I’m glad that Nick Fury finally got his own action scene in the MCU.
Not bad for a guy that was in that KIA Super Bowl commercial.
@@Powerranger-le4up Most people won't get that lol.
Hey he got the cat scene too...his biggest nemesis.
Facts though. I'm glad he got one too
I'm guessing we'll see some action again (maybe) when he recruits Natasha.
This scene is always my favorite out of like all of the Marvel movies, like the pure action and not having superpowers just makes this scene 20 times better.
his superpower is being awesome
like
Best part hands down is the air conditioner part
+jmwFILMS Literally no one in this movie has superpowers bro. Cap and Bucky are "super soliders" but they mostly do normal hand-to-hand combat anyway. And also not many people in the MCU have superpowers anyway. The closest to having superpowers are just Hulk, Thor, Wanda, Vision, and Captain Marvel.
Man the entire group of mooks get slaughtered in one go
It's no surprise that Fury is being so cool under pressure. The air-conditioning is fully operational after all.

One thing I've always loved about this scene is that it underscores just how insanely badass Fury is. We are so used to seeing him as the "boss" of the heroes who he orders to do all the action, so you can forget just how much of a survivor and badass he is in his own right. Watching this, you know that the Avengers aren't being bossed around by an inexperienced bureaucrat, but a veteran ass kicker who has done a lot, seen a lot and knows a lot.
Yep true
Well said, chief.
he wears an eye patch...duh
We got a glimpse of his badass when he tried to shoot a fighter jet with a handgun. That was the Loki arrival scene in Avengers.
Yeah I wished we had gotten a Fury movie and they had told a story about his origins and how he got the eye but we got a Ginger mutant pussy in Captain marvel instead which sucked.
In this one scene we got to see exactly why Fury is _Fury_ , and I love this movie for that.

The greatest things about this scene:
- How unexpected the whole assault and ensuing action was
- Henry Jackman's incredible soundtrack
- How many aces Fury really has up his sleeve
- The unbelievable suspense, especially when the cop car starts backing up on Fury's car while more come and the whole battering ram sequence
- The dialogue between Fury and the car's computer

Not sure who said it when (Tony Stark in the Avengers lab scene?`) -- "he's a spy. Actually, he's *the* spy. Even his secrets have secrets". In this scene, it's like "even his aces have aces".
@warmachine8741 yeah, but MCU movies are pretty good at putting some humor into everything to break up what would otherwise be an overly lengthy action scene.
Also, remember the scene where Captain America tries to give orders to the cops in Avengers? Or Black Widow and Hawkeye going like "you and I remember Budapest very differently"? All these things help to keep the attention going, instead of viewers just waiting for the end of the fight.
Henry Jackman? The guy who did the Uncharted score?? Awesome!

Unlike every other villain in the mcu, these guys were quiet, well-equipped, and intimidating.
@@TheSuirad must of paid extra for the good minions
Sometimes being silent does alot more to characterize your villains than having them make an entire drawn out monologue.
True comic book form, the random goons from the head villian dont.speak. they just do their jobs.
The monologues come from their boss who the hero banters with before 1 on 1 fights while the goons watch.
This scene never gets old.
I saw this scene several times, but it occured to me only now how silly is the placement of "defensive measures". That gun popped up from inbetween two front seats. So if the car had both driver and passenger in front seat, they would be blocking shot in all directions expect towards front.
Yet for that gun to shoot from front window, you would need to sit in backseat to have good grip on its handle. So all in all it was very badly placed gun turret that could have worked only in this one very specific scenario.

Car: “Your entire transmission is destroyed. Your axle is split in two. There’s about $10,000 in damage”
Fury: “Nah, just reboot it’ll be fine”

"Air conditioning is fully operational." 😂
Still my most remembered quote from this movie 😊
As a black guy I can confirm, stuff like this happens all the time
The car is even marked Police which makes it funnier
Those damn cops
This is true brother 😭💀
They weren't police...
😂
SWAT team:*Breaks window*
Also SWAT team:”we would like to see your lease.”
Then they died.

