my jaw literally dropped when that basement was revealed, absolutely stunning. I don't know what it is about old stuff that's so soothing to me, the nostalgia of times I didn't even experience...
The main floor bedroom probably was never intended to be bedroom and it’s probably meant to be a dining area. I would imagine bedroom furniture was in there because it was an elderly lady who lived there and she didn’t want to or couldn’t climb the stairs. So where the stairs are located is fairly typical for this style of house. Great find!
I'm not at all surprised that old TV and vacuum still work...but shocked that there's power in that house! That bathroom was a blast from the past, it's exactly like the one in the house I grew up in (and a lot like the one in my grandparents' house).
At 10:27 we see a list of tunes labeled A thru X. Probably the door bell chime was programmable to play different chimes and this was the list for programming it. So, around Christmas you could select tune "O" and the door bell would play "Joy to the World"
I have to honor you for keeping the property secure and private and for your good steady camera work. As a quilter, I was drawn to the old Singer sewing machine which is worth more than the plastic ones made today. Thanks for an enjoyable discovery.
So happy to find your channel! Thank you for the work and passion you put into it. This newspaper that you were skipping through at 12:27 is Karpats'ka Rus', which was published in the Rusyn language, an East Slavic language spoken by Rusyns in parts of Central and Eastern Europe, and written in the Cyrillic script. The newspaper was published in the United States for the Rusyn-speaking Lemko immigrant community. It may be a clue to the question of the origin of the emigrants, like eastern Poland or Slovakia, or maybe western Ukraine.
Holy shit that "Command Control" joystick is from the early 80's when Atari 2600 was the king of home video game consoles. I had one myself. You truly discovered a time capsule.

I don't think I've ever commented on your videos, but I've seen enough of them to throw you huge props on putting the music along with the scenery. It always gets me emotional, and makes me think of when I was little visiting my great-grandparents. I miss those days very much, and for whatever reason, your videos always make me reminisce. Thank you for letting us see your adventures, I always look forward to them.
The car is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird. I have one just like it sitting in my driveway. It appears to be in good condition. It's a very desirable collector car and, as one of the other commenters mentioned, it should be saved before the loser, scumbag types have a chance to destroy it. Truly a rare and lucky find.
I know right to find one rust-free like that is an absolute miracle!!! I really hope somebody gets their hands on it and puts it back on the road where it belongs!!🙂💯
@@g.k.1669 Depends on options. I have heard some people mention this one has OHC badges on it, which would mean it's a base model with an inline 6. Those are getting pretty rare, if only because people are swapping them out for V8s. Even so, restored it would still be worth at least $30-$35k
This is, by far, the best explore team (and house/barns) I've seen yet. The car is a classic, a Pontiac Firebird muscle car. I'd even bet the keys are near by, and that it runs. You cracked me up when you gagged on the very old perfume! Yes, it does go bad over time. "Or did old people just smell that bad back then"? ...Hilarious!
Worth noting: The tulip canisters in the kitchen are worth $ and collectable. The vanity was quite nice and the mirror is very deco with it! The cedar wardrobe cabinet was nice as well. Good tour. Thank you! Question: who the heck owns the sheep????
One of my favorites...I totally get preserving history and all, but I would be so tempted with that vanity and the old doors and those knobs lol 😆 I can't believe they are still there and no one has taken them. Thankfully they are and we get to see the exploration of it all. 😀

Boy do I feel old!!! I learned to type on that kind of typewriter. We also had a zenith tv. They were very popular in the 70’s. Very cute little house. Takes me back to my younger years

Great video. Must have been a Sweet little home in its day. Thanks for not opening any of the refrigerators. Glad you don't go into these places alone. Thanks, Devin
I love how colourful this house is! Polka dots in the stairwell, red trim in green cabinets, purple cabinet doors...even the wooden floor in one of the upstairs bedrooms was beautifully painted! I had that ivory and gold teapot tealight holder for years -- got it in the 90s from Party Lite candles. And how I remember those old TVs! Whoa, I love the basement with all the plants. It must have been a beautiful romm back then. I wish I could do an Exploration tour 🤗 Feeling those vibes etc.❤
Such an incredibly lucky find! Thank you so much for documenting an amazing look into history. I wish more people were as respectful of these places as you are. The lack of intentional destruction there really makes it feel like you've stepped right back to the day they left.
Really love this house. The colors & archways were very 1930s. The1970s Hoover vacuum hose was not attached to the bag compartment, so that sent dust & paint chips flying. Hopefully that wasn’t lead paint.
