@@TP_Recommendationsi mean.. i think you did make a video when KI tore down the SOB station after planning to do so for a year lol. Its all in the name of good fun and predictions
My first video regarding the old SOB plot of land came out around a year ago when I had a coaster concpet for a new B&M surf coaster being themed to King Cobra :) @@Adeuceinthejohn
Hey Brandon, I love your videos, but for some reason I've noticed that I don't see them in my suggestions anymore I physically have to go seeking them out, which is something I don't mind doing, but ever since your channel changed names this has been happening. What's even weirder is I was subscribed to receive notifications when you post, but it actually stopped happening. I had to go and re-click the notification bell. I just wanted to tell you in case you've noticed a drop-off in viewership for your videos, because maybe other people are experiencing the same thing
Thank you so much for sharing this. Yes I believe that once you change your channel name it’ll take a while for TH-cam to really catch on so that’s what I expect what’s happening but I appreciate the support and thank you for the dedication.
I have several parks on my list that could build an RMC T-rex. 1. Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina 2. Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas 3. Kings Island in Mason, Ohio 4. Heide Park in Soltau, Germany 5. Lagoon in Farmington, Utah 6. Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois 7. Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri 8. Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania 9. Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey 10. Dreamworld in Queensland, Australia 11. Nagashima Spa Land Keuna Mie, Japan 12. Six Flags Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico 13. Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota
Most of these parks already have hypers or other large coasters with ejector airtime, so I'm not convinced they'd bite. Lagoon and Dreamworld would be interesting possibilities, though.
Magic Mountain they already have twisted collosus and wonder woman. If they want to work with RMC again its that or a kiddie coaster. Also Magic Mountain seriously needs a Airtime coaster Goliath isn't cutting it.
I think it makes sense for Herschend or Hershey to get one. Everyone clings to the 500 ft statement from years ago. Just because they can doesn’t mean they will. Dollywood is a great candidate I could think of to get a hyper or Giga Trex. I could see BGT going with a Giga RMC Trex down the road too
I think that Busch Gardens Williamsburg could open one. They have the space, they don't already have an RMC, and they have recently filed a height permit for a new ride on the old drachen fire plot of land that was approved for about 220ft. If they opened this, it would be the largest single rail in the world, it would fit perfectly in their lineup, and it would be great contrast from the rest of the park. It could also be one of the strongest 1-2 punches in the world, with it and Pantheon.
They probably won't want to take the risk on a huge prototype, though. A ground-up hybrid - think a beefed-up Zadra - seems more likely for the Drachen Fire site.
@@PancakeJar_Lover Yes, and it's possible a T-Rex might be seen as too similar to Jersey Devil. We really need something like Zadra stateside - none of the current large RMCs are anything like it.
Something I wonder is whether or not the T-rex will actually be a cheaper option than its competitors. RMCs have generally been more affordable than thrilling coasters from Intamin, B&M and the more thrilling MACK coasters. But that is partly because the I-Box coasters are usually cheaper since they can utilize existing footers and to some extent they can use existing structure and the Raptors are on a small scale. But coasters like the hyper hybrids and some of the Topper track coasters have been more expensive. But if the T-rex is cheaper than similarly sized alternatives then I think Six Flags might buy one as their entry to the giga world. And if they are cheaper and reliable then they could probably be a huge game changer. But if they are just as expensive I could see people defaulting to B&M due to reliability and capacity.
I dont really see the possibility of anything like this unless if its much smaller. Nearly nobody other than cedar fair can afford a giga (or taller), and even if they could its very unlikely theyd go with a prototype
Hey Matt, hope you are well.. what people often forget is that I know a ton of people who are a part of the industry or work for the parks. I can respectfully only share about 25% of the info that I get told. (but I can hint at it) So people can still think that about me... but remember this...Those same people said the same things when I said Dragster was getting a spike, Fun Spot Atlanta building a MAJOR RMC. I -Box, Carowinds going full-time operations, Lightning Rod removing the launch before the end of the year, etc.
It would be cool if Kentucky Kingdom got one, but that wouldn’t happen in a million years. There’s not much room there but they should get a new coaster soon since T3 closed
Great Advenure isnt getting one any time soon, their 2025 coaster is already going to be an incredible coaster. I think after that they arent going to get another major coaster until 2030.
I think SF Great America is going to get a single rail for their 50th anniversary coming up. It'll probably be a Jersey Devil/Wonder Woman clone.... But it is the closest SF to me so I can dream.
For me this isn’t the most highly anticipated coaster model. Might be for some but not me. I’m looking forward more for the S@ S axis coaster and the new gen Vekoma tilt coaster.
