You can apply gold leaf to organza but I would not expect great results for something you're going to wear and launder. I would advise looking for a woven metallic organza fabric.

Excellent tutorial.............. Just wondering what protection is required if the gold leafed fabric needs washing?
I don't throw in the washing machine but will spot clean and also turn inside out and hand wash and hang dry.

Hi! Can this be done on bandage fabric that is a dress that has some stretch?
I'm not sure about that as the leaf will crack :(
