Yeah it looks pretty bad now but it will take a while to get the gear needed to make that insane dps so i have faith that they will fix it before too much pain is inflicted on us

right now melee with bis naxx gear has low dmg in the sims, but i am sure they will buff it abit

@ been respeccing since p1 back and forth, mainly to not burn out. and the sims atm is just an added bonus

Hello, i know it feels weird but apparently is better to raptor unless u have fury stacked high i think it was but yeah hitting mongoose feels really good and is hard to resist haha

The difference between Lw and pet is about 30 dps in bis gear, bigger numbers are fun tho. Also u apply reck so warlock can do agony

Nice man :D well depends on gear, LW needs zg trinket to get a good opener, might be easier to get good BM gear since the 10man set is a big upgrade. Personaly i go surv/mm with pet so i can apply curse of reck for the raid, the difference in dps to LW is not very big

Your pets doing great damage I’ll definitely consider using a pet now with this spec. Do you use Beast mastery chest rune with this build?

Well most of the time I like having my pet and now when we have the change to the hit n run rune that gives your pet curse of reck it also provides something good for the raid. But i also like to change things up sometimes.

In this phase pet is better, broken tooth is not bad but a 2.0 speed cat will do more dmg with flanking. Hope it helps, feel free to ask more questions

U can go lone wolf but then u need the zg trinket so u can get a few flanking stacks in the begining. But when they added Curse of reck to the hit n run rune for your pet i stopped thinking about it since it helps the raid

I use cobra slayer for my hand rune yes. If u ment the cobra strikes chest rune then no, I use beast mastery. 😃

Yeah wish i had the 3 set on my alt, he is lagging behind pretty fast. I have 6p drac, 2p core and was lucky to get ring of qiraj fury, barbed choker, sadly no cthun axe has dropped yet

Depends abit on the guild but in a optimal set up dw is only 150ish dps lower in sims. But i would say also if your group have long killtimes then 2h is better all the way.

Nice man you mean in the early days when survival had some melee talents and lacerate or later? Love watching videos of the few people who did it in classic and so on. Did you get to raid? :D

Yeah i would not call it a bad set up, the sets still have great stats and the staff is strong. Sadly the serpent dont work well with the current flanking strike since your pet needs claw for faster cd resets, hopefully they change this soon. Should be easy to get weapon upgrades in bwl and when u get 2 and 4 set draconic u get a great boost in dmg. Happy hunting :D

I did film last raid with ashkandi but i have not posted it yet :D. Yeah 6set is better for 2h, i am still missing shoulders but mby i get it next raid

they changed Wyvern Strike to require 2 handed weapon recently sadly so it is better to be BM specc even with BiS gear now as a Dual wielder unless u really hate having a pet and wanna go lone wolf ofc.

Prio getting 3 stacks of flanking strike then raptor>mongoose unless 5 stacks of raptor fury then u prio mongoose. u rarely have space to use traps but sometimes with alot of targets it can be worth it to trap ofc. but i prefer to wait for another flanking proc and run the hit n run rune instead

and if u get 2 set dragonstalker u start going RS>MB>RS>MB while keeping up the flanking stack. since with 2 set raptor strike increases the dmg of the next other melee ability with 20%

@@Dreadpigmelee Does that mean that you afk melee autoshot at begining of the fight until you get your 3 stack of Flanking Strike ?

Well sometimes u are lucky and get them quickly and if u use the zg trinket aswell u will get the first 3 pretty easy. But u can do other abilitys inbetween, it can take a couple seconds before u get the flanking proccs, just that u try to get 3 as fast as u can

Been very unlucky with loot sadly but i really want to try it on one of my hunters, very unsure wich one tho

Hi, they have changed some of them in SoD to work with melee like crit and crit dmg

That would have been cool, it was not fun to run out to tranq last wensday

I dubble checked, pretty sure it is from deadly boss mods, make sure u have the version for SoD

I really like it, better then it felt in phase 4 and getting the t2 2set bonus really made my dmg jump aswell :D

Well most of the time it is better to wait for a flanking procc then to press trap or wingclip. I was also surprised by the 99 but it was pretty early aswell. I have seen people make such macros 😂

@Ma3dPrints hi, u can find macros and build in the description :3 i use a bm build with imp hawk now. but is mostly just the attack combined with pet claw, i spam raptor, mongoos while trying to keep flanking stack up. i have given up on traps close to 100%

Did u stop playing before that? I took a long break in phase 3 when my friends stopt playing

@@Dreadpigmelee I played most of phases 1 and 2, I stopped playing about halfway thru phase 3, and came back for like 3 weeks of phase 4. I stopped playing in p3 and p4 for the same reason, its tough refurbishing classic content for a modern playerbase and I just got bored after leveling and doing the main content like clearing MC. which isnt necessarily a blizzard problem, its more likely a me problem

@@Dreadpigmelee well we all making mistake , im new as melee hunter but : 1 Get BM build on single target boss and SV build on 2 AoE bosses (majordommo and Sulfuron ) 2 On AoE boss dont use a pet - get TNT , Carve and Lonely Wolf runes . YOu should do most of your dmg from explossive trap . Or even go ranget with trap launcher and explosive shot - why now ? you can di more like 3k dps 3 On single target you got a wrong pet , screech from you pet wont reset Flanking strike - only bite but got 10s big CD . Take CAT with claw only (dont take bite) for full spam . Claw will reset your Flanking strike 4 Your pet dying on Ragnaros few times . You got max FR talent on pet ? i think not 5 Change TnT rune on Raptor Fury on single target (but i think now ater buff you know that)

1/2 yeah doing this is much better, have been doing it in later raids 3 sadly i was late in noticing this, have had my bird since 45 and love him but with the lower dmg we do now i have changed and lvled up my old cat this weekend instead of teaching my bird claw 4 it is weird that he died so much but one was melee from rag i think, he does have full fire ress and have been dying less in other raids where i have been more careful 5 yeah love that they buffed raptor it feels so good to get super high mongoose crits when everything aligns haha Thank you bro! :D
