Thanks a lot for this great tutorial ! If you hold alt while selecting the units in the deployment menu, you can also deploy groups of different units at the same position (and as you said, you can then deploy this group multiple time with shift after that)
Supurb!! I was on the fence about this game. I wanted to know more features and gameplay elements to see if it might be a game for me. Vulcan's video was a huge help. I watched the whole video and learned a ton, so i decided to buy the game. Now I feel like I've already been introduced to the game and am ready to play. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
Only thing I noticed you forgot, hold control and press either 1-9 and you can hotkey units/unit groups so you switch to arty, resupply, special units in special locations and if you double tap the hotkey the camera jumps to that unit group
It works really well for coordinating a formation attack on a village and then fly in a bombing run to panic the enemy as your units start assaulting a position in unison
Thank you so much for this. I have Wargame and SD2 experience but still found a lot of useful info in this.:) About right clicking to engage with aircraft and arty: is it still preferable to target the ground/position in case the attacking unit looses vision of the target, or are they smarter about that now?:)
The tutorial was great thanks. I know a fair bit about the history of the Cold War and recent military history, so I had some idea what the various unit types did. This game is like a 2024 new car with no manual, given to someone in the 1980s!
Aaah just brought the game and this video has definitely spring boarded me into the game. Thank you so much for explaining everything so well. You have a new sub.
@@DaCatzBigga I have nothing to compare it too but I can absolutely say that I am struggling lmao. I need more tutorials for sure. I’ve got the controls down mostly, but not the strats

Superb tutorial!! I tried Solo after watching the tutorial. I put the computer AI at very easy and I got defeated!! My question to you is, how to find out who is calling for ammo and/or fuel without clicking on every single unit? Sometimes my units would just standstill and do nothing, so I clicked on Return Fire. Not sure if it's the proper way though. Thank you.

Hey! Amazing tutorial! Thanks for what you do! Just a question: do you plan to continue tutorial videos about Warno? Especially with some advanced tips like tactics, what counters what etc?
Thank you so much for the video! Helped to win the first match and not quit the game :) I have a few questions, maybe you will find time to answer. 1) What to do with a damaged tank (or other vehicle)? Can engineers fix it? If so, how to do it right? Do you move your tank backwards from the front line and repair in forest, or send an engineer to the frontline? 2) Is the line of sight (C) important in the AA system? Ddoes AA only see a fighter-helicopter fly in the field of view (visible by pressing C), or is C valid just only for ground combat? 3) Are AT-armed infantry (like panzerganaders) effective against tanks? Or maybe it’s better to buy cheap infantry unite and use them combine with a tank? 4) What is the purpose of recon units: to identify enemy movement and retreat, or should they make first contact? When an recon unit captures an enemy movement at the beginning of a game, what to do next: A) withdraw the recone unit and use it later to support your next attack; B) sell; C) leave it in a position for first contact? 5) How to use tanks correctly? Do you keep them in the frontline next to the infantry? Or you keep your tank away from the frontline (in the forests) and move in to the battle just when the fight begins? 6) If you knock down a fighter jet or a helicopter, do you immediately move your AA sistem to another position (in case the system is not destroyed by the enemy)? Or isn't that necessary and would it be just a waste of time? 7) I can't use helicopters yet - everyone was shot down in the first minutes without doing anything :) In what situations is it best to use helicopters? Do they need to be kept away from the frontline, hidden between the trees and raised to battle when ground units need support? Is there another effective way to use helicopters?
1) Bring in a supply truck and move it next to your tank. Preferably away from the frontline. 2) C key doesn't work well for elevation. Best way to check with AA is to select it and hover your target with the mouse. 3) Infantry AT is very weak at the moment but good for side shots and ambush tactics. If you go head on, bring support. 4) Depends on the squad, some squads are better for combat (bigger squads or armoured fighting vehicles) and others for just spotting (smaller squads and unarmed recon) 5) Generally want to keep your tanks in cover but well supported by infantry and AA. Only push the open when you know it's safe or you have critical mass and/or they have no counter. 6) Yes, move your AA after firing or it will be bombed, SEAD'd (in this case turn off your AA if it's radar too) or artied if the player is good. 7) Helicopters are good at ranged support and cleaning up breakthrough units. Keep them back, use rockets at max range and be prepared to fall back when a missile flies toward you. Hope this helps :)

First, I've waited years for a return of war game red dragon or something like it with its massive scale of playability but OMG what a letdown! Second, as in great movies, the sequel just can't live up to the first one. Finally, those who loved and played red dragon know what I'm talking about, however, thank you for trying!
Looks neat but currently its just a glorified demo not worth the price. Will wait and see if they can deliver but so far they don't even have features that were present in their previous titles. Wonder how it will stack up to the whole wack of other cold war games coming out these next 2 years.
Does anyone know what to do with empty logistics trucks & helicopters? The option to sell them once they're empty isn't there. I haven't tried doing the tactic of having a bigger supply unit in the rear, and using smaller ones to refill from it, yet. Just curious to hear what others do with them.

It's just too much weird stuff. Normal move should be a move to objective. Fire at will should be a normal toggle which is global for each unit regardless of these attack choices.
