You are a great teacher, thanks so much for posting these. I sent off for postcards of BSL alphabet in the 80s, as a hearing person, who ended up in retail. learning just some situational signs was really helpful. Its fun to learn and a great way to make spaces more accessable and inclusive. Placdes like retail often have 'scripts' the things you say most often, so even if you are someone who hasn't time to learn the entire language, its possible to learn signs relevant to situations you are in most often. Just wish it was a language also taught at schools, the world would be so much more inclusive then.

I am deaf in left ear and hearing in right , which causes me hearing problems .. I am.learning BSL and have just started working for a deaf association.
I really like your teaching style ..but found your background sound very distracting as I could hear your explanation. In the end I have to turn music off and read with captuoning

Please can you consider people with sensory issues when choosing the music. Many neuro diverse people like myself can’t focus on both music and speech.
The harp music is to loud and distracting.
Also can you consider signing as your speak as this helps to get learners used to interpreting sign.
We might not get it all however it’s good to have the opportunity to try.

I'm beginning to learn BSL and found your videos! So helpful, thank you. If I'm mouthing questions while I sign them, should I mouth the question in English (i.e. 'what's the time') or should i mouth the individual signs (i.e. time what) if that makes sense?

You're a good teacher but find you pointing to your right shoulder not left as you say.... maybe the screen is mirrored or not mirrored or something something?! 🤔
Also i agree with others about the distracting music 🎶 we would rather just hear you ! sorry i hate to sound critical because it's not in a bad way at all. ❤😊👌🏽 👍🏿 🫶🏻
    Thank you 😊
