My wife and I are in a similar position and we have been watching your informative videos. Good luck to you both and keep us updated with more videos. Thanks
Thank you again Ruksana, we got our extension visa 2 days after our biometric appointment. Thank you for taking your time on posting these informative videos! ❤️❤️
Hi Rukhsana, hope you are doing well, I just wanted to thank you for doing such an amazing job in helping people like me, your videos have been very helpful in making my application successful.
Aww wow, a huge congratulations to you both on a successful application 🎉🎉🎉!! I am so so happy for you and glad to hear you found my videos helpful 😁😁😁!!
Yes Fahmed, love it. Thank you both for the video. Very useful. So good to see you talking more and the confidence Fahmed. Well done and keep them coming inshallah.
I went to my appointment this morning, it was very easy than i thought and your videos were very helpful thank you very much for shareing your experience. Lots of love to you and your family ❤🙏
Hi, you have 2 months after submitting the online application form to book your biometrics appointment. It doesn’t matter if the visa expires within that time as long as the application was submitted before it expired. Just make sure all the documents you provide are 6 months prior to application, not prior to biometric but I would provide 8 months prior to biometric just to be on the safe side and have all bases covered.
Ruksana, many thanks for your videos. I have watched all of them and its very detailed and informative. Wishing you and your husband all the very best with the rest of his journey to british citizenship
Personally, I think it’s very doable on your own. We did it on our own and that’s why I am able to share the experience. It does take your time, effort and a lot of research which paying a solicitor can eliminate. Plus if your case is a little more complicated then they will know how to go about it. But there applications aren’t always successful either so it really is up to you and mostly about if you can be bothered to put the effort in or would rather just pay someone else to take on the headache for you. Inshallah, I will soon be offering some services of my own
Yeah it can be quite steep. I’m actually going to be taking on applications myself soon. I have lots of people ask me but never used to have the time until now so will see how it goes. My website should hopefully launch in 2 weeks. Let me know if you’d be interested. We can arrange for a free consultation and the you can decide what you want to do from there ☺️.
Hi Salaams Just to let you know we got the extension visa. Your videos were supremely helpful. May Allah reward you all. Ameen. I paid super priority and we got the result within 8 hours of the biometric appointment The biometric appt was in Birmingham. Process was good. We followed your advice and uploaded some docs after the 48 hour window and when we arrived the lady just checked on system to see if it was uploaded and then pressed submit. She didn't even check the paper documents 😂 except the newly uploaded ones. I do have my own business so there are a few extras to that which I'm happy to share with you if you want to create a video on it. Anyway your videos were a huge relief. Thank you once again.
Wasalaam!! That’s amazing news!! A huge congratulations to you both 🎉🎉🎉!! I am so happy for you both 😁😁😁!! Getting a decision within 8 hours must have been such a relief!! Own business do require a few extra documents. Those working for a family member also need to include the same documents as well. It would be nice if you could share cuz it would help so many in those situations. That’s very kind of you to want to help. Thank you! 😊
Assalamu Alaikum. Thanks for providing a detailed description. It is super useful. Can I kindly know how have did you apply for you super priority service? I'm unable to do so unfortunately. Jazkallah Khair in advance
I had biometrics appointment last week in Croydon, they retained my passport in biometrics appointment although I uploaded them online but then again they retained my passport and gave me my passport photocopy. I don't know why they retained my passport.
Oh right, maybe they do it differently in Croydon 🤷🏻♀️. Ours are those electronic passport things that you can scan on the machine, is yours one of those too? If not, maybe that has something to do with it? 🤔 Very strange
Hello, salaam It is really urgent please I have clicked no by mistake for saying that my sponsor doesn’t give consent for home office to verify our documents what to do now ? Thanks
Hi, sorry for the late message. If the application form has been submitted then it cannot be changed. You could maybe provide a letter with your documents explaining the mistake and that the sponsor does give consent to the home office to verify the documents.
Hi Ruksana, hope you and family are well. Will you be doing an ILR video? It will be very useful to everyone, thanks for all your support over the years😊
Hey, sorry for the late reply. Usually there are tabs at the top for you to go back to the section you made a mistake and edit it but if you’ve gone too far sometimes it can’t be changed. You can either leave it and explain it on a letter or you can start all over again with a new application
th-cam.com/video/PSW2KXmuGyA/w-d-xo.html For the entry visa video I would put our wedding day pics and stuff in this section. The link shows what I provided for the extension visa and for our ILR visa, I will be including things related to our son as well
Hi, I only submitted our Nikkah Nama on the first application, I didn’t actually submit it on the extension application. You only need to submit the marriage certificate and that does need to be in English. A Nikkah nama is a religious binding so is not recognised in the UK as proof of marriage. The marriage certificate is given by the courts and is a legal marriage isn’t the eyes of the law so that is what they want to see.
