What an AWESOME SONG...& GROUP! The White House NEEDS to have this group come & sing once a week to get some spiritual food! I really believe it would bring His Light to the hearts & souls of our leaders! Right now, we're losing our rights & freedoms very quickly...Can't believe everyone was so prim & proper not to give them a standing ovation!
you can tell that certain ones wanted to stand as they clapped at the end. All it would have taken would have been for the President or the First lady to have stood and the entire room would have been on their feet. But I don't think it would have been just because they stood, this song warrants that kind of respect and celebration.
Our current President has Paul McCartney come to the White House and denigrate President Bush while President Bush had the most amazing gospel band in history sing a song about freedom. I am sad for my country. God help us.
I love President Bush, but how can a whole room of people, that are making decisions for our great country, still be sitting down at the end of this wonderful song? I have not been to a concert, where this song was sung, that we as a free people weren't on our feet, in glory and thankfulness to our God, who gave us our ultimate freedom! I just don't understand this. Thanks to God for giving Gloria Gaither these wonderful words.
I couldn't keep from being brought to tears when I heard "Let Freedom Ring". If ever we need an anthem in this country with the Idiots we have leading us in Washington. If you can even remotely call what Obama & the Democrats are doing as Leading. It's the heart felt words to "Let Freedom Ring" !!!! GOD BLESS THE USA We sure do need it!

Its not surprising that GW would have a (gospel) group singing about 'freedom' at the WH. After all, that was always the guise under which he went around the globe picking fights with everybody...'freeing' the world as though he was some kinda saviour or something. But forget all that...GVB represented Christ well and thats what really matters!!
President Bush seems to truly appreciate songs that connect freedom and Christianity with American values....but it seems to be a fading part of our American culture as clearly seen with the current Obama administration. Least we forget who put him into office!
I sincerely hope God will step in and "do His thing". I don't see people having the fortitude to correct what has happened to America since the Obama debacle, and even before Obama. After all, a slight majority of these "people" reelected this abomination, so I am not sure we deserve being saved.
Yeah, his drone attacks on innocent women and children are very peaceful... It cracks me up when people try to argue the differences between Bush and Obama when their policies, both foreign and domestic, are so similar it's stupid.
