The town always feels like such an accomplishment, since the entire area is just "Yo, use every single puzzle mechanic you have learnt so far to figure it out." And not in a "FINAL CHALLENGE PUZZLE RUN EPIC" type of thing, but a "Come back whenever you learn something new and try and get there eventually."
For the sticky-outy thing in town, I love the thing you discovered where it can be almost invisible _until_ you're specifically stuck and walking between it and the tower door, and suddenly then you can see it.
7:35 just realized that each of the colors of each chord is from the puzzles' location Sun-Reflective, orange wire Maze-in-the-plant, red wire Shadow puzzle, green wire
This is very late, but the same goes for the tree puzzle as well, it's pink. I'm pretty sure it's the same for a lot of the puzzles here =). Also ofcourse the shape for the smear(sun-reflective) ones is the same as in the desert ruins
Did anyone else notice that when you pause it's like you're closing your eyes? there's even the small cell things in your eye you see sometimes when light shines on them.
The gimmick of the Quarry is you get to ignore one puzzle symbol. The area is set up so that most players would see the laser box after going through the Desert, and they would have to ignore it and move on.
Glad I found your playthrough of this. I've nearly completetd this game to 100% and it's been really fun watching you slowly go insane in the same ways I did. Keep it up, man. I couldn't imagine trying to watch markiplier or JSE suffer through this. Finally a youtuber who can play puzzle games!
It's so interesting watching you play. You fly through areas that took me forever and then you get stuck on areas that I flew through. Your approaches are so different than mine and yet they both work well. What a great game.
Haha, wow, the tree. When I solved it, I compared "which branches are missing" to "which notches are missing" to figure out exactly how the notches corresponded to the branches. You just assumed "count from left to right" and you were right. :(
He did the same thing you did just in reverse. The apple branch is the only one without any broken branches. So all you need is to find which line on the panel is completely filled in.
Thinking about the eleven lasers, I’m thinking that there were originally going to be only ten, but then it was decided to add one to the town to make sure that there was one that encompasses all the mechanics (except the bonus triangle mechanic).
The town was great. The first time you visit, you have no idea and think they're all really difficult. Once you've completed everything else, the town is a breeze and you just need to work out which mechanics fit which puzzles. Very satisfying.
For the thing with that you were "stuck on for a while" -- the hint that you missed is, that the panel is that lattice shape like the ones around the tree temple, and the tree temple is all about putting stuff in the your line of sight, so the idea is to look around for something that can go between you and the puzzle..
Just have to say after the fact that "finishing... Well not the game but the easy version of the game" is a very funny thing to say on episode 29 of an 80 episode playlist.
Maybe should look at the Boat's map. I think it shows where all the... I guess 'tutorial', or 'areas' are on it I think. So can check it and see if there is any part you haven't been to yet. If not... Then yeah, probably time to head to the mountain. I think what you said about the Town being in the center and bringing in lots of the puzzles is true. I can't remember every single puzzle you ever did, nor all the ones in town. But I think it shows, at the least, 1 of every kinda puzzle. So I think to solve it, you have to have been to everywhere else, so solving it as you did, means no where left to go, but up the mountain. Hmm... 10 places, with 10 lasers, teaching you 10 different puzzle rules and such. Then town tests that you know them all to be able to solve it, and gives you a 11th laser. Makes you wonder what is at the top of the mountain. Is it the end of the game? But we've seen hints of an underground part too that doesn't seem inaccessible from anywhere on the island. So is there more? Or is that a secret you haven't found yet? Are you only down half the game, and the other half is all underground? Well only one way to find out. Play more and upload it for us! :D

Yeah, the "FINAL CHALLENGE PUZZLE RUN EPIC" thing comes later XD
@@wizzzard999 its probably the most challenging puzzle section in any puzzle game ever lmao. Completed it after hours of nonstop runs

Yeah, it's really cool. It just makes the game feel so much more like an experience someone is having

17:30 i'd say the plus sign might be *adding* to the problem, not *multiplying* it.
29:16 ->
This guy: "look at all the things I've solved!"
Me: "oh you poor summer child..."

11. That _is_ an odd number. As odd as numbers can be. Just like half the rest of them.
Mountain time baby! All aboard the hype train!
25:56 11 Lakers that’s a very odd number, yes it is a odd number, odd indeed
I like how 1 puzzle can be completed with 3 rules and you have to do all of them
God job with the town. You really breezed through the puzzles.

Hollow knight
The witness
Journey
Antichamber
Talos Principle
Terraria
Minecraft
These games makes me proud to be human, sometimes.
Yay! Puzzle time!
It still bothers me what those two puzzles in color room did, what can it be?

The first thing you do in this video does not involve plants on trees, but it does involve finding lone apples.
17:34 Don't you _mean_ it _adds_ to your problems?
But 2+2 = 2*2....so yeah

your gone hate the mountain. How to get up, the puzzles. And the music box
The laser you had to reflect was the one that came from the reflection puzzles.
A lot of the 4th panels in sequences like that aren't framed for some reason
I've always called the town the midterm of the game.
Other ones I’ve also not been framed