Hi I got married this year in February, can I apply for my wife now, as I got all her documents and paperworks ready, also all my documents ready, I will be bringing her from Bangladesh, I will be doing the application and not her, so i was just curious how would she sign the declaration form. Let me know thanks
Hi, yes as long as all your documentation is ready then you can apply now. There is no physical signature. She'll only need to sign the declaration. You can send her the link to it, she'll need to print it, sign it and scanning it back to you so you can upload it.
@@Gmingyu Thank you. Hmm, you are the second person to tell me you messaged me on my website but nothing seems to have come through. I don't seem to be receiving the messages so will look into what's going on there tomorrow.
It is really depends on where you go and what time you go. You have to book at a core centre if you want a free appointment. The one we went to was not a core centre
I did my free appointment so they have limited of pages (4 pages )upload for free, if we have to upload more then that we have to pay extra. It's better if we can upload everything before go to biometric appointment. They don't do anything else for free.
How did you keep the document altogether when you attending the appointment like shall I put it in a folder and put them in plastic wallet or how shall I put them together for the appointment
Hi. I want to know if the 2nd spouse visa extension application was done and if you can upload a video of it as it helped me with the previous extension video. Thanks.
Can someone help plz i have apply for my husband and submit the case on 7th jan 2022 and we got fingerprints appointment on 27th jan 2022 but his visa expired on 24th jan 2022 is it ok to give fingerprints after visa expired or is it ok? As we have submitted case before 24th jan?
Hiya, sorry for the late reply. As long as you submit the application form and pay for it all before the 24th, it is ok. You can have your biometric appointment up to 2 months after you submit so most people find that their Visa card expires before the appointment date
Pictures are optional. Life events can also be birth certificates of any children. You don’t need to print the pics on paper, you can scan them in or upload them as jpeg/jpg or png files
Hi just a quick question pls…my wife made a application online and now has a appointment booked.Do I need to take the two referee forms to the appointment? Thanks also please let me know about other docs needed. Thankyou 😊
Hi, I’m not sure what you mean by the referee forms but if you upload everything online (on the ukvcas website) then they should have it all and you won’t need to take any documents with you. Just make sure she takes her passport, brp card and the appointment letter
I have a question about financial requirement. I am preparing my documents to submit my Indefinite (ILR) application. I don't have 6 months payslips from my current employer however i have got payslips from last 12 months from 3 different employers and these all together meeting the financial requirement at gross. I have got employment letter from current employer But i don't have any from previews employers. Just thinking if i will need letters from each of them or just one current would be ok. Please response ASAP. Thanks in advance ...
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Employment documents all fall under the "optional documents" section so I think it'll be ok if you submit an employment letter from your current employer only as that is what you will continue to earn when your spouse comes to the UK
@@RuksanaAhmed Thanks for the reply 🙂 just for your info i already got the decision 💳 👌. I have provided letter from current employer and payslips from previews and current covering last 12 months. 🥳
Hi, the time frame for a standard visa application is to get a decision within 8 weeks, which was the case for us. But some people have been really lucky and heard within days whilst other hear in a few weeks and a few unlucky people won't hear back fir months so it is really hard to say how long it will take.
Hi my visa expiry date is 19 March I submitted online application my question is my husband is 2nd marigge with me I submitted divorce letter of my husband first marriage
No, you don’t need to do the appendix 2 form for the extension. The vfa4a was the name of the visa application form. You still need to fill out the visa application form of course but it’s a little different for the extension so maybe called something different too
hi rukshana..i have been divorced with my first wife long time ago and my second wife is here and needed extension visa after her first two and a half years stay in |UK. now she needs to fill the extension homeoffice page for another stay here. You have demonstrated only on the spouse categories but what about the who is divorced and applying for the second one. Could you plz help me and others to show how it can be done...many thanks
Hi, the application for you second wife is exactly the same as my application for my husband. Except that you will have a few extra questions to answer regarding you previous marriage and when that ended as well as a few extra documents to provide such as your divorce certificate. I am only sharing my experiences with these videos and divorce is not an experience of mine. I don’t want to advise anyone incorrectly
Hi, firstly congratulations on the birth of your baby. Your video's have really helped my wife get her extension on her visa. I was just wondering if your husband has applied for the British citizenship/ passport and if you know how long we have to wait after the visa extension until applying for the British citizenship. Any advise would be much appreciated 🙏
Aww thank you! We haven’t applied for ILR yet, it’s due at the end of August. I’ve heard mixed information about how long after getting ILR you can apply for British citizenship. Some people say straight away as you only need to be in the country for 3 years others say you need to wait a year. Personally, I don’t think think there is any rush to apply so I might just wait the full year, but I’ll deffo have to look into it more nearer the time.
