FILM DESCRIPTION:
A young Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels to the Far East, where he's trained in the martial arts by Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson), a member of the mysterious League of Shadows. When Ducard reveals the League's true purpose -- the complete destruction of Gotham City -- Wayne returns to Gotham intent on cleaning up the city without resorting to murder. With the help of Alfred (Michael Caine), his loyal butler, and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), a tech expert at Wayne Enterprises, Batman is born.

@TheEndKing the news about batman using certain things he knew he created whilst fighting crime is how he knew Bruce is the vigilante.
One thing I think most people missed about Lucius is he sacrificed everything to do the right thing. Think about it. Why is a man this intelligent in the basement of Wayne Enterprise? Simple. He's there by choice. He could've quit Wayne after the death of Thomas and Martha and started working privately for anyone who would pay and be rolling in more money than he would know what to do with. But in the final movie, he reveals that he's been slowly consolidating his life's work to a smaller and smaller department where he could keep an eye on it and "keep it from falling into the wrong hands" (it's not his fault Bain found out Bruce's secret identity and stole the Tumblers). That's why we see him alone underground like this. He's been acting as a gatekeeper to keep his tech from hurting anyone.
Ask yourself how many men in the world would work this hard and, not only refuse the wealth, but the prestige that comes with everyone knowing how smart you are. This is ultimately why Bruce puts him in charge of his family's company. Only a person of his character could be trusted with it.

0:39 such a damn good line, really nice callback to their first conversation and building on this current one. This is how proper comedy is written into an otherwise "dark and gritty, realistic," movie. The more I rewatch these, the more I realize how funny and hopeful they actually are.

Morgan Freeman is probably the most hard working actor in the US today. He is everywhere. Classic drama, romantic comedy and every other type of movie. He is just magic when he is on screen.

the best line in the hwole film "Don't think of me as an idiot." a friend of mine was one of the white officers in Glory and he liked morgan freeman but said he had a way of saluting you when in uniform with a look in his eye that said "I'm saluting you but don't think you're better than me."

I love the backstory of the tumbler. This is one of the things you can't fully appreciate on the first watch. You just accept that Batman has this wicked black vehicle and don't question it. Its origin as a river jumping, bridge laying battle tank is something I've only fully realized today.
I love Christian bale and Morgan freeman. I have never watched batman yet lol....and I had no idea that freeman was in it too,I've GOT to watch it😮😮😮 and for a 2005 movie omg it looks beautiful I would have guessed it was 10 years younger🤗😎👍💙

In the real life Tumbler, when you’re driving it and it’s under its own power, it’s way too loud to communicate with anyone. There’s a video here on TH-cam talking about how loud it is. The rear end transmission is a big part of that. The tires were supposedly 500 lbs each.

I liked the scene where Bruce Wayne takes a mallet and hammers at the Tumbler's cargo door until it fits a briefcase.
Lucius Fox is a man of reason due his technical and scientific trades. He does approve what Wayne is doing as a Batman, we can see it easily in the famous threat scene where he explained the situation very clearly. So in his point of view, his client as a bilionare and as a most powerful man in Gotham chooses to fight with criminals with his bare hands in night, then he will do as much as he can to support him what he is doing. He also has solid moral and ethic rules where we saw at the end of second movie while using the device to track joker. He said Wayne to consider him as resigned if the device will be kept at wayne enterprise. So, he is the king of nerds with ethics. Of course, he will be a batman fan 🦇

Nolan just pick up the all star team for this Trilogy, such a beast cast... thats why this Trilogy will remain as the best ever made in history

One thing i hate in the Nolan movies is how all the bat-gear alread exists, and even worst, nobody misses it when Bruce takes it. Are there no cameras in Wayne Enterprises ? And ok, the suit and the gadgets could be put inside a case or the trunk of a car, but does no one sees the tumblr in the News and thinks : " Hey, that military Jeep looks like something W.E would build for the army. The police should definitly go interrogate someone about their inventory."
That literally happened in The Dark Knight.
@@Krexxal No, it isn't. The guy who put 2 and 2 togheter to find out about the batman isn't a tech engineer, he is an accountant. The only reason he realizes whats happening is because Lucius forces him to look for the money hole he left by giving Wayne Enterprises tech to batman without some good excuse for the toys to disapear. Nobody ever associates the tech with Wayne ever in the Nolan verse, and that is crazy for a "realistic" movie.
I mean RND was basically a Ghost Department and Fox spends his time making sure he has all control over it. So no. There isn’t anypne that would notice. And when someone does, as we see in TDK, they are wisely advised to stop noticing.

Nobody saw a tank living the W.E, even know it's literally in the comercial center of the City? And again, W.E makes millitary equipment, so where else woud a tank come from?

Which means nobody outside knows this department exists since it's closed due to Thomas Wayne death & the money used in this department is not shown in Wayne enterprises balance sheet, except for Earle who unfortunately doesn't know about Lucius fox inventions (who's doing it secretly)
& Applied sciences is just a dept for creating hardware for military (which like I said was closed unofficially)
