  • Repairing a leaking frost-proof hydrant vacuum breaker by replacing the o-ring and rubber washer. This is a cheap and easy repair of a leaky vacuum breaker valve. The process is much easier and less expensive than removing the frost-proof hydrant from the wall and installing a new one.

The award should be the amazed look on my face. I didn't expect more than 10 views.😲 That's not my real face, but it will have to do for now. Thanks.

Thanks for noting the size of the washer. What size of O-ring was required?

Good to know. I had some tell me that I needed a soundtrack. I never liked them, but I gave it a try. Thanks for the input.

❤thank you. And, for what it’s worth, I enjoyed the soundtrack. Going outside to try and fix the hose bib now!

    Volume way too low!"

Sorry about the volume. I'm a pretty low budget operation. I don't have a wireless mic or any production equipment. It's just me, my phone and a tripod. Thanks for the comment. I'll try harder, or louder next time.