Hi you are doing good job my question is yesterday I went for biometric they scan my all douments after that they every thing is OK can you tell me how can I check my doument is up loaded or no
Thank you! You should have a look at the UKVCAS website (the same website you used to book your biometric appointment as that is the website used to upload documents.
Hello dear I want know about uk brp card,I come from uk after 2 years, now I m in india,I have valid uk brp card, can I go back uk with show uk residence permit card at airport with my passport and ticket,if I have valid uk brp card so I don't need to visa for re enter uk from india, please reply me
Hiya, I’m not sure what kind of brp card you had and the rules for that card might be different to the one for the spouse visa. But tbh, I don’t think you can be put the country longer than 90 days in a row on the spouse visa
My spouse visa application is 28 September This is my last bank statement and I can't get it 28 from the bank online Apart from this, what is the other way to get a statement from the bank?
We'll just have to wait and see. He's passed his IELTS B1 and his theory and practical driving tests so he's not doing too badly. Looks can be deceiving 😅. Not everyone is confident in front of the camera, I struggle a lot with it myself lol. That may be what you are picking up on
Life in the uk test is about memorisation i think it will be easy for others, than english test conversation as long as ur good at memorising and u can read.
Exactly!! It’s easier to pass the life in the UK test than it is the B1 because you just have to remember answers as opposed to being asked random questions on the spot. He passed his B1 and he actually passed his life in the UK earlier this week so it just goes to show, you should never judge someone on “how they look” looks can be very deceiving.
Hello ruksana can I ask u some question about biometric? Did the home office send u the schedule for biometric schedule to do so or u choice the date by urself after submitting all the documents?
I chose the date myself after completing the online application and after paying the ihs fee. First you book the appointment and then you upload the documents before the appointment if doing it yourself or take the documents with for on the day for them to do it
@@RuksanaAhmed sorry for all the questions because my application for extension is on July already and I wanted to ask one by one because ur now a very busy mom so just reply me if I have extra time. Thanks a lot.
Hy i lost my real marriage certificate and I only have a copy to this certificate now i going to apply for spose viza extension in uk i can't apply for new certificate because i only have a 1 week left to expire viza can I submit a copy of marriage certificate
As Tasmia said, upload a picture if you have one and just take the copy with you and explain that you have lost it. I'm not sure if you can get a solicitor to sign it or something to say that it is a true copy of the original 🤷♀️ but it's worth a try
Yes sure, combined income for the extension application is fine. But they do just add 20% back onto the 80% furlough wage to work out what he would have been earning had he got his normal wage and calculate the income that way so you don't need to worry too much if his income is now below the £18,600 due to him being on furlough. Hope that makes sense.
Hi newbie here. Just asking I am sure your application was a success. I just didn't see a follow up video from this one with your experience of how long the application took to receive a reply. I know it varies and its different for each person but I just wondered is. All. Maybe I missed the video about your outcome. I will be making an extension application in a months time and I will be doing it without a solicitor as its too expensive! Thanks so much for your advice.
Hi, sorry yes I didn’t make a big announcement video in the end. I mentioned it in my “life update” video but yes, thankfully it was successful and took about 2 months to find out, if I remember correctly
I just done my biometric appointment yesterday and within 24 hours i got the email from the home office my visa was approved😃 i was very shocked how quick is the decision i did not expect to get a result within 24 hours 👍 but it was amazing news🙏
@@zionstone176 o wow congratulations 👏👏 that was way quick!!! Congratulations!! I have a question do you UPLOAD your documents up to 48hrs before the appointment and then after your biometrics appointment then You SUBMIT?? Or you have to upload and submit before the biometric appointmen?
Hey, you can submit them 48hrs before the application so upload them first and then go back in and check if they are ready to upload. I think they can also submit the documents for you at the appointment anyway cuz they can see everything you uploaded from home anyway.
Hey, thanks for your amazing video, it was indeed very helpful 😊 I just had a quick question please. I had my biometric appointment yesterday but they didnt take my passport, do they not stamp the visa on the passport? Is it the new BRP thats all? Please reply, thanks😊 😊
Hi, they only keep the passport in the first application. They don’t keep it for the extension or the ILR applications. They will just send a new brp card through the post for those of the visa is successful
As D 2 said, if you are worried that your visa will expire before you attend the appointment then don’t worry, as long as the application form has been submitted and the fees have been paid. You can book the biometric appointment up to 2 months after submitting the application. We wanted to get it over and done with so my husband booked for the soonest date he could do.
