And I also really enjoyed hearing your thought process as you were furnishing. I am so not a clutter person irl, and I've been renting so long I feel like I have no idea anymore how to even personalize a space anymore. So hearing you talk through what might be helpful where, and why, was a good reminder of all the things I tend to leave out of my sims builds that just leave them looking empty and sad. Especially since your vibe is also kind of minimalist, rather than filling every surface with something. Also: I will hear no slander against that Season's bed. It's seriously my fave too, because it just looks so dang comfy. My only wish is that it had more swatches.
I love this build me personally I have a mix style because one day my builds will have a lot of clutter and some others will have minimal or I'll go black and white... but this build just screams home sweet home to me. It's cozy, comfortable, simple and has a sense of security to it . Yasss 👏🏾

Lol I recently furnished my room irl with IKEA stuff: white vanity + stool, mirror is mostly white with some silver accents, and a white dresser + matching nightstand 😄 My goal is to add some pops of color in the decor, but I really like it - I’m definitely a fan of the clean/minimal/white look. Anyway! I also wanted to mention that I mostly use the gallery for already furnished builds, and it wasn’t until watching your Love Sick series that I realized I’m missing out on a lot of gameplay by not starting with an empty home as if my sims just moved in. So I’m setting up the Perfect Life Challenge and chose a starter home and have a bunch of moving boxes and minimal furnishing as if the single dad and toddler just moved in and I’m really diggin’ it 😄, so thank you for that idea! Love the realism it brings.

I didn't know this pouf from Snowy Escape came in such beautiful swatches! I never considered going through them because the default swatch is just not for me. I thought the other ones were the same cute face thing with a leaf under it but in different colors. I'm mindblown :D

@@Mz23vehrzed Even easier if you just download them off gallery. So, you don't have to scroll through debug items to find the modern ones already sized right. There are also motorcycles in gallery too.

I can so totally relate, I don't like clutter and I'm at my best when my space is clean, organized, and minimalized; in and out of game 😄😉. I am actually the type of simmer that builds and creates and actually from the most simplistic to the most lavish styles and what brings me the most enjoyment when I do play Sims 4. Unfortunately it's been quite some time since I've been back in gameplay, my daughter downloaded The Sims 4 from our home pc, it was her account, onto her laptop, and now I'm really hopeful that I could take advantage of the base game that's going to be free October 18th. Can you please let me know if I will be able to do that? I really look forward to that because I have so many families and builds created on her account and often times experience anxiety and stress because I just really would like to start over with absolute simplicity; you get me, right. All right I look forward to viewing more of your videos, I'm not a new subscriber I just haven't ever taken the time to sit down to look at any of your videos, nothing personal just busy in general, but I have been missing going on Sims for a while and your newest video popped up which I did look at already and I will go and like it now; the Four Brothers are awesome! This is always a tricky suburban area to build in because it's a mix of urban sprawl and traditional houses. So, these builds fit in pretty good. Not too vintage and not too modern as well as realistic looking.

I think the house is super cute, actually. It's minimalist and realistic. :) I love building in Newcrest and filling up the neighborhood with houses.
