This channel got me back in to models. I didn’t have fun at first because I didn’t have skills. Then it hit me. Who cares? I do it for fun. After that the pressure was gone.
When I see folk showing off their sloppy models, I never think what a piece of ****.. it's the best of their ability (at the moment) and they enjoyed doing it. And, that's what it's all about. I've watched Andy from nearly the start and the amount he has improved is impressive. Practice makes perfect right.
Same here. I enjoy building models and after a while I don’t care if it turned sloppy, ruined or unfinished. My hands don’t cooperate as well as they used to 20 years ago. I enjoy building models. They’re not for a show.
@josephbicknell6522 i seem to enjoy the 1/16 scale more than 1/35. Probably because I can see easier at the larger scale. That being said. My lord do I go through more sanding sticks and glue. Not complaining. I love the hobby.
You will always find modelers that are better than you but modeling is not about them, it’s all about you. Did you enjoy the build, did you learn anything new with the build and has your modeling improved. Enjoy!
Waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. I am so excited...I am feeling like a 2 year old looking at all the presents under the tree.... my fingers just clutching and unclutching. This will make a super dio with my 251/1. coveted into a 251/9. I'm looking forward to this year. It's going to be a concentrated year...no more watching sports...well at least until the college football guys start again. I would like to thank Andy, Mr Werks, The Academy, and all of the little people for my cracked and super glue dried out hands....So see yes Virginia there is a Santa(aka. ANDY !)
Its only just been released. Many hobby resellers will have this kit soon. I'm in Oz and have never bought directly from Andy however, that does not been I don't have a few Das Works 1/16 kits ....or any of Andy's releases in my stash. Be patient and you too can get this great kit.
For me it’s not a kit il be taking on I have the other version and it’s a battle. It’s not a tank. I think Sherman easy eight from trumpy over this for me. I have the Andy - tiger 1, Achilles and also shermy to finish off

How would you simulate weight on the front wheels?
What are the differences between the 251/22 & 250/1?
Andy, does anyone do figures for this kit yet?
Andy, going to put in some figures?
When can we expect them from AHHQ Europe
Sublimes
Aren't you going to weather it?

That heavy breathing is kinda annoying it would be better next time no sound enduring those segments.