Asc Ruksana hope you and the family are all well and healthy. My wife had the boimetrice appoinment last friday 29th of October and they refused to scan and send our pictures. Did you appload picures of you and your husband? Thanks
Wasalam, we’re well thanks. Hope you are too! Hmm that’s strange. Did you pay for the scanning service? Pictures aren’t necessary for the extension application, it’s mainly for the first one but you don’t really need them. I uploaded some cuz I wanted to show how our relationship progressed over that time
Aww no, don’t worry. It’s more that you’ve been living together since coming to the uk that they want to see. I’m sure if you’ve got enough proof of that then they’ll assume you also have lots of photos together. Best of luck!
@@RuksanaAhmedGood news We got the visa extension on friday 11th of November. It took two weeks to get the decision. I appriciate and thank you for everything may allah bless you and your family.
Aww wow that’s amazing!! Congratulations to you both 🎉🎉🎉!! Sorry, o thought you were just looking at them now 🤣. Anyways, really happy for you, good luck with your extension visa! 🙏🏼
Hi, I have been abroad for seven months after arriving UK I got into a employment so far it has been 6 months and I have been with two different employers with no employment gaps. Do I need to be employed for at least 12 months and use only 6 months of payslips from same employer to apply for the UK spouse visa?
Hi. If you have been with the same employer for 6 months then you only need to show 6 months of wage slips. But if you have changed employers within the most recent 6 months then you will need to show 12 months of wages slips which you don’t have cuz you’ve not been here for 12 months. So it is best to work with your current employer for 6 months and then apply with 6 months wages
Hello. Thank you for sharing your videos regarding the FLRM. You've helped me so much on my UK Spouse Visa way back 2018. Endless thank you. Did you avail Free Standard for the appointment? Thank you.
Hi, glad to hear you have found my videos helpful! Yes, we used the free standard service again this time around. He was already here with me in the U.K. so why pay a premium? We can wait lol. Plus, I don’t think they are offering priority services at the moment due to the pandemic and not being able to guarantee a quick service but many have had quick decisions recently
The card was posted but needed to be signed for. I signed for him, as long as the person signing has their ID with them, that all they ask for. I had my driving license
Hi Ruksana, thanks for your info. It's been really helpful in my visa journey too. I wanted to ask, when your husband went for his UKVCAS appointment, if they returned his passport, how did he evntually get it stamped for the visa? I understand the BRP comes in the mail after approval right?
Yes, the first one they keep the passport and put a vignette in it if it’s successful. It’s like a sticker for 1 month to allow them time to travel to the UK. Then once they arrive, they used to pick up the brp card from a post office. Not sure if that’s the same now
Hi Guys, I also received the decision by email but doesn’t says they put me on 5 years route or 10 years route, but normally they should mention on the decision letter. I want to find out ASAP otherwise its going to cost for extension every 2.5 years . Thanks
If the first IELTS taken was the A1 then yes, you will be required to take the A2 or B1 for the extension application. If the A2 is taken for the extension then B1 will need to be taken for the ILR. If the B1 is taken at extension then that certificate can be used again for ILR.
I took 3 months for the first visa. And 2 months and 3 weeks for the second but it’s different for everyone. 2 weeks is very little time. You should only worry if you haven’t heard back after 6 months
No it doesn’t. If you have made you application and are waiting for a response, you are still legally in the U.K. even if your BRP has expired. It is up to the employer to decide whether or not to give you a job. Some do accept that an application is in process but some don’t but there is nothing to say you cannot work
thank u so much i ve got my visa extension today for 2 and half years more and its valid till jan 2024 i want to ask plz after hw long can i apply for ILR and wht documnts i need thanks once again
Hi, for the extension application you only need to do the IELTS A2 as a minimum but if your spouse is confident then they can take the B1 test which is a higher level. The B1 can then be used for the ILR application also which is what we have done.
Hey Ruksana, we got our BRP card today but the length seems to be shorter? Was this the same for you both? However on our email it said he can stay until June But the card says December? Quite confused
Hey, apologies for the very late reply but I’ve been absent from TH-cam for a while. Yes that’s right, the extension visa is 30 months long whereas the first visa was 33 months long. I would just go off the expiry date on the brp card as that is essentially his visa and what they will look at when you re-apply
Hey Ruksana, i wanted to ask a quick question if thats ok. Im having my wedding in July but my husbands viza runs out in september and we come back from are wedding mid or end August. Would he be able to come back with his viza or does he need to apply quick for a new one? Thank you your amazing ❤️
Thank you, may Allah reward you, you have helped me so much with the first viza Insha'Allah i will get the extention viza when i come back from my wedding. I was worried that when we return the viza needed to be 3 or more months left when coming back for the viza. ❤️
Ruksana can I ask when ur husband applied for provisional driving 1st did he send his biometric card alone with the form? Or do I need to put extra envelope with special delivery to send back my biometric card? Thanks a lot and appreciate it if u can help me on this matter.
