This is such a fascinating video! I love watching Favorites videos! They make me wanna get stuff or make stuff for myself and just inspire me to use the space I have for more things
Definitely recommending What Milo Saw by Virginia Macgregor. The paperback comes out on the 13th. It's about a little boy with a visual impairment whose grandmother is moved to a nursing home after a fire. It's all about how different people view the world and also deals with things like loss of family and the war in syria. It's a really beautiful contemporary. Also for a quick read Soppy by Philippa Rice, a graphic novel about her relationship with her boyfriend and how the littlest things make the biggest impact on our lives.
What a FASCINATING video! I would love to see some specific book videos, maybe on your favourite books ever because you always suggest such great reads. The Manifesto on How to Be Interesting is such a great book and I think it really deals with important themes, but is still fun. Love your vids xx
+Hannah Witton I know I would! But if you don't think it will go down well then I'll just keep looking forward to your monthly favourites for book ideas : )
Books: Looking For Alaska, If I Stay, and Before I Fall (although I suspect you may have come across them all already). Finished them all in the space of a single week TV: Again I'm a bit late here, but HUMANS, the series about AI. 'Twas a fantasia series, and really fascinating (gave me some new interests in philosophy to explore). Film: Inside Out, again a really great feel-good film. Absolutely worth watching a second time.
Ah was just about to buy her new book today but subbed for a different one at last minute.would totally reckoned all the bright places as a must read x
Alice Dent Please don't, Maybelline test on animals. I'm sure you can find a similar colour from someone like NYX, Australis or Urban Decay (companies who do not test on animals) :)
I wore a thing like that (it wasn`t a fascinator because you had to tie it, but I still had a giant flower on my head ) when I was in high school and everyone made fun of me, they still mock me to this day, IT'S BEEN 8 YEARS PEOPLE, GET OVER IT! Anyway, beautiful fascinator Hannah, I love it.
I've just finished reading the manifesto on how to be interesting, I really loved it and agree with what you said, I do wish it had a trigger warning though as some parts I thought could trigger some people but overall I really enjoyed it and I've just bought am I normal yet do will read that soon!
I would love to support you on Patreon Hannah as you are my favourite content creator. I'll have to see how much I can squeeze out of my student budget!
You should definitely read "man at the helm" by Nina stibbe! It's such a funny and cleverly written book I love it so much!! Such a good video as always! You are definitely my favourite youtuber! Love you Hannah xxx p.s What a FASCINATING video! xx
I love a manifesto on how to be interesting 😍 it’s probably my new favourite book! I just got to the part where bree is sent to hospital for self harm x
Book suggestion; try The Rosie Project, it's a refreshing take on chick lit. I loved it and I'm currently reading the sequel. Music suggestion; Adam Lambert's new album. It's got a clubbing vibe and I recommend it for predrinks music. Loving your monthly favourites, I don't normally watch this type of video but I always enjoy yours. I think it's cause you tell us a little story about it or your feelings towards something rather than all the retail info, its rather nice :) x
I was literally just in a book shop choosing between am I normal yet? and the manifesto on how to be interesting before I watched this! (I chose the former)
Hannah I love your tote bag, and I really want to purchase it, but is PayPal really the only payment option? :( I won't be able to get one if that's the case, since I don't own a credit card
I've been trying to get my hands on The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting since I first heard about it last year. Still haven't succeeded. Speaking of books, have you read The Lover's Dictionary by David Leviathan? I got a feeling that you may like it :)
I absolutely love those shoes. Anyone knows if they have a name so I can maybe look for them on Ebay or something? I looked on Zara's app and didn't seem to find them :( Great video by the way, this is one of the best channels on YT in my opinion. I love your content Hannah it's really refreshing 😘
Hannah! My fave and something that should be your fave is Broadly which is a new channel created by Vice. If you go on the website they have videos and documentaries about the abortion pill and interviews with women who are amazing. You'll love it! Definitely check it out because they've just started.
HANNAH the ONE THING about your videos is you always use the same background music! It doesn't take away from the quality of the content but it'd be nice to not hear the same music every time we see your lovely face. There's loads of royalty-free music on the interwebz, you don't necessarily have to pay to make your videos sound cool. Love ya!
You don't need a fascinator to be fascinating (awww). I know a few idiots. Does that mean they don't know what lipsticks look like? I mean, does not knowing what they look like makes you an idiot or is it the other way around? I'm so confused lol I'd recommend you Ex Machina. It's a great film about AI.
Please don't purchase products that are tested on animals Hannah! It is so easy to make the transition to cruelty free make up products. (Maybelline test on animals)
Thank you so much, this is SO COOL that you are interested in our music! THANK YOU for the shoutout!! :) x
Wasp Farm. A fascinating book about wasps. The 1963 edition also has a beautiful skip cover.
When I was younger I used to call fascinators attention seekers hahaha