All I could think of was all of the lead paint and potentially even asbestos that was just blown into the air for him to inhale. Honestly, I wouldn’t be stepping foot into a house like this without an N95 at the very least. Lead paint was just way too common for that time period. The negative effects of lead paint are bad enough when it’s still adhered to the walls. It’s a whole different ballgame when it’s falling off the walls and turning into dust particles that are easily aerosolized and inhaled straight into the lungs. I also wanted to yell at the screen and tell him not to spray the perfume and breathe it in. At minimum, he was inhaling straight up mold, let alone any of the another harmful things growing in it causing it to smell so awful. Same with the fermenting canned foods. You should definitely try to avoid actively inhaling anything (or getting close enough to be able to inhale something) in this kind of environment, especially when going into old decrepit abandoned buildings like this is something you do regularly (which means higher levels of exposure, which translates to a higher risk of medical complications). A mask would definitely be a wise accessory to accompany him when going into places like this. It was an incredible video though! I loved how well preserved everything was, and how it’s remained relatively untouched by vandalism. Such an awesome find!
Yes! And when some of it is labeled "vintage/antique" by the person recording it...reminds me how young they are 😂. I get a kick out of that in videos like these.
I love everything about this old house!! The dishes are even in the sink waiting to be washed!! It's like they have just stepped out of the house for a little while!! What I don't like about it is that the government decided not to turn the electricity off to the house after they bought it!! That is a waste of taxpayers dollars for all these years!! It's really all wasted because nothing has ever been done to the property!!
It is just like you said. A total time capsule. I know this comment will date me. I am in my 40s but people like me and maybe you someday will yearn for a more simple time, way of life. What a great video. You kept it interesting and explained without you are your friend trying to be the show. Well done men
*Flips on light in abandoned house. *Causes electrical fire. Lol Great video!! Thanks for getting into the details!! Opening drawers and cabinets makes it so much more interesting than those urbexers that just "pan the room"
Great uploads lately. That is an old 60's pontiac firebird and that car would be saved by any gearhead in a heartbeat. If you have a gearhead friend you could let them know about this. I could have it running in a few hours bar anything catastrophic 👍🏽
those can openers have a knife and scissor sharpener on the back side. Having the bedroom in the sitting area must be from health and unable to do the stairs before one of them passed. That might not be a separate living quarters. Some families have a basement like that for holiday get togethers for a the family
Thanks for keeping this place under wraps. We were surprised to find the owner outside doing yardwork while we were inside. Thankfully we didn't spook each other haha.
Go back and open that fridge in the basement. Seriously though, what a gem of a find you got here! Car looks like a late 60's Pontiac Firebird. Awesome explore!
I am getting old because I remember my grandmaw having a tv like the old one shown in the video. Can remember turning it off and on just to watch that little light go out. Thanks for the memory. Great job on the video. Enjoyed. God bless.
That is actually really sad. There was I once a family that lived there. I wonder why the remaining family didn't take the stuff for memory sake. So sad 😞
Thank you for the trip down memory lane crossing over several decades... I have a book with this house in it, but the details are limited to preserve the location. I appreciated you doing the same. I'm obsessed with that blue bedroom, as it reminds me of my grandmother very much. Seeing this whole walkthrough is a blessing to have found. I remember my grandmother warming up my clothes on metal radiators like those before school in the winter. The first floor bedroom reminds me of their multi-unit house where both had first floor bedrooms (including mine) off the living room and my uncle's off the kitchen...seems odd now but it was a thing then. The main kitchen didn't resonate as much with me because it was before my time, but the basement (makeshift apartment) kitchen did. The yellow fridge, the table and chairs there... They all felt familiar. The most nastalgic thing for me (but was not a surprise) aside from the blue bedroom, was the Hoover vacuum. When you asked if it would turn on if plugged in, I responded "Yes it will". 😅 Hoover and Kirby vacuums were our competition. My grandfather owned an Electrolux store. While (obviously) I believed, and still do, that Electrolux was the best out of the three brands, I had no doubt that baby would start....so thanks for trying! (I knew it would fail at sucking anything up, that brand wasn't THAT good 😂). In my daydreaming heart, that Pontiac, with a charged battery, will start too 🥰 What a beautiful abandoned home tour. This has to be one of my favorites. You made my day to have brought so much back and also connect so many dots for me in regards to the picture I cherish most in this book I have (and the whole reason I wanted it). 🩵💙 🙏🏼 Thank you 🥰
At 8:59, that's an old coffee can. I was surprised to see the TV was on in the beginning of the video. Actually it's surprising that there's power in that building at all. I mean it makes no sense, in today's day and age the electric company is so quick to cut your power off if you don't pay the bill, but yet you have this house that's been abandoned for Lord knows how many months or years and it has power. Ass backwards, that's what that's called. At 10:26, at the very top it says adhere to door jam near chime, it must have been an electric chime of some sorts cuz it looks like you can select what song you wanted it to play by the letter that corresponds to it. At 21:17, Beta Tapes were out, they were smaller than VHS tapes but had less run time. Actually it was VHS and LaserDisc (if people remember hearing about those), that won out Beta Tapes. LaserDisc were basically record sized DVDs. They were huge discs that played movies. Eventually the VHS won out all of them, Beta Tape and LaserDisc lost to the VHS.