HI, really sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure if my message is relevant to you anymore but...they send your documents (brp card) back separately with 2nd class stamp. If you want to have them sent back with special delivery then you need to provide them with a prepaid self addressed envelope which is something that we did. The royal mail is so efficient that I think 2nd class would be fine but we just didn't want the stress.
Hi ruksana , please can you let me know some basic points that you covered in the covering letter so that we have a rough plan to work off. I’m no good with creative writing! Thank you!
Hi, it’s slightly different for the extension visa. You still want to say how you meet the financial requirements and where you will be living in the U.K. but instead of talking about your relationship, how you met etc you want to talk more about how the applicant has integrated in to British society, how living here has benefited your family (improved your situation)
Hi ruksana, my solicitor has uploaded the documents in a rush i feel like he missed some documents as he was rushing the application has been submitted, he booked a free biometrics appointment can i upload for free some documents when my husband is at the biometrics appointment or does he have to pay while he is their. ?
Hi, sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. You probably have your visa already. Tbh, I think I upload way too much anyway. Did you manage to upload more documents at the appoint? Was it free or did you have to pay?
Hi, thanks for you helpful videos. Just want to ask, my spouse visa will expire march 2024, if ever we wont be able to renew visa then go back to my home country, do i need to apply 1st spouse visa again or just continue the flrm visa if ever i decide to be back in the UK after a year? Thanks in advance 🙂
Thank you ever so much because of your videos I was able to apply for my wife’s FLR(M) without a solicitor. You’re an absolute star. Can I ask you when is your husband due for ILR?
Hi, it took us 2 months and 3 weeks to get a decision and about 10 days to be sent the BRP card but we kept missing them so in the end, it took us a little longer than most.
@@RuksanaAhmed Congratulations!!! Please make a video soon regarding Life in UK Test. Wonderful journey of you and your husband and plus little angel soon.
Aww thank you so much for following our journey! Yes, I will do when the takes it. I don’t think it’s needed for ILR, just for citizenship after so he might not take it anytime soon
@@RuksanaAhmed di you know when we sign the spouse declaration and part 1 and part 2 what do we date that. Do we date it before the application or on the day of the application or after the application
How many months before you applied for your husband renewal of visa?my husband visa will actually expire on Dec 2021 and quite confuse how many months before to apply for renewal of visa. Also when your husband applied for english test is there any validation for the certificate?Thank you.
You an apply for a renewal 28 days before the visa expires at the earliest, right up until the day before. We applied somewhere in between. The certificate itself is all you need to prove that the test was taken and passed.
The minimum requirement for the extension visa is A2 but you can take B1 if you feel confident like my husband did as it is a higher paper and you can use the same certificate again for indefinite leave
It took them 2 months and 3 weeks for my husband's visa to be approved but everyone hears back at different times. I have heard people hear back within days and other after more months
Yes, just book your biometric appointment. Make sure you choose one that you have to pay for as it should include the scanning service and then just take you documents in with you on the day and they will scan it all for you ☺️
Hi rukhsana… i hope u r doing well…. I want to know that how long did it take for ur husband’s visa extension to get approved after his biometric appointment?
Hi, it took 2 months after the biometric appointment for my husband to receive his visa but some people are luck and hear back sooner whilst others are not so lucky and it takes longer.
Dear Rukshana, Hello, your information was greatly helpful for my previous two spouse visa applications. Could you please let me know what happened to your husband's ILR application?
Hey Ruksana I love your videos and they are so useful! Just a question can you travel to other countries on a spousal visa? Have you been anywhere with your husband ? As he doesn’t have his British passport yet has this been an issue for you? Xx
Hi, yes. You can travel as long as the country you are going to allows someone holding a passport of a country that is allowed in either visa free or with a visa. We have been to Turkey, Paris and applied for Greece which we’re all approved with a Schengen visa from those embassies. We have also been to the Maldives which Bangladeshi passport holders don’t need a visa for. My husband has also taken a trip back home without me and we plan to go as a family this year. I think you can travel a total of 180 days per year on the spouse visa (or per visa) but no more than 90 days together. Also, I don’t think it’s recommended that you travel the year before applying ILR.
Thanks dear for all information. Could you please tell which B1 test could I take? B1 one for Settlement/Permanent Residency and other one is for British Citizenship (Naturalisation).
