  • "Kindness" is how she describes her political style. She changed her country's gun laws 10 days after a white supremacist terror attack, and has been praised for her management of the coronavirus crisis.
This is the story of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Ardern was NOT elected PM in New Zealand - she was made PM by some grumpy ol' coot who stabbed his voters in the back by opting to partner up with Labour. This after labour came a distant second in the 2017 election. NZs electoral system is Phucked, has been since 1993

I can tell you a little story about Jacinda that shows her warmth and personality. In 2017, less than a couple of months after she was sworn in as PM, I was in parliament grounds during a mass bus transfer for athletes and supporters of a "Special Olympics" gathering. Jacinda was in her beehive office above and behind the grounds. She apparently had seen everyone there and decided to come down, completely unexpected and unscripted, to say hello, along with Finance Minister Grant Robertson and a few attendants. Jacinda received a barrage of hugs from the excited throng and showed how she was "one of us". She really made the day for so many people.

Was that policy made clear to us? No it was not. Was it made clear to us when she was elected that 10% of New Zealand Defence Force contracts must be let out to Maori-run businesses only? White, Asian, African run businesses do not qualify to tender for 10% of NZ Defence Force contracts. Was this race-based policy discussed with the people and run past them for discussion? No it was not. Time to wake up to the fact we have a duplicitous, secret-keeping Marxist Prime Minister running our country and it is going to get much much worse under her dictatorship.

If she had held the election last year at the time she initially chose, she would have got 70%
But - due to a breakout of Covid in Auckland - she postponed the election by a month to "be fair to the opposition" ... which I think is true, because she was riding high in the polls and had no other reason to delay the election.
She still won anyway, but by not as many votes as she should have had.
When you have a leader like that, you need to treasure them!
She is just sheer class - and this latest lockdown proves it. She has a personal vendetta against Covid-19 and refuses to see a single New Zealander die from it - even if it means shutting the entire country down, and becoming extremely unpopular.

It starts by having a mindset that people buy into. India is mainly Hindu and Muslim. These two religions have similar ideals of peace, love and worship, much as most religions do, The concept of New Zealand is to follow the core values of religion and humanism. All parties think in much the same way. In the United States, say, there is little difference between conservatives and liberals. Americans believe that they are the number one people in the world, and that they should rule it. We in New Zealand have a different mindset - more like that of India.

Of all the things a three year old girl needs it is her mother at that tender age. What repugnant dogma to live ones life by and abandon the needs of ones innocent daughter by. Would you say your three year old daughter "does not need you"???? Is that the sign and heart of a compassionate and ethical leader? When she made that public I knew straight away she was the not right leader for our country, our people our children. The fact she has budgeted to spend $785,000,000 dollars on a cycle-only bridge across Auckland's harbour instead of, as the Minister for Child Poverty Prevention, spending it on needy and neglected children, speaks volumes about her. Don't believe this true? It's in the New Zealand media every day. She is not amazing, she is derelicting her duty as the Minister for Child Poverty Reduction.

I think, it is important to remind our children to have that kind of goal, one day, they wont need support from their parents. Also, parent-children love is unconditional, you'll love your parents even if you dont need them. If you cannot, then how can you expect to get an unconditional love?

I find that a grotesque thing to say of an innocent and needful 3 year old who completely and totally relies on their parents at that age and in particular their mother. That she could have the arrogance to say her 3 year “doesn’t need her” is a huge red light for me, the sign of someone who wants to check out from the full responsibilities of parent hood. What a moronic and callous statement. More than happy to meet personally with you here in New Zealand although I suspect you would prefer not to meet with someone you feel could be a Republican. No I’m not a Republican but I detest Socialism/Marxism and I have a Socialist/Marxist Prime Minister leading my country. You can see her here at a World Youth Socialist Congress meeting addressing her audience as “Comrade” on a dozen occasions at least. Do you believe me now?? th-cam.com/video/g9rsxFaq6Ig/w-d-xo.html. @@540chevhell9 You really dont understand what it meant for a parent to tell their children "they dont need her". I wish my parents told me that at the very young age so I would realised a bit earlier to strive harder to be independent and lessen their burden. Truth is children need themselves more than their parents. The same with citizen of countries, citizen need themselves. Thr government find ways to create opportunities, sometimes, due to the volatility of market condition, there is no guarantee they will be able to do so, so it is the citizen who should make it work. It sad that you dont put an effort to understand the purposes of the decision made in parliament. Politics is not easy, maintaining a good economy with scare resources available just like NZ is not a joke. NZ have done a great job and its up to its citizen to utilise whatever resources available or created by the parlimant. Marxsim/Socialism just like any type of economic model has an advantage that is why you can see some policies quite similar to this approach, and you should be aware or know how to get rid of its disadvantages when you integrate this model to your policies, take nordic countries for example, they have balance of socialism-capatalism approach. Socialism is best model to distribute the wealth of nation to its citizen and minimise inequalities, this can be done through tax policies and subsidies to small businesses, poverty prevention plan, etc, but it has to be balanced with capitalism in order to maintain a competitive market and also create more diverse opportunities to the citizens. I really appreciate if you put enough effort to understand rationale behind every policies without unconscious bias. You need to focus on its necessity rather than on what is beneficial to you.