I am really sad to say this, since my home park is Six Flags Great Adventure, but I don't think they will be getting a T-Rex anytime soon. Although you are correct, they are going in unpredictable ways and they are probably getting a coaster in 2025, there are 2 redeeming reasons why they are probably not getting it: 1. Kingda Ka. The reason why I am saying this is being the T-Rex model is supposed to be preferably for 500ft endeavors. Although it is possible that your saying is correct, that it can be 200 ft and higher, Rocky Mountain Construction stated that it is mostly for 400 or 500 feet heights. Since Kingda Ka is the tallest coaster in the world, why would they bother? 2. Jersey Devil. Yes, I know you said this, but it is basically the same concept, the same manufacturer, at the same park. Especially with RMC, which they rarely put more than one rmc in parks, I do not see this coming. The Intamin Giga Rumors is probably more redeeming for 2025, since Six Flags is starting to work with Intamin more after they announced a new ultra splash to Six Flags Over Georgia. I could definitely see the possibility.
It’s not gonna happen. Kings Island doesn’t want me to have a coaster taller than 300 ft. Case in point: Orion. They had the opportunity to make it the tallest giga ever, and yet they decided to make it less than 300 feet tall.
Hmm, I'm not so sure... I think this would be an expensive development for a park to sign up to and I don't see any parks jumping to do so anytime soon. Busch Gardens Tampa probably the most likely but lots of these I'd rule out. Energylandia I just don't see it, they've built very few non-Vekomas and they really need to focus on cleaning up the mess that they've made rather than expanding outwards more and more... there's so much of that park that's not up to scratch and sooo many family coasters! I think Heide Park is also unlikely, I think Merlin are too tight with their spending for this, they're way more likely to go for something cheaper like a European-first-clone of something already developed. If we see one built before 2027 I'd be surprised!
If Busch Gardens Tampa gets a T-Rex, they will have the best top 2 in the world. Not even close. You could also go as far as to say that BGT has the best coaster lineup, despite lacking in quantity. It's that good.
Exciting! So Hershey is a home park, and sometime around candymonium planning I heard about a 220ft height limit so how would a park deal with that in getting something large?
You seem pretty confident that the T-Rex will be a top coaster, I’m not sure it’ll be any better than the current raptors so I’m less sold on a lot of these parks making that investment. Someone random will probably take the bait and everyone else will see how it fares.
Carowinds needs to add a new coaster. Vortex & Nighthawk were both down my last visit. Nighthawk is not reopening until March 2024. T-rex would look amazing in the middle of that park. Doubt it will happen though. Carowinds still has the original Hurler running.
(2:00)The T-Rex isn't in development either. RMC's Scott Voyles on the T-Rex: th-cam.com/video/3G1Cvn6CZe4/w-d-xo.html Gotta love Brandons passion though.
There's a serious problem with T-rex, judging by the trains, the track in those simulations must be 4-5 feet wide and 5-6 feet feet tall! RMC did display a larger track section, but nothing even close to that. At the least, the track would be flatter. I think they could use their methods to make a B&M-like central spine to use with IBox style rails, for when the lattice style and box truss structures become too limiting.
I can see Dollywood going for it and a T-Rex in that setting would be so incredibly striking visually. I'm definitely here for it. We'll see how the Lightning Rod situation works out, but I think it'll be just fine. Don't know about Energylandia. They seem to have been in the mode of quantity over quality for a while now, like they are only interested in having the most coasters and not having the best coasters. I could see either King's Island or Cedar point getting one, but I could also see Magic Mountain getting one for 2028 depending on what other parks have done. They'll want a record braking coaster for the Olympics.
this might have been true in the past for energylandia but don't forget they added Hyperion and 1 year later Zadra...2 of the best coasters in all Europe
Hard pass on Dollywood. After all the money they've sunk into Lightning Rod, the most they'd do with RMC again is a Blazing Fury overhaul. For a larger project, they'll want to see what Vekoma can do with their terrain.
Cedar Fair seems to be done with RMC, and while KI could use a steel coaster with ejector airtime, they'll probably get that in a multi-launch replacing Vortex. The only RMC project I might expect for the chain is an I-Box conversion of Prowler, but that'd be a one-off in about 10 years. As for Six Flags, Magic Mountain is NOT getting a T-Rex as their next coaster after adding a large Raptor. If they're looking at the Golden Bear Theater site, then a mid-sized B&M wing could be a great fit for the park.
