You can practically hear Scarecrow rolling his eyes. :D
I love how all these villains never call themselves by their 'villain names' they always use first names or second names to address each other, I don't know, it just goes to show how in some ways they're all connected...mainly for their hatred of Batman
This might be my favorite version of the Riddler. It's so ironic; he genuinely is a super genius, but he's so insecure about it that he's constantly trying to PROVE it, and that makes literally everyone in the series AND the audience view him as an overrated annoyance. If he just chilled, he'd honestly get WAY more respect. And the voice is PERFECT.
Scarecrow uses fear against the Riddler in such a subtle manner. Rather than using threats as a normal person would, he toys with Nygma's fear of failure to convince him to join. It really proves that Scarecrow truly is the ultimate Master of Fear.
I'm surprised Scarecrow was so patient with Riddler.
Suddenly the claw marks on his shirt make sense.
I love how he went from wearing suits and having his cane to looking frail and having his costume made from clothes he found and his cane from a pipe. They did a great job of showing how he really lost just about everything after being captured in Arkham City.
Gotta love Scarecrow's completely deadpan tone throughout that tape.
You can see how even though The Riddler is smarter than Scarecrow(debatable), yet Scarecrow was able to convince Nigma, simply by psychoanalysing him, and taking advantages of his mental pathologies, like batman said, Megalomania, obsessive behaviour, etc, by saying stuff Nigma wants to hear, like “yes Edward you’re right, I know Edward, you’re smarter than me and batman, yet all was part of Scarecrow’s plan to convince him, shows the psychologist side of Scarecrow.
"Sorry Eddie, it's just I have all these clients who aren't insecure little power-mad man children" Damn, she nailed that one XD
"Ha! I don't HAVE an ego, Crane. I'm far too brilliant. Especially for the likes of you".
"HA. I don't HAVE an ego Crane."
"You're appealing to my ego!"
Crane: "How kind of you Edward, I'll keep my fingers crossed."
"Oh Catwoman. Your wit never ceases to... occur."
Man, between, "I don't have an ego, I'm too brilliant", to " basking in my luminescent glow ", and " I have so many clients who aren't egotistical power hungry man children", really Selina's entire handling of Nigma, I'm pretty sure these are my favorite audio files in the series!
it's funny that at the moment catwoman was captured, he immediately shows his ego in response to what catwoman said a minute earlier
I love The Riddler so damn much.
In Arkham games Nygma sounds like an uttermost pesky sociopathic Sheldon Cooper xD
Fun fact, Wally Wingert who plays Riddler also plays Jon Arbuckle.