Great video, there was a couple spots you missed or maybe you looked into them but they weren't interesting so didn't make the video. But upstairs in the bedrooms there were storage rooms behind little "half doors". One was painted blue the same as the wall so hard to see, the other was a brown door. Also the stairs that went down to the basement there was a door at the top of the stairs off to the left. Might have just been a broom closet or contained a fuse box or something, not sure, but the door was wallpapered just like the wall so it blended in and wasn't easy to spot. Also, under the two joysticks was a boxed cartridge for a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A computer, which was very common in the early 80's because they sold dirt cheap due to a price war between Commodore and just about everyone else in the home computer business.
oh, this is quaint and beautiful capsule in time and space continium. very unique tastes and creations are abound in these genuine abodes, and places xo.
The ice age movie is odd that was made in 2002 which means someone was in that house then. Even more strange the papers laying on the desk up stairs from 83 was it? Which means the papers were likely laying on the desk for over 19 years.
There was a more modern outlet timer in one of the drawers, too, and all the outlets are 3-prong, which was added to the electrical code in 1969. Weird house. Also there’s a box for a 75 inch 4K TV in barn. Don’t know how abandoned the barn is…
I am so jealous, I would love to buy that house just to have what was left behind. The sink is fabulous. First bedroom upstairs, you didn’t open the little door. 😮

Wow it's unbelievable I think Americans have lots of money cuz it doesn't happen in India Here is nothing abandoned Because of our population and poverty But your channel is amazing I'm Enjoying all of your videos
No. There are millions and millions living in poverty. The US is just super wasteful and doesn't care about the environment they're helping to destroy.
Some of it isn't even the population doing it. In a lot of cases there's legal reasons which end up lasting past the point of being able to repair it without going broke if it can even be repaired or believe me I have a few friends that would snatch one of these amazing homes up.
It's a late 60s 1st generation Firebird (Pontiac version of a Chevy Camaro). You should find a car guy to go back and investigate this. If it's truly abandoned a car enthusiast would probably like to rescue this car.
That’s exactly why these guys who explore don’t reveal the locations. That car is free for anyone to take. It belongs to someone. From what he said in the beginning it belongs to the government.

Whoa, I love the basement with all the plants. It must have been a beautiful romm back then.
I wish I could do an Exploration tour 🤗
Feeling those vibes etc.❤
Such an incredibly lucky find! Thank you so much for documenting an amazing look into history. I wish more people were as respectful of these places as you are. The lack of intentional destruction there really makes it feel like you've stepped right back to the day they left.
Really love this house. The colors & archways were very 1930s. The1970s Hoover vacuum hose was not attached to the bag compartment, so that sent dust & paint chips flying. Hopefully that wasn’t lead paint.
I noticed the hose unattached too!
don't do it,I was thinking!
Awww the letter from the husband was a nice touch.
I really enjoyed this explore. Thank you for taking us all along. 🏴
This one was really awesome to see, amazing finds everywhere ❤😮
This is an awesome find! The t.v. blew my mind! Awesome work. Love abandoned places. That sewing table is really nice.
Very cool find with power still on. Car is a '69 Firebird as far as I can tell, very similar to '69 Camaro in body style, worth a few bucks!
Damn I am super jealous. Also that’s a 1969 Pontiac firebird
You know you’re old when the ‘80’s stuff doesn’t seem old!
Yes! And when some of it is labeled "vintage/antique" by the person recording it...reminds me how young they are 😂. I get a kick out of that in videos like these.
Really great video. I think the car was a Pontiac Grand Am. Too sweet!
Beautiful how you captured lives of ppl from the past in your videos you're awesome at it
I love everything about this old house!!
Lol
Great video!! Thanks for getting into the details!! Opening drawers and cabinets makes it so much more interesting than those urbexers that just "pan the room"
Same here,hi Nicole happy holidays to you 🎉
Great uploads lately. That is an old 60's pontiac firebird and that car would be saved by any gearhead in a heartbeat. If you have a gearhead friend you could let them know about this. I could have it running in a few hours bar anything catastrophic 👍🏽
ALWAYS turn the engine by hand; make sure it hasn't seized...
those can openers have a knife and scissor sharpener on the back side.
