I'm currently leveling as 2H melee hunter, and I really enjoy the playstyle. Hoping it's as good as 1h's at 60. That's what I'm hearing, but I didn't get a chance to try it on the PTR.

You're the only guy I've seen talking about melee hunter atm in P4, everyone I know is fawning over the ranged build but I'm here thinking we have access to more instant melee attacks than anyone else in the game and I think 2H will be very strong.

Yeah we got alot of nice changes, i will go 2h on my main for sure. Sad people dont talk about it anymore :( guess they will be back if we become the top dps specc again xD

I think I’m going to try 2H. I’ve been farming Gorehowl but the Makeshift Oar is great from the Real vendor

Sadly, melee hunter is dead. Tried every variation and it dosent work. Bm hunter, melee weave and full melee. They dont come nowhere near the other dps.

@@AkiikA072 Yeah I've tried it with an OEB I got that no one else wanted and it's just sad compared to trap launcher and spamming CS/AS

Weird that they nerfed our melee runes, i wonder how good it was before. Might take a while but they will probably give us a buff

Joguei a phase 2 e phase 3 como meele hunter, estou fazendo diversos testes e ainda nao sei qual melhor spec. Ranged weaving que dizem eatar mais forte, para mim nao é uma possibilidade

Yeah my dmg feels pretty bad on ony, kaz and abit azuregos but in mc i felt kinda good until rag, in the middle and if there was aoe i was pretty high. In a pug tho

my hunter got the 2 set weapons from UBRS, so I want to get edgemasters+ring rune and try get my sword skill to 312 making the hit cap 5%, so I only NEED 2 pieces of hit from gear.
although being said Hit%=32ap
crit%=55ap
