Haha no worries. I'll be happier once it's tested on a running car just to make sure nothing else is damaged but as far as I can tell it's good. I did consider trying to wire in a coil and a CAS to test fire it but I'm not sure I've got a good igniter here and that is a bit OTT anyway lol. Let me know how it goes though!
@@jdmjesus6103 ECU was working fine. I had some issues with coil packs and lost cyl 1. I pinned the board out and gave the diagnosis but I don't have the tools required to replace the components. Really impressed with the video mate and really appreciate the work!
Sorry, I meant something else *in the ecu*. Sometimes components can fail because other components have failed, like a cascade effect. Its highly unlikely with it being a daughter board like that, any other components further up the chain should all be included on there. It tests OK on the bench but I was just concerned once it has a load applied it might break again. like I say i just won't be happy until its running an engine again but I'm confident it's fixed.

I'm just glad the initial diagnosis was correct and I wasn't on a wild goose chase haha.
