Never seen a nation greater than New Zealand in today's world.
They've shown to the world: size, economy or armies don't make a country, people choosing to act does.
Warm Regards and prayers for all New Zealand people specially the PM of the country!

Let's not forget that New Zealand led the world in giving all women voting rights, in 1893. The other women PM's of New Zealand were important, with one, Helen Clark, becoming a senior UN official and later a candidate for Secretary-General after 9 years as PM.

@maccajoe That's a really simplistic comment. As a millenial land lord whose friends are finding it difficult to get on the property ladder I am thrilled Jacinda took the initiative to make the foreign buyer ban, I deplored National for their lack of action on that front. My issue with Labour are things like mortgage interest not being tax deductible which means landlords will be passing these costs onto their tenants through increased rent which is a terrible thing to happen. This will only benefit already established baby boomers like my boss who has about 20 properties, it makes it harder for middle class (esp millenials) investors to get on the property ladder. It especially screws over already struggling families with high rent which is largely their voter base. It was actually really difficult to choose between Labour and National because I liked neither but this was the one point that made me vote National.

      As I understand it ...
you can have both parents get 13 weeks
Or one parent 26 weeks and the other no weeks
In Jacinda's case - she opted for 6 weeks for herself and 20 weeks for Clark
[I could be wrong about how it gets divided up]

This story is offensive, that patronises women in general.
Mind you, the American accent that drives this story is somewhat crazy.
It’s such a uncomfortable conversation. Where Prime Minister is too kind.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern would say some uncomfortable things about Trump. She’s was too diplomatic to say anything different!
Sometimes Americans need to be put in their place!!
