The fan at the back is similar to the 1978 Brabhams Alfa Romeo BT 46B "fan car"; that was designed by Gordon Murray, which fan caused downforce. The car won it's initial GP with Niki Lauda at Sweden. While this is "just" another hypercarr with huge price, it's from an iconic designer and engineer, it's why they sold so quick. Quite a few videos on TH-cam now and a few interviews with GM himself. Very interesting, but I'll need to stick to the kit 😊. Thanks Andy for all the videos.
I've never heard of this car, this Gordon Murray so this T.50 hyper car is really, really new! Mine is NOT going to be silver, I'm thinking either a bright copper or Blue Angels Blue would look really nice on this speedster. Other colors like Ultramarine Green or Guards Red would look right on the T.50 as well.
I'm getting definite Speed Racer vibes off this... As for going fast...I let my friend take a spin in my Lotus Esprit...I think I almost put a hole in the passenger side floorboards!
The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale had the same 3 seat layout, with the same center seat slighty forward. Beautiful kit, but I actually enjoy more the "normal car" kits, like the BMW 2002ti than these exotics. I'd kill for a kit of my Subaru Outback or a Chrysler Voyager :)
I was a bit disappointed by your summer kit. I did not want to buy another likewise Sherman. I will not buy that. I am excited for the Fall announcement
Hi Dan. Thank you for your feedback. There was a lot of demand for this version and production was able to be completed while the research and design of my Fall releases was being conducted. The new Sherman has been a great seller but I understand it may not be for everyone. Thanks for watching - Andy

Not quite, it wasn't banned, but Brabham agreed not to run the car anymore due to the protests.
While I'm not a car guy, with this one, I may make an exception.

Funny you paused to admire the springs, they are molded in a way that they actually compress and allowthe suspension to articulate.

But I was happy to see the PE, simply because that rear panel would look terrible in plastic.

Rear fan is reminiscent of the brabham fan car murray designed in the 70’s
And, the original sucker, racing in the late 60s CAN AM series, the Chaparral 2J.
And, the Mclaren F1 is another one of his designs. It had two secret fans for extra downforce.