I feel so proud when he speaks english🥺💪 bless him
Hehe, aww thank you so much! He's definitely come a long way. 😁

Aww thank you, glad you liked my videos. Please keep us in your prayers! 😁
is there a certain amount of time to book the biometric appointment, like a certain time frame from BRP card expiring etc. Hope that makes sense

Ameen!! Thank you so much for your wishes!! Best of luck with yours also! 😀
@@RuksanaAhmed hey again. Just wondering do you have to hire a lawyer or is the application something that can be done
Inshallah, I will soon be offering some services of my own
@@RuksanaAhmed Thanks Ruksana. I totally agree. Only thing is that the solicitors fee is quite steep. Thanks very much
Yeah it can be quite steep.

Just to let you know we got the extension visa. Your videos were supremely helpful. May Allah reward you all. Ameen.
I paid super priority and we got the result within 8 hours of the biometric appointment
The biometric appt was in Birmingham.
Alhamdulliah did my wife myself. Thank u ruks. Alhamdulliah my wife visa been granted:)
Aww that’s amazing news!! Congratulations to you both 🎉🎉🎉!! I am so happy to hear it 😁😁😁!!
Salam ! Can you tell me which documents you have uploaded for spouse visa extension?
So informative.. thank you so much both of you ❤
Aww thanks for watching! ☺️
They didnt check anything except my brp and passport
That's really good. Yes, I tell everyone to take passport and BRP, nothing else is required.
Hello, salaam
It is really urgent please
I have clicked no by mistake for saying that my sponsor doesn’t give consent for home office to verify our documents what to do now ?
It will be very useful to everyone, thanks for all your support over the years😊
Hi yes, please keep an eye out. It should be up soon
Haven’t submit mine yet but I made mistake on the date it runs out how can I go back to change it
Hey, sorry for the late reply. Usually there are tabs at the top for you to go back to the section you made a mistake and edit it but if you’ve gone too far sometimes it can’t be changed. You can either leave it and explain it on a letter or you can start all over again with a new application
Apu card and passport tara rakilay nata
Extension visa shomoy rake na
Please what does life event doc. Entails?
th-cam.com/video/PSW2KXmuGyA/w-d-xo.html
For the entry visa video I would put our wedding day pics and stuff in this section. The link shows what I provided for the extension visa and for our ILR visa, I will be including things related to our son as well
Hi also my wife has a nikah nama in Urdu however does This need to be taken and also translated in English? Thanks
I got appointment on 7th January in Liverpool thanks for your helpful video
Sorry for the late reply. Hope it went well!

Itought once you get decision you can go to some Center like 1 brp and have it without payment
That’s great to know, thank you for sharing. Now I can share this information with others also
How did you keep the document altogether when you attending the appointment like shall I put it in a folder and put them in plastic wallet or how shall I put them together for the appointment

How about the passport photos didn't they ask him to submit it during the biometric appointment?
Nope, they didn’t look at them
Hi. I want to know if the 2nd spouse visa extension application was done and if you can upload a video of it as it helped me with the previous extension video. Thanks.
Hi, do you mean the ILR application? That’ll be up in a couple of weeks
My appointment hardly took 10 mins beacause i uploaded everything before biometric appointment
It's good when it's that easy isn't it? Takes all the stress away.
Hi Ruks, hope you’re well? Will you be uploading an updated video on your husbands immigration next steps? Thank you and looking forward to it.
Yes, it will be up soon
Life event documents means pictures. Do i have to print the pictures in a paper?
Pictures are optional. Life events can also be birth certificates of any children. You don’t need to print the pics on paper, you can scan them in or upload them as jpeg/jpg or png files
Hi Ruk, when are you going to make videos about your hubby’s Life in the UK test and Applying for ILR and Neutralisation. Thank you 🙏🏻
We haven’t applied yet ourselves. They won’t be up until the summer
That’s fine looking forward to it. I think your hubby’s 5 years will be completed in few months or less before he can apply for ILR.
I have got employment letter from current employer
But i don't have any from previews employers.

Hi may i ask how long does the decision arrived after applying for his visa extension? Thank you
Hi, the time frame for a standard visa application is to get a decision within 8 weeks, which was the case for us.
That's right. If your husband is divorced then you should submit his divorce letter from his previous marriage.
Hi Ruksana, do I fill out the appendix 2 form and the VAF4A form for spouse extension visa? Thank you
No, you don’t need to do the appendix 2 form for the extension. The vfa4a was the name of the visa application form. You still need to fill out the visa application form of course but it’s a little different for the extension so maybe called something different too
What form do I need for visa extention after I have submitted application
Hi I have one question when they said 28 days before you can apply what is means is it about application or biometric.
