Pfft. I just purchased a "hd 7470" low profile card off gumtree for $10. Amongst closer inspection, the card appeared as it should (basic low profile Dell OEM radeon) but was pleasantly surprised when I found out it was actually an r7 250 2gb, far better than the expected card. Sometimes things just work.
In fortnite textures originally are like that but you can fix it by switching to max tetxures and the game will be perfectly playable. Then you can switch it back to low.
On AMD, there's Enhanced Sync (I think thats what it's called) and that lets you get above your monitor's framerate in Fallout. I think it will make new Vegas and FO4 run faster than normal though since they're supposed to be locked at 60fps.

Even if you are standing still, the graphics card is still refreshing the screen at the FPS shown by MSI Afterburner. Which is why, when using Heaven benchmark it is better to go into user mode and find where the highest FPS place. From there you can test temperature or adjust overclocking.

My GTX 550Ti died at the end of last year after many good years in use. Bought it at launch back when I had a Core 2 Duo and it even met my current i5. Played a lot of GTA V with that thing. What a great GPU. This month I finally bought an RTX2060, after almost a year without a GPU. Finally running The Witcher 3 on ultra settings. Just had to downgrade the Hairworks AA to level 4. Still, solid 60fps everywhere and every other setting is on max. I was going to get a GTX 1660 Super, but the RTX2060 (an Asus TUF Gaming) appeared on sale for pretty much the same price. Enjoying it very much so far.

9 is a bargain if you can get it to run as well as a 550ti. damn things are going for over 30 right now. ended up buying a 560ti for 43 because it had a awesome galaxy cooler on it. there was a stock cooler zotac for 32 but always wanted a galaxy from their golden age 5xx to 7xx. plan on using it for a vista gaming rig project. pretty sure vista is pretty ironed out now especially on a sandy bridge or bulldozer build.
I actually owned one of these a few months back, I knew it was fake but the price is great enough for me. Most games I play isnt really demanding so the fps is quite ok. Tge main problem is with textures as sometimes they will have magical lines or sometimes wont even load. I upgraded to a real 730 after that and im super happy for getting out of that experience.
All of these flashed fake cards are the same. They use so little power they can get away with putting any bottom of the barrel heatsink on it and there is usually a VGA port. 550Ti is about as bottom of the barrel as it gets for GTX cards, though ironically I had a 560Ti before and that was wonderful at the time.
I still HAVE a card with the exact same cooler as that. No idea what it was advertised as in the first place, but it's a GT 440 (was flashed with it's original bios by the seller). I got it by exchanging my GT 210 with it from some shady guy on FB. but that card lasted me quite a few years until I finally upgraded to modern parts. It's dead now. It served me better than intel integrated graphics.
its really not a bad price tho for the most part ull be lucky to find anything this low price normally even myself id try to sell it with other things or $20 id prolly only walk outside my home for $9

You could try The Witcher 3 again using the Tweak mod, it gives you plenty of extra settings to lower graphics even further. Installing mods on TW3 is as simple as dragging the files over to a folder named "mods" in the game's directory. Restoring the original bios on these fake video cards can pretty much fix all issues concerning wrong driver installation or incorrect VRAM amount (which can cause crashes on itself) Even though the 550 Ti is power wise pretty limited nowadays lol
I wish you'd show more of the games that the card might actually nail, in these ones where its clear the card won't handle anything heavier than Skyrim SE at a playable frame-rate. Some examples for this one might have been stuff like CSGO, Valorant even.. they're still popular so they wouldn't make the vid boring to people who don't like obscure stuff.. I just love the benchmarks, and seeing a card fail completely for over half the video is pointless, whereas seeing stuff it might be good for is fun to me.

If your frames are maxing out even when vsync is off you might want to go to your nvidia control panel and turn vsync off in the 3D settings

Great little ‘family pc’ chips though,built a pile of Uber-cheap PCs using that and the Athlon 3000g for family & friends.

You shouldn't have an fps limit with v-sync turned off. You might check around your nvidia setting or something to see why you're locked to 75.