A more appropriate record-breaking coaster for Magic Mountain is a B&M Dive replacing Viper. They desperately need a huge people eater to suck crowds from X2.
Progression my friend, simple progression! Just because your business or product faces some stumbling blocks you don't just quit and stand still...you figure it out, and you keep going, keep moving forward, keep progressing...and #KEEPRIDINGCOASTERS
@@huddyr1112 I totally agree. I just mean, make the natural progression of the Raptors first. Kinda like how Gerstlauer went seamlessly from the Euro Fighter to the Infinity.
I think SFOGA will get a Tex Model. They have the room and we have yet to get an actual new ground up roller coaster. I am not counting that thing they are building in place of splash waterfall, but that just shows they are willing to take a risk on first time rides ie, Coasters. I think this coaster would go in the steam punk district and travel on the out skirts of Gotham City. Or it can go in Lick Skillet.... I mean again we have the room to accommodate such a monstrous investment.
Cedar Fair: Kings Island, Canada’s Wonderland and Carowinds are a potential. Six Flags: Magic Mountain, Over Texas, and Over Georgia. Hershend: Dollywood and Silver Dollar City Sea World: Busch Gardens Williamsburg Other Parks: Holiday World, Silverwood, Lagoon.
the RMC Raptor (RailBlazer) has low capacity and is very whippy and this limits the people who enjoy riding it in the same way as Intimdator 305. I don't know about the Jersey Devil. I hope the T-Rex does not have these characteristics
SFMM need a Great RMC and T-Rex needs to go to SFMM cuz TC is the a horrible RMC New texans Giant, Iron Rattler and Joker i think is better, So T-rex would make sense keep SFMM as #1 Theme park in the world and adding the first ever T-Rex makes sense.
There was a time before the pandemic cedarpoint dropped a video and it had a whiteboard with 500ft? Something about magnum and milly and last was T-Rex
Wow, I honestly haven't watched any of your videos in a while, but this piqued my interest. I have to say your audio processing has greatly improved!! 👏
Six Flags Great Escape. I know it’s a long shot dark horse but with the park closing in on its 75th anniversary who knows. The park is already hinting at more improvements with the addition of THE BOBCAT for its 70th anniversary next year and will announce them in the next couple months. With Great Escape being the second oldest park in the chain. I feel the park will be getting attention for the next couple years including more flat rides and major improvements/refurbishments all leading up to the 75th. Then they can cap it off with a T-REX Hyper Coaster, 3 inversions and multiple airtime moments. Just let me dream 😂. I also think next year Six Flags will make the official announcement of the park becoming SIX FLAGS GREAT ESCAPE in stead of The Great Escape a Six Flags Theme Park.
I wish Kings Dominion would build the T-Rex as it would flow really good with the woodland area maybe to go in the old dinos alive plot. Twisted Timbers is very very popular among the KD general population. Twisted TImbers is always atleast an hour or more wait.
I definitely think that We're in a lull for the coaster industry. Quality additions for sure, but none of them are very large-scale. I think it's likely that the next two or three years will be insane.
Heide Park could really benefit from a T-Rex as the new top coaster for their lineup. But they did have issues with neighbour complaints regarding noise that went to court (I think more than once). So they might shy away from a really huge coaster.
My thoughts are the following: If a US park gets a T-Rex I think the following would be considered: BG Tampa BG Williamsburg Kings Island SF Great America SF Magic Mountain Dollywood International Parks I would consider: Fuji Q Highland Walibi Belgium If I had to guess the first one will either end up in a Six Flags or Sea World park if they end up being built. We can only hope.
Gotta give hope to my home park Cedar Point. Its been a while since they pushed the industry boundries and if they remove corkscrew (a bitter sweet move) they will have the space.
I hope great america actually has a chance, they havent gotten any new coaster for five years now, which is really strange for a park that generally get much more, so I'm hoping they are waiting for a massive investment soon in rmc eagle or this.
Heide Park would be great- It would fit to their coaster line up and to their strategy to add rides, the first, the fastest or the highest of Germany or Europe.
I'm mixed on the T-Rex, if RMC feels it's worth fully developing, SFMM is the only park in the US I could see building the first one. It's close enough to ID to work out any issues and it's one of the parks that desperately needs a Giga. SFGA would probably convert American Eagle if anything since that would be a no-brainer. Large roller coasters don't increase attendance like they used to so I'm not even sure if RMC is still interested in completing the development, I don't know if there is even a market for it. It's not a coincidence that everyone including RMC and B&M are developing both tamer and family coasters now.