The earliest you can apply for an extension is 28 days before the BRP card expires. The latest is the day of expiry.
Thank you for this very helpful video. I have a question, could i do my biometric 1 day before my brp card expired??
Thanks in advance for the answer
Yes definitely. You can do it after your BRP card expires. The expiry date is for the application, not for the biometric appointment.
@@RuksanaAhmed A big thank you!!..alright..okay because i am still waiting for our payslip and bank statement for this month
No problem. So have you submitted your application? I am sure all your documents need to be dated prior to submitting the form
hi rukshana..i have been divorced with my first wife long time ago and my second wife is here and needed extension visa after her first two and a half years stay in |UK. now she needs to fill the extension homeoffice page for another stay here.
Hi when are you going to do the ILR application?
In the summer
Can we do a2 online, or do we have to do classes
Salam
Hope your well
I am waiting for you to upload for the permanent residency after this extension please.

Will he be able to pass life in UK test. He doesn't look very confident
We'll just have to wait and see. He's passed his IELTS B1 and his theory and practical driving tests so he's not doing too badly. Looks can be deceiving 😅. Not everyone is confident in front of the camera, I struggle a lot with it myself lol. That may be what you are picking up on
That’s not a good comment to other people. U should boost his confidence instead u judge him by his looks.
Exactly, you can see he’s trying to share his experience so it can other people and with a supportive wife like Ruksana, he can achieve it!
Can my spouse work if waiting for decision and permit has expired
Yes, they are still able to work as long as their company is accepting of their situation and understands a decision is being made.

Hello ruksana can I ask u some question about biometric? Did the home office send u the schedule for biometric schedule to do so or u choice the date by urself after submitting all the documents?
I chose the date myself after completing the online application and after paying the ihs fee. First you book the appointment and then you upload the documents before the appointment if doing it yourself or take the documents with for on the day for them to do it

do you have a picture of your original certificate?if you have you can upload it.
As Tasmia said, upload a picture if you have one and just take the copy with you and explain that you have lost it. I'm not sure if you can get a solicitor to sign it or something to say that it is a true copy of the original 🤷♀️ but it's worth a try
Hi Ruksana, how long after submitting the application do they provide you with another BRP card ? As in do they extend the visa ?
I'm sure they future dated the BRP card so that it started a couple of days or so after they expect you to receive it.
Hello. My husband still on furlough till sept and if incase he cant meet the financial gov rules can i combine my income?
Yes sure, combined income for the extension application is fine. But they do just add 20% back onto the 80% furlough wage to work out what he would have been earning had he got his normal wage and calculate the income that way so you don't need to worry too much if his income is now below the £18,600 due to him being on furlough. Hope that makes sense.

Hi newbie here. Just asking I am sure your application was a success. I just didn't see a follow up video from this one with your experience of how long the application took to receive a reply. Hi ruksana how close to your husbands visa expiring did you do your biometric appointment
As long as u pay the visa and nhs fees before your visa expires, then it's ok
As D 2 said, if you are worried that your visa will expire before you attend the appointment then don’t worry, as long as the application form has been submitted and the fees have been paid. You can book the biometric appointment up to 2 months after submitting the application. We wanted to get it over and done with so my husband booked for the soonest date he could do.

Hi Ruksana, thanks for your info. It's been really helpful in my visa journey too. I wanted to ask, when your husband went for his UKVCAS appointment, if they returned his passport, how did he evntually get it stamped for the visa?
I understand the BRP comes in the mail after approval right?
For the second visa application, they don't stamp the passport. They just issue a bra card which you receive through the post.
@@RuksanaAhmed what about the first visa? The first 2.5 year one? Did he get a stamp on his passport for that?
Yes, the first one they keep the passport and put a vignette in it if it’s successful. It’s like a sticker for 1 month to allow them time to travel to the UK. Then once they arrive, they used to pick up the brp card from a post office. Not sure if that’s the same now
Is it necessary to bring all documents with me if I uploaded already
No, you don’t need to take the documents with you if they have been uploaded online
Did your brp card come back without a signature field. Also I didn't get a letter about decision but an email instead
The new BRP card does not have a signature field and we only received a decision email as well.

hi, thanks for your video, Do you have to resit the IELTS exam even though you passed the first time.
If the first IELTS taken was the A1 then yes, you will be required to take the A2 or B1 for the extension application.
If the A2 is taken for the extension then B1 will need to be taken for the ILR.
If the B1 is taken at extension then that certificate can be used again for ILR.
how long do they take to make decision? i ve submittd my fingerprints 2 weekss ago
I took 3 months for the first visa. And 2 months and 3 weeks for the second but it’s different for everyone. 2 weeks is very little time. You should only worry if you haven’t heard back after 6 months
does it mean im living here illegaly untill i get any response from them? m i not allowed to work?
