Phenomenal collection! I can certainly relate to the lack of space and I don’t even own a tenth of your collection. My stuff is mainly "nomal" books, some comic trades and the handful of omnis I’ve started this year. I’ll need some proper shelf to get it going 😄
@@TheComicBookReport while I like both, I incline to DC quite a bit, so that’s majority of my trades/HCs. Probably the Batman essentials there, Long Halloween was my first proper comic and it may still be my favourite Sort of trying to have my omni journey as a way to get into Marvel more, so far all four of them are Marvel pieces. Really enjoyed Daredevil from Bendis and looking forward to more of that.
@@TheComicBookReport Yeah, I’m trying to not have too specific goals with omnis as it’s kinda fluid, depending on what is available, reprinted, obviously space and money options, but Daredevil is definitely that one thing I’m really intriqued by and eventually wanna collect all the essentials. I have no desire myself to buy single issues but, while this is my first year of seriously collecting collected editions and don’t have as big a collection obviously like you, I'm interested in sharing this journey and trying to collect what I want. I’m glad you’ve discovered the world of collected editions! A great way to read and collect comics I’ve always felt. What have been some of your favorite comic pick-ups so far this past year? 📚
@TheComicBookReport Yeah, I really feel that way too. Some of my favorites... There's the first two compendiums of The Walking Dead, Green Lantern: Rebirth/Flash: Rebirth, both by Geoff Johns, Batman: Black Mirror, Superman '78 if just by pure love for the first two movies and how it continues from there, I have the 80 years collection of Joker and 75 years collection of Lois Lane, both of which try and highlight major single issues for the characters over the years if you didn't know and I think they make pretty good editions on the history of a single character. Another big highlight though must be the first 4 volumes of Mighty Marvel Masterworks' Amazing Spider-Man containing the first 38 issues of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's original run and I'm seriously considering getting the fifth volume for Christmas with the start of John Romita on art.
@ excellent, excellent list here! I still need to check out Superman ‘78! If you enjoyed Green Lantern Rebirth I highly recommend the entire GL run from Johns. It’s a masterpiece. I’ve been meaning to try to get the omnibus editions but I’ve yet to order