We have been trying to reach you about your car extended warranty
what if... they did wanted to see the lease?
Sounds about par for American police.
*One of the coolest action scenes in the history of movies ever!* 🔥
Cool because the Air Conditioning is fully operational 🤣
Lol stfu
Just because the movie is from Marvel doesn't make it the best scene ever, u fanboy 😆
@@norpriest521 To be honest, Disney ruined the level of action in MCU movies, due to its kid friendly image. Real Marvel action is in 20th Century Fox productions like in X Men.
lmao
@@norpriest521 maybe it doesn't have to do with it being marvel. Have considered that its just their opinion?
The scene just shows how serious marvel movies has become.

Car AI: *"Window integrity compromised"*
Fury: *"Ya think?"*
Lmao
Well what’s not damaged?
Air conditioning is fully operational.
Poor Chevy tahoe i want one
Window integrity 31% Hold that order. Window integrity 19% Wait! Window integrity 1% NOW!!!!! *shooting at the cops*

Bruh....I would have loved to see a Chevy with vertical takeoff capabilities let alone...driving capabilities lol

"Air conditioning is fully operational"
Humble way of saying "Keep your cool man"
Lmao yes
Cool
Ah no I'd be pissed
My favorite line was “you wanna see my lease?”
"Initiate vertical takeoff!"
*AYO WHAT THE F-*
"Flight systems damaged"
*DAM IT*
Flight systems not in the budget*
Imagine if, as they took down the helicarriers, Fury saved Steve with the flying car.
Who is Ayo?

One of my favorite scenes in the whole MCU..such a badass scene..Sam Jackson was freaking good
YES YES YESS!!!!
THIS SCENE WAS THEE MOST INCREDIBLE EVER!!
ABSOLUTELY INTENSE!
But later when fury escaped thru some hole he made was a bit too much!
The hole is a nod to Agents of Shield. One of the team members invents the tech to make that hole.
@@morganbrown8538 I really like this scene, cuz it shows, that Nick isnt to weak as somebody know and i really low, when Winter Soldier join scene.
Sam Jackson's got the midas touch, any role he takes turns to gold
Sam Jackson? Wasn't he the guy who played Mace Windu in Star Wars?
When you think you escaped the police in GTA.
Those aren't police those are hydras
I always escape police in GTA5
@@gjlancearreza6063 u must be fun at parties...

How I feel in my armored Karuma💪
back when they did humor right/semi right. The perfect amount of dry humor in a tense situation but not enough to break the tension and it makes perfect sense for the AI to give that response.
*We interrupt this Captain America movie to bring you a badass chase scene with a Chevy Suburban that's more secure than the White House.*
This comment rings true in ways you can’t understand, past-person.
Funny thing about this comment...
U can say that again 😭
You must feel so badass knowing you just predicted a historic moment
This aged so fking well
"Get me Agent Hill!"
"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Did you mean 'Where's Capital Hill'?"
I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Did you mean 'Where's Capitol Hill'?
If it was Android Auto... "Sorry, I'm not sure how to help with that"
"Now playing capitols in my Hills by [insert random singer]"
if it was Siri “Here’s the web for “Contact Capital Hill””

"Fracture detected."
Yep I detected that too.

Nicholas Tony said it aswell

I think that that function still has a use. Shock can make it where you don't notice at first. Sorry if I ruined the joke😅
The MasterMind is used to hearing that.
Nick Fury is such a bad ass he's the only non-superhero who would have gotten out of that situation alive.
Soon as Russo Brothers joined Cap America it made the entire MCU better
Oh heck yes, they are geniuses. The Winter Soldier is a gem, and Avengers 4 is epic, and absolutely beautiful.
Agreed 100%
Captain america is the best. I love Fury and Natasha too my 3 favourites
Julia Berg They fucked EndGame up for a lot of characters tbh. Thats wat got me mad, they handled every movie flawlessly then fold on the last movie? Cmon now

I love that S.H.I.E.L.D's AI isn't as smart as Stark's.
The thing was completely aware of the whole situation.
"Police database shows no units in this area" without even getting prompted, let alone detecting a fracture unprompted with no obvious sensors.
@@e.h.5680
Stark's system would inform him that the cop car to his right wasn't registered as active police and then inform him of three others approaching.
SHIELD's system is very advanced but the difference between it and Stark's AI is that it's reactive where Stark's is proactive.
