Good trail, I like coming down the switchbacks. Last time I did it was probably around 5 years ago, and in my truck. I frequent a hiking forum and I know there are always people inquiring about the condition of the roads. Pretty sure the forest service keeps up the maintenance for access to the trail heads back there for hiking into the wilderness area. I myself, wish the maintenance was kept as minimal as possible, but you can't please everyone. :) nice video.
Thanks! Last fall the trail was much worse on the NE side. Part of it was very washed out. They put a lot of work into it and didn’t even recognize the particular section this time around. They also graded the switchbacks to an extent. Filling in a bunch of the ruts.
Well done…having just driven the road I found it to be a lot rougher than what I see in offroad videos….loved the technical parts….not so much the shelf/roads….lol
Hi. I've watched and enjoyed several of your videos. I enjoy that you go to some beautiful and interesting places. I live up near Kingman. If you're ever up in this area, I'd love to get out and run some trails with you. What year is your Jeep and how close to stock is it?. Anyway, thanks for sharing the videos.
Thanks for watching! My Jeep is a 2021 Rubicon Diesel. It is 100% factory with exception of a few off road lights and a GMRS radio. I travel between PHX and Vegas so in that area occasionally. I did some trails just South of Kingman a few months ago. I made a video of it. Yucca Mine trail. Pretty cool place to checkout. What type of vehicle are you running? Any good trails up that way that you have done?
@@Trail89Adventures My current rig is a 2018 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium with some mild mods. One of them being three inches of lift, to get up away from trail obstacles. I've lived in this are for over 30 years, and can tell you there are a lot of interesting trails around here. Everything from mild to very difficult. I don't do the real hard trails, any more, but really enjoy getting out and seeing the beautiful countryside. There's a fun trail that runs from highway 68, just above Bullhead City, all the way to Oatman, Az. and a nice run, in the Hualapai mountains, up to the Copper World mine, just to mention a couple. Anyway, I'd love to get out and get the tires dirty with you some time.
@@Trail89Adventures Hi, Todd. I had some computer issues and in cleaning up, my YT channel got borked so, I had to redo it. Just checking in to let you know. I'm still interested in getting out and running some trails with you. Thanks
There is another loop trail in the center of montana mountain called Pucker Ridge that is a little more challenging but fun. I had to google what you guys are calling queen creek canyon, I know it as marble mine trail, which is a great trail.
Kevin, in this particular video I have AllTrails running on my phone but most of the time I am running GAIA GPS. I have found a few trails on AllTrails but I feel that app is better suited for hiking. I generally rely on the TrailsOffroad app which which you can upload trails into GAIA GPS. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching.
@@kevinwillard7450 Some great trails out that way for sure! Montana Mountain is a great trail. Long trail with fantastic scenery. Thanks for watching. Enjoy!
Thank you for making great video content showing the many off-road trails in AZ.
You are welcome. Thanks for watching! I am just scratching the surface….
@@Trail89Adventures there are so many great trails! Hope to run into you sometime in the future. ✌🏼

Yes, it is! The loop is made up of three trails. FR172, FR172A, and FR650.
Nice job ride it once a month👍
Yeah that is a good trail. Have run it a few times. Thanks for watching.

Can these trails be ridden on a dual sport or adventure motorcycle?
I don’t have experience with riding either of those but the video shows most of the harder spots of the trail.
@@Trail89Adventures I’m saying do I need a permit or anything?
@@Statewidecarpet this trail does not require any type of permit.

That sounds cool. Stock Rubicon capable?
i would not mind doing this trail one day.
Is that a Ham Radio I see mounted in your vehicle? If so, what is your call sign?
Actually it is GMRS not Ham. Don’t have Ham license but might get one in the future.
Do you have the 3.6 or the diesel in your jeep?
It’s the diesel.
