Oh Janet! What a surprise! Good and simple basic alphabet order signs language.. Also good visual quality your presentation... God bless you abundantly...
Great video nice and easy to follow but me being very hard of hearing found the music overpowering in my opinion would be better without music stay safe
Thanks for that. Just thought it might be useful sometime to have finger spelling available for ... who knows what. Re: " I speak in my videos". I initially found an ASL vid and then started looking for a BSL vid (vids much easier to understand than charts). I looked at 6 BSL vids before finding yours, all of which were silent. The ASL one was with a deaf guy but with a voice over. For a hearing person it is SO much easier to start out with a commentary. Thanks for the work. Steve PS Is it heretical to say ASL's one handed signing makes a lot of sense? Is there a one handed version within BSL?
Hi Steve. Thank you for the comment! I'm glad you found the video easy to follow. Re: one-handed vs. two-handed. BSL is a two-handed language, but some signs are one handed or at least, can be signed one handed if required. For example, if I'm speaking to someone whilst drinking a cup of tea/coffee (often the case), I'll sign one-handed!
it appears that her dominant hand is her left hand so she's seems to be signing 'left handed' - which would also mean that if you are right handed - you should be doing what you see in the video - no need to mirror or reverse.
I am learning BSL as a friend is deaf but found your letters confusing and nothing like the way I would spell them, so tried another video th-cam.com/video/R5Ds7J6kjTM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qi5QKcLEBVccuCJ6 and she spell A much better to understand than yours did

Amen. Thank you very much David! This means a lot.
Amazing lesson I have learned so much from this one lesson alone. Thank you very much!
This is so helpful that I learned how to say ‘are you okay’ and my name
So grateful

I'm so glad @KnobbleSobble!! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Thanks for the feedback James! I will adjust in future videos. I hope you still found it helpful. Take care!

Gen question. If i were to follow along with their signing should i be mirroring them or reversing my hands?