@@Cat3465 I don't think SF would pay B&M $30mil+ for a giga. If SFMM is serious about the giga, RMC has the T-Rex ready and it's cheaper then I'm pretty confident it'll be an RMC. Otherwise I doubt they'll build one.
There are three other parks that I think this would be a perfect fit for. The first one is Six Flags Darien Lake. The park has plenty of space at the front where Chuda Falls used to sit, and if Six Flags wants something new and exciting for this park to bring in more visitors, a T-Rex coaster is the perfect choice for that. Two other parks that would be perfect fits for one of these are Wild Adventures and Kentucky Kingdom. If Herschend Entertainment is really working with RMC again and to show us that they're not neglecting these parks, they should be the next two locations to build one. At Wild Adventures, it should go where Cheetah sat as they've yet to replace it with something, while Kentucky Kingdom should build one in the back of the park where T3 and the abandoned amphitheater currently sit.
That plot at the front of DL would be more ideal for a Gravity Group family twister or Vekoma SFC. They are not getting another Hyper while they have Ride of Steel, as mediocre as it is. An RMC conversion of Predator, even with all the Titan track it's received, makes much more sense for DL than a T-Rex.
As for Herschend, Kentucky Kingdom doesn't really have space for a T-Rex. Raging Rapids isn't going anywhere, so T3 would probably be placed with a launched Vekoma coaster - maybe a Space Warp like Formula at Energylandia. And while Wild Adventures has the space, its primary market is families willing to stop in Valdosta on a drive from Atlanta to Orlando. I'm skeptical Herschend is willing to spend $15M on a coaster there, even with all the coaster investment in Central Florida.
A Vekoma Bermuda Blitz is probably the biggest addition we can expect for Wild Adventures. Herschend is developing it as a family park, so I think we can rule out any coasters over 150 ft tall. None of the FL parks would add a Vekoma multi-looper with a lift hill, and it's also a cost-effective response to ArieForce One. Adding a Bermuda Blitz would allow them to replace their Boomerang with a family Boomerang later on. Herschend likes what Vekoma's done for Dollywood, so they're going to try to fit as many of their coasters in their parks as possible. (Wild Adventures is basically the Vekoma Capital of North America anyway, haha) If they go with a ground-up woodie, a GCI like Zambezi Zinger would be an excellent fit there. But any RMC they build would have to be on the mild side. GA and FL both have two very intense RMCs. Adding a 200+ foot T-Rex doesn't help them attract more families going down to Disney.
personally, the most likely park to get it will probably be kings island or dominion. Cedar fair already has a great relationship after SteVe was built, and kings island needs a big and major coaster.
The only problem is RMC has tarnished their reputation with Cedar Fair because of Steel Vengeance… Remember when the train collided with the train in front of it?
@@MyLifeAsBrandon yeah but still those 2 parks could still have a choice to do it and have the most room, i mean eveb after SteVe they built twisted timbers so

Yea that fits Dollywood’s coaster profile
this might have been true in the past for energylandia but don't forget they added Hyperion and 1 year later Zadra...2 of the best coasters in all Europe
RMC is still having issues with the Raptors, then why would they go do a T-Rex?
Great prediction!!
That’s an amazing prediction. It can go where the Go carts is located and would give SFOG a world class RMC if built
@edwint3800 Not to mention, it will be just the coaster they need to one up Arieforce One.
@@mistere182 That’s another benefit for SFOG. It can make Fun Spot an obsolete place to go
Cedar Fair: Kings Island, Canada’s Wonderland and Carowinds are a potential.
Six Flags: Magic Mountain, Over Texas, and Over Georgia.
Hershend: Dollywood and Silver Dollar City
Sea World: Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Other Parks: Holiday World, Silverwood, Lagoon.
A world-class company RMC, with a world-class coaster T-Rex. Will only go to a world-class park Cedar Point. Especially now with the 6 Flags merger.
Energylandia ain’t the gonna be the roller coaster capital of the world they have like 6 kiddy coasters 😂😂😂😂
the RMC Raptor (RailBlazer) has low capacity and is very whippy and this limits the people who enjoy riding it in the same way as Intimdator 305. I don't know about the Jersey Devil. I hope the T-Rex does not have these characteristics
*Me watching this 8 months later*
👁️👄👁️
SFMM need a Great RMC and T-Rex needs to go to SFMM cuz TC is the a horrible RMC New texans Giant, Iron Rattler and Joker i think is better, So T-rex would make sense keep SFMM as #1 Theme park in the world and adding the first ever T-Rex makes sense.
I really hope Dollywood adds a T-Rex. Everything is tee’d up for it.
