SOLVED ON ACCIDENT: Accident or Murder? (Kareem Tisdale)

  • Tisdale was last seen in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 16, 2005. He walked out of a residence and has never been heard from again. That is, until our team in conjunction with Sunshine State Sonar, found an Oldsmobile on January 6, 2024, in a retention pond at Sawgrass Mills Shopping Mall in Sunrise, Florida.
In this heart-stopping episode, we accidentally solve the missing persons case of Kareem Tisdale while working other missing person cases in southern Florida with Sunshine State Sonar.
    ACCIDENT or MURDER?...
When looking at Sunshine State Sonar's Facebook Post, their comment section really lit up from those who knew Kareem. Some do not believe this to be an accident. You can read and comment on SSS FB Page your thoughts.

    🚨 The Unexpected Unveiled
While navigating the complexities of 37 unresolved cases in South Florida alongside the dedicated team at Sunshine State Sonar, our paths were unexpectedly diverted. Tasked with the search for Libby Debent, who vanished without a trace in her '96 Toyota Camry, we stumbled upon a revelation that would unfold a narrative we never anticipated.
    🚗 A Car, A Mystery, A Life Remembered
In the proximity of the Sawgrass Mills Shopping Center, a submerged story awaited. Not the car we were searching for, but another, holding within it the remains we never expected. Amid the silt and shadows, a vehicle no one expected, its shattered windshield and crumpled roof.
Within this submerged car, we discovered the unexpected. Not Libby Debent, but potentially another soul who had slipped beyond the veil of memory, Kareem Tisdale. Though certainty evades us until confirmation is secured, the discovery of a shoe and unsettlingly, what appeared to be human remains within, casts a somber light upon our find.
    💔 The Emotional Odyssey
Words scarcely capture the whirlwind of emotions enveloping us as we grappled with the reality of our find. Not the answers we sought, but perhaps answers for another. The solemn reminder of our mission's weight and the unpredictable nature of our searches underscored every moment.
At first, we were told that there were 3 sets of human remains inside, but it was weeks later that there was only a single set.
    🤝 A Call to Unity
In the depths of Miami's waters, we were reminded of the unpredictability of life and the threads of hope that bind us. Each search, each discovery, is a step toward unraveling the mysteries that haunt the hearts of those left behind.

Not everyone has the privilege to live in/own a residence with a garage, maybe he had his car parked a distance away from the residence, as many people do as parking fees/parking permits/rented spot on apartment parking lots are often extremely price-y. I’m sure that even if they didn’t do anything else (wouldn’t surprise me, considering how little the police cared about a car being found in a location with two different cases associated with it, and those two cases were non-black women plus children), the cops would’ve at least checked who the car was registered to. Murders of black men are often going unnoticed because resources are denied to their cases though, so it’s natural and important to take every possibility into account.

Stay safe, my prays are with y'all and each and every family. Having easter without my sister is so very hard, but honestly i understand. i just found out i have cancer and there is nothing they can do and my older sister said today please dont think of nothing dumb, i smiled and said never, she doesn't believe me, because i always talked about if i ever got sick,as she cried on the phone i told her i could never do anything like that because of everything i watch with y'all and no matter what its not fear to my loved ones

I'm thrown here. It seems there is a major lacking with pd & Fire departments where it seems they don't put a sonar search effort into finding cold cases in the water. Very 😔 sad. But, I do have to say that all these missing person cases where the person and car go missing the only organization that have found all these cold cases is the Adventure with purpose group...😮🎉🎉🎉. Thank God for them !

I agree with you.. but to be fair to them - most towns, and even few cities have the resources to equip let alone train/maintain dive teams.
Most police work is conducted on dry land, so police budgets would have to dedicate a disproportionate amount of funds to a relatively niche operation.
The area I am in maintains regional water rescue units - for two great lakes, the Niagara River, Gorge rescue and covers 9-12 townships/cities and the Niagara Parks Commission.
What type of sonar/radar if any they use isnt common knowledge.
Gorge rescue is particularly expensive and dangerous - even simple extractions easily run into the $10s of thousands of dollars, more complicated extractions with serious injuries can easily climb above $100k.
Groups like adventures with purpose fill a niche that govts really cannot do. Paying professional dive teams and sonar operators to search every body of water two or three times a year would quickly stress already tight budgets. Skilled "amateurs" doing this "recreationally" that are privately funded solve these issues.

Sonar can seriously harm marine animals. Be sure to use it sporadically and allow for escape pools from sonar. Find a person, but damage a marine biome required for future life. With great power comes great responsibility.