No it doesn’t. If you have made you application and are waiting for a response, you are still legally in the U.K. even if your BRP has expired. It is up to the employer to decide whether or not to give you a job. Some do accept that an application is in process but some don’t but there is nothing to say you cannot work

Thanks for your video... Very useful.. Can you explain, what are exams include for EXTEND SPOUSE VISA?
You should be able to return as the visa is still valid at the end of August.

Hi, I’m not sure on that one actually. You might be better asking an immigration solicitor who will know more
Thank you ever so much because of your videos I was able to apply for my wife’s FLR(M) without a solicitor. You’re an absolute star.
Can I ask you when is your husband due for ILR?
No worries. It’ll be uploaded very soon
Salam Ruk's how long did it take after your husband's Biometric appointment, for you to receive a decision and when did you send the old BRP back?
Hi, it took us 2 months and 3 weeks to get a decision and about 10 days to be sent the BRP card but we kept missing them so in the end, it took us a little longer than most.
Thanks. Did you send the old BRP card back with normal post or recorded delivery?
Just first class delivery. Nothing special
Very helpful
Cheers
No problem, thanks for watching 😊
Hi mam do we need citizenship of country
Hi, I’m sorry but I don’t understand what you mean
Do I need to write my name on the back of the passport photos x
We did but tbh, they didn't even look at them at all
@@RuksanaAhmed di you know when we sign the spouse declaration and part 1 and part 2 what do we date that. Do we date it before the application or on the day of the application or after the application
A few days before or on the day is fine
@@sabinaadeeb7581 where to upload the spouse declaration? Can u let me know please thanks
@@RuksanaAhmed hello where I can download am the spouse declaration for extension visa?
How many months before you applied for your husband renewal of visa?my husband visa will actually expire on Dec 2021 and quite confuse how many months before to apply for renewal of visa. Also when your husband applied for english test is there any validation for the certificate?Thank you.
You an apply for a renewal 28 days before the visa expires at the earliest, right up until the day before. We applied somewhere in between.
The certificate itself is all you need to prove that the test was taken and passed.
@@RuksanaAhmed Thank you so much for your reply. Your videos are really helpful..keep it up..😊
No problem, thanks for watching 😊
Which English test required for partner visa extension. In UK.?????
The minimum requirement for the extension visa is A2 but you can take B1 if you feel confident like my husband did as it is a higher paper and you can use the same certificate again for indefinite leave
How long does it take at the appointment ?
The appointment was really quick. Maybe about 15-20mins max
How long did it take for the home office to approve the visa ?
It took them 2 months and 3 weeks for my husband's visa to be approved but everyone hears back at different times. I have heard people hear back within days and other after more months
Hi.
After how many days you submitted the documents, after online application submission?
I can't remember tbh, as long as you upload everything 2 days before the biometric appointment then that is all that matters
@@RuksanaAhmed if I do scan my documents in one of the vfs centre can I do it the biometric at the same time?
Yes, just book your biometric appointment. Make sure you choose one that you have to pay for as it should include the scanning service and then just take you documents in with you on the day and they will scan it all for you ☺️
@@RuksanaAhmed thank u again and wish u all the best for ur family. Ur such a great help. Been watching ur video since my 1 visa app
Aww no problem at all! Thank you for following 😁
Very good information thank you
Thanks, glad you thought so ☺️
Hi rukhsana… i hope u r doing well…. I want to know that how long did it take for ur husband’s visa extension to get approved after his biometric appointment?
Hi, it took 2 months after the biometric appointment for my husband to receive his visa but some people are luck and hear back sooner whilst others are not so lucky and it takes longer.
@@RuksanaAhmed did his old visa expire while u were waiting for a response?
Dear Rukshana, Hello, your information was greatly helpful for my previous two spouse visa applications. Could you please let me know what happened to your husband's ILR application?
Hi, we are still waiting for an answer on that but I have uploaded a vide for the ILR application.
I can confirm that your application is considered and is currently awaiting a decision from ukvi what does it mean that ?
They are looking at your application, hopefully a decision will be made soon.
@@RuksanaAhmed hello, Jzk khair so much!! That’s very helpful and thanks for replying xx
Thanks dear for all information. Could you please tell which B1 test could I take?
B1 one for Settlement/Permanent Residency and other one is for British Citizenship (Naturalisation).
Hmm it should say B1 for immigration www.trinitycollege.com/qualifications/SELT/UKVI/B1-GESE-grade-5
Ruksana Ahmed thanks alot
Anytime 😊