Hipefully theyve worked out the raptor kinks. Rode Jersey Devil, last week, and it was so rough conpared to when it first opened.
You've been saying that the TRex is coming FOR LIKE 5 BLOODY YEARS, ITS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.
I would guess SF Magic Mountain, SF Great Adventure or Energylandia. Sea World parks and Cedar Fair parks are more likely to work with B&M.
🤡 cp is and always will be the RollerCoast capital of the world! Not even close...their lineup is ridiculous.. I've been to all these parks too
Maybe Candas Wonderland, KI, and Carowinds get a 400ft trex since they have a hyper and giga
Busch Gardens Williamsburg has permits for something 200 feet tall in a plot of land they have
I definitely think that We're in a lull for the coaster industry. Quality additions for sure, but none of them are very large-scale. I think it's likely that the next two or three years will be insane.
Kbf
I hope Kings Dominion could get a Hyper T-Rex Coaster that would be awesome!
RMC: we can go 500'
INTAMIN pulls up to the chat...Hold My Beer!!!
Replace Blizzard River at Six Flags New England with the first RMC’s T-Rex. That way you can replace Goliath with a Marc power splash
Yes, Please!
Sleeping on canadas wonderland. We're the experimental park
It’s Carowinds
I’d love the see it
Cedar point, Will take out Corkscrew. Use that land and land where scrambler and Matterhorn. World record breaker. Never ever count cedar point out
I think Gemini will be removed first, it's sitting between 2 large plots of land
Cedar points next big coaster will be b&m, they need a big capacity low maintenance top 3 coaster
Dollywood needs this thing
please please modify those plastic buckets with leg/shin vices
With recent rmc troubles, I think b%m intamin and velcoma are going to take off more.
If Knotts had the space this would be wonderful for capacity
Six flags is getting a dive coaster not a t rex sadly
Heide Park could really benefit from a T-Rex as the new top coaster for their lineup. But they did have issues with neighbour complaints regarding noise that went to court (I think more than once). So they might shy away from a really huge coaster.
If a 500ft coaster endangeres magnum at cedar point then i dont want it.
Seeing a 500 foot coaster in the future is gonna be surreal.
Kings island should’ve been mentioned. Js.
My thoughts are the following:
If a US park gets a T-Rex I think the following would be considered:
BG Tampa BG Williamsburg Kings Island SF Great America SF Magic Mountain Dollywood
International Parks I would consider:
Fuji Q Highland Walibi Belgium
If I had to guess the first one will either end up in a Six Flags or Sea World park if they end up being built. We can only hope.
Great list
I'm so ready to see, and ride, a T-Rex model!!! Bring it!!!
I think it will go to cedar point.
Let's not forget rmc has teased out post 5 at kings island
I would personally love to see it at my home park BGT. It would be a nice counter punch to draw people heading to Orlando for Epic Universe.
They would be epic!
Gotta give hope to my home park Cedar Point. Its been a while since they pushed the industry boundries and if they remove corkscrew (a bitter sweet move) they will have the space.
They would and I love this fit
I hope great america actually has a chance, they havent gotten any new coaster for five years now, which is really strange for a park that generally get much more, so I'm hoping they are waiting for a massive investment soon in rmc eagle or this.
They will get a new coaster in 2026 :)
SDC, WOF & SFSL Left the chat ☠️😴🤔😭🤐🤫
Heide Park would be great- It would fit to their coaster line up and to their strategy to add rides, the first, the fastest or the highest of Germany or Europe.
Exactly what I was thinking! Thanks for watching!!
Islands of Adventure.
T Rex is dead 💀 to me time to move on buddy!!
Why speculate? It's obviously going to SFA 🥲
😂
Never heard anyone rave about Energylandia’s theming 🤣
The new areas are phenomenal
sfne replace rapid ride
I'd love to see Hiede Park add a T-Rex... But I think Hansa Park to the north needs it more. Either would be a great addition to their line-up.
SFMM got a Raptor for 2022. They’ll likely get a B&M Giga instead since a T-Rex seems unlikely
@@Cat3465 I don't think SF would pay B&M $30mil+ for a giga. If SFMM is serious about the giga, RMC has the T-Rex ready and it's cheaper then I'm pretty confident it'll be an RMC. Otherwise I doubt they'll build one.
BGT gets the first RMC T-Rex coaster as a GIGA
It wont
(Wild Adventures is basically the Vekoma Capital of North America anyway, haha)
If they go with a ground-up woodie, a GCI like Zambezi Zinger would be an excellent fit there.
