Not really I completed volume 3 which my mom gave me as a little gift and I enjoyed radiant black's rogues gallery and the origin of radiant yellow was cool too it is a tradition of radiant black books to have a origin story as their last chapter and now I have to buy volume 4 and volume 5 is going to be amazing because it covers crisis part 1 it is coming out on 2024 February or March and also I would like to hear your thoughts and expectations on radiant black and massive verse and have heard about rogue sun which is set in the same universe in which radiant black exists and their other books and I want to check them out too
@@ThulasiShinto nice! Yeah I’ll need to try to get vol 3. The only other book I’ve read in this universe I read a few issues of Dead Lucky. Great art and interesting premise but I didn’t enjoy it as much as radiant black! Thanks for watching
Highly recommend that and Gieger, they’re both in the same comic universe. I reviewed both on the channel but the reviews have some spoilers. Sincerely hope you enjoy!
I love Flashpoint Beyond! I made a vid about that comic, paired with Bunny Mask. I’m gonna read the first Flashpoint soon. I have that Supergirl, but I haven’t read it yet. I want to read Batman Killing Time soon. Bilquis did great artwork on the Shaft comics. I’ll check out Junkyard Joe!! It looks powerful. Reminds me of Michael Golden’s brilliant artwork on Nam. I recently enjoyed Man-Goat and The Bunnyman from Zenescope and Robin and Batman by Lemire. Awesome books. Great vid! 👍🏻📘📘📘📘✨✨✨✨✨
I agree with a lot of your titles Junkyard Koe, Supergirl and Moonknight. Supreme Power, Tomasi’s Superman, Stray Dogs and Southern bastards are on my list too… Merry Christmas 🎄, Dominick.
I think the best book ive read this year had to be Guerillas by Brahm Revel, and I think everyone should try and read that book because I think its one of my all time favorites. Its an absolutely amazing book that is truly underrated.
I have to admit as a non spawn fan I love the gunslinger spawn volumes and the Scorched has some good team development and easy for a someone who doesn't necessarily know what has happened. Happy to see you enjoyed the Moonknight run, Batman Beyond Neo Year and the Flashpoint Beyond they were pretty good and read a lot out them this year. I will say this, Tom King doesn't know Thomas Wayne so happy the character gets a way better story and life in this run.
I highly recommend the Micronauts omnibus! It drops in February. Brilliant series. Marvel must have worked out a deal with Hasbro to share the rights. I have all the single issues.
Not a fan of Tom King and Woman of Tomorrow doesn't change it for me, just another horrible miniseries on a character that King simply doesn't even try to understand, it still baffles me that Gunn wanted to bring Supergirl on the big screen and instead of using Peter David's run as a blueprint chose a mini-series that everybody forgot after it was published. Instead Joker's Asylum is top quality, i'm a bit sad that they didn't use another cover since the one we see shows only the villains of the second mini-series but this is my only complaint, a lot of these stories are among the best stories featuring these rogues (like Penguin, Mad Hatter, Killer Croc and Clayface) and some others are just meh like the Two-Face or Riddler (still miles better than the horrible One Bad Day Riddler that is the worst Riddler story ever). If like me you guys have been let down by the shitty One Bad Day stories read this volume, you're not gonna be disappointed
Fair enough to each their own. I loved woman of tomorrow but I’ve heard amazing things about David’s run too-I have yet to have an opportunity to read that one. And yeah Joker’s Asylum had some tremendous stories in it without a doubt
What were some of your favorite comic book paperbacks this year? 🤔📚📚📚
In this format, probably X-Men God Loves Men Kills. An absolute gem
What an incredible X-men story! One of my absolute favorites
Wow I love radiant black and I am glad you loved it too it is a Masterpiece
It’s been really fun so far! I definitely need to catch up though :)
Are you current/up to date?

OK thanks for replying
I've never heard of Junkyard Joe before. Gonna check this out. Thanks!

You should just check out the whole Unamed universe. Its all pretty good.

Nice! And yeah stray dogs is a memorable one for sure! 👏
Merry Christmas to you as well my friend 👏🎉
Always love more paperback love! I’ll always opt for trades over omnis unless it’s a super long run that would be cheaper in an omni format.

Yeah I’m not sure if this makes sense but I enjoyed Flashpoint Beyond as a Thomas Wayne story and maybe not as much as a successor to Flashpoint
@@TheComicBookReport I can see that. I meant that this feels more natural than the City of Bane Events for Thomas.
@@calebmetcalfe6998 totally! Yeah I liked that story arc but definitely took things in a much darker direction
For Lemire's Moonknight there is a deluxe edition of it
Oh great to know thank you!
I’m hoping someday we get a modern day moon knight omnibus with that run and some of the other smaller runs together 🌙