@@hiimain7932 You really don't understand what I have said despite me saying it three times now. I'll say it a fourth time. The Prime Minister made the statement to the public of New Zealand via a magazine article. She did not tell her daughter directly that her daughter "does not need her". She made the statement to a magazine saying of her daughter ..."she does not need me". She told a leading New Zealand magazine that her daughter "does not need her". This I find extremely strange. It's quite perverse actually. Do you have kids?? Do you think your 3 year old does not need you? I can assure you every three year old child needs their mother very very much. So personally, having said such a thing I don't feel this woman is suitable to be the leader of the country.
As for your support of Marxist/Socialist dogma and the practical application of it, I think we need only look at countries such as Venezuela or Cuba, Russia (in the past) or China to see how demeaning life in these Socialist/Marxist countries is for the average human being. You can keep your socialist ideas for yourself, please apply them to yourself if that's what you believe in. I prefer to live in a country where everyone is free to think and act how they like and to accumulate what they want or need (as little or as much of it) through hard work, application of ones self and commitment. Just handing money and goods out to people ad-infinitem, for months and months or years and years, is a cynical and degrading way of keeping them in their place (so they continue to vote for the person that gives them these handouts), maintaining their utter dependancy on the state and enabling their helplessness. That is a terrible way to treat someone and it is what the current Labour government of New Zealand is doing much more so than previous governments.

@@MegaDavyk So what? This word is part of the English language. Here is a definition: from Merriam Webster "an intimate friend or associate : companion." It came from Latin and has some roots in Spanish as well. Merriam-Webster continues "In Latin, camara or camera denoted a vaulted ceiling or roof. Later, the word simply mean “room, chamber” and was inherited by many European languages with that meaning. In the Spanish, the word became cámara, and a derivative of that was camarada “a group of soldiers quartered in a room” and hence “fellow soldier, companion.” That Spanish word was borrowed into French as camarade and then into Elizabethan English as both camerade and comerade." As you can see the association with Communism came much, much later. Educate yourself a bit and you won't look so foolish, which was my original point.

I live in New Zealand, and generally support National, the opposition party, but I will say this; Jacinda Ardern has shown how to lead a Nation with compassion, empathy, level headedness, and KINDNESS, but with strength and determination through very turbulent waters (volcanic explosion, terrorist attack, COVID-19 pandemic) all whilst giving birth and bringing up a child. She is an epic example of a solid leader. I saw a meme on Facebook where slaves were pulling their leader on a sled with a massive stone whilst he was whipping them vs the leader at the front helping to pull the sled and the stone showing the way forward. This second leader is Jacinda Ardern. I will be giving her my next vote.
All other countries, accept nothing less than this kind of leadership for your Prime minster, President, etc...

Most politicians are weather vanes - going where the wind of popular opinion blows.
Jacinda is a sign post - standing firm, and leading the way.
These are extremely rare politicians - like once in a lifetime.
Treasure her- people like her don't come along very often.
You are so lucky that it was her in charge right now, with this terrifying disease.
      She beat it easy!
She took control of the messaging - that was her greatest achievement. "Stay in your bubble ..." ... Bubbles are nice, nobody can hurt you when you're in your bubble - what a beautiful way to tell everybody to stay indoors!
"Thanks to our team of 5 million people ..." ... so beautiful, and inclusive ...
She's the first PM to pay proper attention to the Maori, even giving her own daughter (who was born while she was in office!) a Maori middle name "Te Aroha" ... which is the Maori name for "love", but also the name they gave to the mountain outside her home town.

The old values taught by world-famous leaders from India are just being uprooted cause of these people who are not implementing any kinda beneficial plans. They are just attractive and beneficial either for wealthy classes alone or for the election times. I badly wanna change all the systems but it takes more than a century to change it only when those kinda people with money in their mind get rid of this holy land with great women leaders. I detest the typical “if they say X, I’ll say Y” approach of most politicians.
I had been travelling overseas and often the question of country is discussed. As soon as I mention NZ, smiles and animated discussion. Her positive impact on the rest of the world has made us proud.
I would expect NZ to become one of the destinations-of-choice, post COVID and much of that is down to her management of the pandemic and the “they are us” model she expounded with the terrorist attack.

I live in Auckland NZ. I have seen so many good changes especially in the new rebuilds for social housing all around South Auckland. During the lockdown the government sent all school supplies and provided laptops so our kids could still do their schooling from home. I also come to notice that during the lockdown food grant of $200 was easily accessible to those in need. Housing NZ also rang me during the lockdown if I was okay or if I was in financial hardship in meeting my rent. Which was nice and considerate of them. I wasn't able to work during the lockdown as my work was non essential but me and my husband got our wage subsidy and our employers topped us up. We have 7 children despite having to stay home we were well looked after and loved the time it afforded us to spent it with our kids. Great tactics. Chastise your own kind to win the approval of the other sex by telling the world you're the 'other kind of feminist'.
Any kind of correction of social inequalities will require criticism, will require rebellion which is the exact opposite of being subtle and subdued. If you think that is equal to being loud-mouthed, you are as much a part of the problem. We know patriarchy as a system which has gone on for over centuries has a hold over women as well. So well that they will go about preaching women..see raising your voices against injustice & prejudice is well too radical but if you do well in your field smiling and being agreeable, that is wonderful feminism.

Do not forget she was a member of the New Zealand communist party in her university years and if that does not set warning bells off then you should leave new Zealand. She is full of BS. This country is lacking in leadership at every level of government. And many continue to befuddled as to the reason why.
The example you set for New Zealand is one of such amazing love for your country and citizens. Your simple message of kindness is not something that should be minimized but should be praised.
As a 52 year old man, I continue to be lost, no disappointed, no heartbroken buy what the leaders of the US are doing. The issue here is not partisan politics, the issue here the failure to love and respect each other. They need to be able to learn this and who better to teach them than you.
