Love the reviews. I build the super duty trucks and expeditions here in kentucky. Its awsome to see them getting worked like theyre built for. The front half of the frame of the expedition is the same as the f150. Theyre far heavier duty than most people would think.
Thinking about going from an 04 8.1/4.10 2500 Suburban to one of these, the detail in your towing experience is appreciated! I wholeheartedly agree with the wind factor, I’ve wished I had a couple feet more wheelbase towing that giant sail behind me. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience l.
I have an 05 Burb Z71 4x4 and it does everything i need including overlanding. It’s cheap ownership is a plus. I just like looking at the new shiner things I can’t afford. Im curious about the long term ownership of the ecoboost when its outside of warranty.
Great video, tons of useful information thanks man. And you are 100% accurate when refueling don’t know what it is about that obviously saving money but it’s more than that man. I love it pulling away from the pump when I save 3040 $.50 a gallon I have the expedition max as well.
Wind is bad here in Oklahoma like every damn day. I tow a 6,000lb 30’ Jayco travel trailer with a 2021 F150. You are spot on about the wind. Just makes it stressful and I even have a Hensley hitch. The truck is just too light. The ecoboost pulls like a beast though. Pretty sure I’m a good candidate for the 250 with the 7.3. I think that would fit my setup perfect. Thoughts?

I wouldn’t get rid of the burb. You can add the Ford tho.
