I've recently switched from my good old BOSS RC-1 to a RC-500, and I've been using the 2-bar percussion track a lot! And since I only have 2 tracks, I use the UNDO function to turn on and off the tambourine shaker etc (things you usually put on your track 3). Your videos help me improve my workflow! As you've said in some past video, a loopstation is kind of an instrument itself, it takes time to master.
It looks so easy and effortless when you knock out a song just like that. Awesome. I wonder how long it takes ´till you got the song under your belt to loop/performe it with that feeling and emotion. Absolutely outstanding.

Emily I think your fantastic! I love how quick you established your loops. I have a question. Track 1 you press to start recording and then press again to stop recording 1bar. Track 2 you only started the recording? Track 3 you started and stopped recording 1 bar. So is track 2 length pre programmed for 8bars? or did it stop when track 3 was started? 🤔
Yes exactly - very good eye! It’s only gonna record on one track at a time. So to save time, I can start recording on the next track to simultaneously stop recoding on a previous one. If I can I like to do that because then there’s no time wasted in the playback. But if I need a sec to transition, or if I have to put down a noisy tambourine, I will take a beat to stop the recording on one track before I dive into the next one 👍
You make the sequence seem easy. I don’t think I could create loops and have them play at different parts of the song live unless I using Ableton Live.
