This is a manure pile. Children are NOT in charge. Parental consent is required and most trans kids have a team of clinicians making recommendations and discussing benefits and risks with the entire family.

@otha cindy When parents are being emotionally manipulated that if they don't do this the kids will kill themselves? Is that an informed decision? It isn't true. You support your child's distress and connect. Name one person in the UK that killed themselves simply because they did not get puberty blockers after the Kiera Bell decision?

I'm glad I got an ad for this video. At the age of 13 I had to choose between my two parents, and that choice alone has screwed with me, so a choice of this size would do so much worse to any kid around that age. You don't know the future, and you don't understand anything about the world or yourself even, your just a kid until you have the world punch you like it did me, and then you begin to learn. It takes a lot of time to figure it out, it takes a lot of time to figure yourself out. Nobody, and I mean nobody should let anybody or anything try and convince them to let their young and easily mislead and misguided child make a decision greater then that of a class they'll take in school. Otherwise, you alone might have signed your childs own death warrent with your two hands.

Those procedures cause such severe side effects through every body system. When I first started hearing about gender reassignment for children I kept thinking HOW can this possibly work? How come no one is talking about all those side effects? It can't magically be that they disappear just because the patient is getting gender reassignment instead of having cancer or kidney failure. This movie makes clear to me that those well-known side effects do NOT disappear. These poor, poor children. My heart is breaking with this.

Please speak up again and again and again. Tell the world what you know, which they don't know. If everyone with specialist knowledge speaks up we WILL win (Kara Dansky). I am a Transwidow: I have watched the mental and physical breakdown of my then husband, encouraged by psychiatrists, and I endured his gas-lighting over 12 years. He was an adult and so must take some responsibility for his criminal actions. Children are lured by AGPs like my husband into making irreversible changes to their bodies through puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries. We have not talked NEARLY enough about the recklessness, no the CRIMINAL responsibility of the medical practioners: the psychiatrists/psychologists, endocrinologists and surgeons carrying out these grotesque experiments. They have abandoned the first principle of medicine: "First of all, do no harm". Their morals are those of the Nazi doctor Mengele: they are happy to produce deeply disturbed, permanently damaged adults. I see the medics as torturers of deeply deluded adults. Please copy and paste elsewhere if you agree.

Same, except I didn't have a baby. It can take a lot to love oneself as a female in this world - we all already know this - and being gender nonconforming isn't a symptom of needing medical intervention. Some males can also hate themselves as males, especially if they're feminine or never were allowed to feel their emotions or express themselves outside the very limited stereotypes for males...it doesn't require surgery/hormones, it requires deep soul-searching and healing, self-acceptance. You're right, God doesn't make mistakes. When I was about 16, I wanted to cut off my breasts (this was almost 20 years ago), or at least bind them. I wanted to look androgynous, I didn't want to be seen as female. I remember looking in the mirror and knowing, I will never be male, and I'm not going to destroy my body to be something other than what I am, so I'm going to wait and see what happens. I'm so glad transgenderism wasn't something being pushed at that time, because I could've been swayed.

The truth is, no one really knows how these treatments are going to affect kids in the long run. It's completely irresponsible to promote puberty blockers and cross sex hormones for kids without knowing the long term effects of these treatments. Let's stop shouting and start talking about this. I haven’t heard if any people who have come to realise they made a mistake by transitioning as kids and young adults in 12 months or under, which is why the US is likely not already seeing law suits. Maybe legislators need to carve out an exception to this 12 month rule so these detransitioners can have their day in court and tell these healthcare practitioners how badly they let them down and damaged their bodies.

It’s also absurd to assume only children know themselves because children don’t know themselves. They’re still learning who they are. We need to focus more on why our children get it into their heads that "because they play with [this] toy they are/aren't male/female." If a child like a truck or a doll, the only thing is means is that 'my child likes a truck/doll.' Society is the one that says, 'oh, trucks are masculine.' Well, a different culture may say, 'trucks are feminine.' so why are we going to let society tell us what we are? We should be teaching our children that they can wear and play with whatever they want and it doesn't make them any less or more a man or a woman. What else can their conception be of that into which they want to transition? It seems to me, at the very least, that if one wants to realize the ideal of "gender diversity" one can do so only by expanding the range within which one can be "male" while remaining biologically male (or female while remaining biologically female). I can't help but feel that, when it comes down to it, society will continue to sabotage itself until it has no other option but to slow down and ask itself why it was doing that in the first place, which won't be until people just can't take the pain anymore.

8:57 The therapist admits to immediately validating the dysphoria, and by her own admission her assessment is inherently biased, unprofessional and experimental. She uses no objective tool or measure in an evaluation, and if you listen, she um and ahs through this explanation of her practice, which I'm certain is not a "free" service! This abandonment of objective measures and self serving pseudo-scientific approach, is a problem across the board in mental health. Who holds these practitioners accountable for a lack of professionalism, and how do the patients know what is or isn't a reliable assessment, or an evidence based intervention? Without gaurdrails what's to stop a "professional" from exploiting a vulnerable child with suggestion and gaslighting.
"The way I would treat a patient with gender dysphoria is, is very unique to that patient. I think the, the primary goal that I have, when I'm first evaluating, a child who's coming in with gender dysphoria, is um, just getting a sense of how they're feeling, validating that feeling, um, and then kind of exploring where that might be coming from, whether or not there's any underlying sigh* issue or trauma or circumstance that may contribute, um, and then to have a really, a really um, (mouth shrug) sincere conversation with them and the family, SIGH*, about how we might want to move forward, sigh*, from there".
Screwing her lips sideways in a disclaimer expression, shoulders drooped, sighing, um, ah, rapid blinks. Why all the paraverbal dramatics around what should be high quality assessment tool that reduces the risk of observer bias? Wouldn't she want a QUALITY tool that ensures she isn't approving an intervention that involves the arrestment of sexual maturation, incredible risks to their physical health, and not to mention psychosocial development. Wouldn't she want a reliable method of ensuring she safeguards against sterilization eugenics?
I'm guessing the cagey reply and paraverbal dramatics are because she knows she's using an assessment method that lacks reliability and is rife with her own bias. She learned of these concepts in her own training, even if her industry is blatantly ethically corrupted. She has a legal obligation to report patient abuse as well, and she knows she's complicit in facilitating it.
    She knows it's malfeasance.

Michelle Forcier… one of the greatest threats to children who are or think they are transgender & their families. I listen to her talk & can’t fathom anyone takes her seriously. But they do! Which makes her that much more dangerous. These adults who aren’t helping these children mentally & emotionally first are destructive to these kids lives. Praying God will open others eyes to these evils & not allow them to continue this abuse on anymore children.

My understanding, Transgender is a movement, not a science at all.
The events are existing mostly in Western nations, where family lives are not solid and even having single parent.
If we could fix the family life - back again to God and love and forgive, then this sad events would be reduced dramatically.
