    He builds like nobody I've ever seen before! He makes a masterpiece out of a Tamiya kit with no engine!

    Ive been building models for over 40 years and my models are not even close to the details put forth on this video. The time and effort this person puts into this model it just amazing. Arigato gozaimasu for sharing. Aloha from Hawaii

    Thanks for sharing the excellent building tips.
    In video 9:06, you first spray Tamiya LP11(silver) on the chassis surface.
    And then in video 9:20, you spray Gaia GS-02 white primer over
    the layer of silver paint. As a result, there are two layers of paint on the chassis surface.
    The first layer is "silver" paint and the second layer is the "white" primer.
    Why don't you just only spray one layer of the white primer?
    Is there any special reason that you spray the silver paint before
    spraying the white primer?
    Thanks.

    It's already very impressive to be able to create the model so accurately with the smallest details never forgotten, but to do it all at a master level while having a camera in between your work and your body must add a whole other level of difficulty! This is amazingly well built, as well as masterfully filmed and edited. I'd like to consider myself somewhat decent at model making, but this work is far beyond anything I could do, especially without my face 5 inches away from what I'm working on lol.

    • @mokeipaint
      @mokeipaint  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you. When I shoot videos using this method, it takes two to three times as long to make a model as it normally would. The camera gets in the way when I'm making models, but I wanted the viewers to experience the feeling of making the models themselves😀

    Truly exceptional. An extreme level of detail. A curiosity. It would be nice to build two models (same car). One with your exceptional craftsmanship and customization and the other without customizations by exactly following the instructions and materials attached to the model. By placing them alongside them, your skill would stand out even more.

    I noticed you are using the PS-270 0.2 airbrush on the chassis. Just wondering if there is a reason? I also have the airbrush and noticed it does really well with metallic paints on smaller parts.

    • @mokeipaint
      @mokeipaint  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you. I often use the 0.2mm airbrush for parts with many uneven surfaces, such as chassis and interior parts. 0.3mm air brushes tend to collect mist on uneven surfaces. If you reduce the air pressure of the 0.2mm airbrush a little and add a little more thinner to the paint, it will be less likely to become a mist😀👍

    how do you film this? do you have multiple cameras on tripods or just one mounted on your head or upper body? is the camera in macro mode and you have to constantly pay attention that everything is in the frame? or do you film with a high resolution camera and then enlarge the picture afterwards?
    i mean the modelling part is so much work in its own and then you have to also pay attention, that everything is filmed properly. wow! just wow! love it!

    • @mokeipaint
      @mokeipaint  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I have the pipe that holds the camera fixed to my desk. A fixed arm dedicated to the camera is attached to it so that the position of the camera can be changed. I use my iPhone or smartphone camera to shoot videos. I use one camera for video recording. I would like to use a high-performance single-lens reflex camera with good resolution, but the camera's fixed position is restricted and the amount of data is large, making video editing difficult. The drawback of smartphone cameras is that they cannot zoom in much. Recent smartphones include high-performance models equipped with Leica cameras. Sometimes a smartphone camera is better than a cheaper SLR camera. Currently, the resolution and color quality of the camera I'm using isn't very good, so I'm considering what kind of camera to buy in the future.

    For the viewers...
    Don't question yourself for hearing nothing during the vid.
    It's not your hearing problems it's just it's stripped of almost any sound.
    Questions for the builder...
    1 I think I saw some pieces placed without glue like the headlights. Is this the case or did I miss something?
    2 How long did the build take?
    3 What is this yellow kind of putty and why on 1:14:03? Is it different from the TAMIYA polyester putty you used earlier?
    4 Why didn't you sand TAMIYA's print on the inside of the car's roof?
    After such hard and meticulous work, it seems like a big neglect.
    5 4 What the hell is that thing you put in the roof hole in the end?

    The final result is more realistic than the 1/1 scale version! 😅 You might as well go all the way, build a 1/24 scale gasoline engine, and find a 1/24 scale person to take it to the 1/24 scale track! I love detail, the welds you did in the unibody blew me away.

      The tweezers I use are bamboo tweezers. They have been used in Japan for over 400 years. These bamboo tweezers are used to make traditional Japanese crafts. You can buy them on Amazon Japan.