Great video, 11:28 perfume smell 🤣
LMFAO MY FAV
Go back and open that fridge in the basement. Seriously though, what a gem of a find you got here! Car looks like a late 60's Pontiac Firebird. Awesome explore!
That's probably where the homeowner is!
Wow! Great time-capsule! A little museum.
It’s incredible. Hi Christine happy holidays to you 🎉
Neat to see abandoned house that hasn't been trashed.
Now that's a time capsule. Very cool. Lots left behind. Surprised their kids didn't take most of it.
I watch other abandoned home videos & it is so sad that families just leave everything behind. Everybody wants new today.
Much better than the last time I seen this place (dont remember who).
Yours is more thorough.
Thanks Devin! 👍👍👍
So sad 😞
Holy WoW .. what an amazing find... and you presented it brilliantly too...
What an awesome place. I love the fact that the Hoover still worked!😊
So many amazing antiques left behind also.....
love how you find beauty in decay❣
In my daydreaming heart, that Pontiac, with a charged battery, will start too 🥰
What a beautiful abandoned home tour. This has to be one of my favorites.
You made my day to have brought so much back and also connect so many dots for me in regards to the picture I cherish most in this book I have (and the whole reason I wanted it). 🩵💙
🙏🏼 Thank you 🥰
"I don't know if that's age or people just smelled really bad back then." LOLOLOL!
Sorry but I laughed so hard with the look on your face when you smelled the old perfume! Classic.
This reminds me very much of the home we grew up in.
That Pontiac Firebird is beautiful. The house is spooky. IT looks like they just disappeared. I mean the beds are made, the table set. Just eerie.
That was an amazing find. Loved the sheep accompaniment it really added a lifelike quality, lol.
I like the blue paint and the old firebird 😎😎😎
Awesome video footage & find ! And that car so awesome too. 🤗❤ Love the scenery & cute sheap. 🐑
Greetings from Ireland. What an amazing find. Your best in ages xxx
Yes,that IS a very old washing machine in the laundry room. Wow,this is another cool video👍
What a find! Love your explores. You should have more Subs. Always open the fridge last and never smell the perfume.☺
This is totally heartbreaking!!
Don’t know how abandoned the barn is…
Also a magnet calender from 2011 on the fridge.
Fantastic video. One of your many best. Loved it !!!
That's a nice looking farm house wow bless 🙏💯
I am so jealous, I would love to buy that house just to have what was left behind. The sink is fabulous. First bedroom upstairs, you didn’t open the little door. 😮
Hello Jacqueline. How are you doing?
Happy holidays
Just came across your channel..love your integrity & respect as you explore! Absolutely love this little farm house ❣️
Wish the notification had waited until 5 minutes to go! 🤣🤣
I'll be there with bells on!
Wow! The car is a Firebird! Worth some money. 😃 Thanks for the video.
Just wow what a find
Thanks for showing it to us
They are still there... drinking coffee.. watching the sunrise... listening to the news (the energy is thick in that place i bet)
Heyy..very good everything this you video,,like that. Peoples left this house,,sad,,everything remains,,😔🍃🍃〰️〰️〰️🥀🕊🕊🕊⌛🛋,,but this memory is good. Thank you very much this program. Byee and see next time. 👋🥀🍃🌅〰️〰️
You closed the kitchen cabinets I hope. That is a pretty farm house! I love the kitchen!!
Same here the kitchen looks good. Happy holidays 🎉
Wow it's unbelievable
I think Americans have lots of money cuz it doesn't happen in India
Here is nothing abandoned Because of our population and poverty
But your channel is amazing I'm Enjoying all of your videos
No. There are millions and millions living in poverty. The US is just super wasteful and doesn't care about the environment they're helping to destroy.
Sad how much goes to waste here in America. Sending love your way!
Some of it isn't even the population doing it. In a lot of cases there's legal reasons which end up lasting past the point of being able to repair it without going broke if it can even be repaired or believe me I have a few friends that would snatch one of these amazing homes up.
@GlobalDataConspirator If there are unpaid back taxes then the county owns it and probably didn't auction it off.
@@natashalove7016 I watch a lot of urbex videos. If you pay close attention you can figure out exactly where most of these places are. I know where this is and I got confirmation, but like you said I won't tell. Another article came out about this exact car and it's location.
Great find, thanks for sharing!
Awesome video as always. You guys are terrific!!I ordered more tabloids and magazines for my collection yesterday evening,a batch from the 70-80s early 80s.I may get more later before or after dinner cause well, why not!!!???🤗
Amazing Pontiac Firebird ! Probably 1967...
